"I-I'm Ashley Masther" the girl stutters out. "And what are you doing here?" I ask venomously. "I-I was just, I was" Ashley tries to come up with a lie "I was trying to get some information about you, and then the necklace caught my eye it was just sitting there and it was so pretty, I just couldn't leave it, I'm sorry" Ashley cries out. "What kind of information?" I press, I need to know, and if it's about our supernatural abilities then we're dead-ish. "The kind of information that explains why you've been here before, over a hundred years ago" she answers with a wicked smile, I internally curse "You must be mistaking us with someone else, unless" I say and start forming an idea in my head "you're refering to my Great Great Great Great Great Grandmother Serphina" I say, "Apparently I look, a lot like to exactly like her, and coincidently, I believe that she was one of six, four brothers and one sister, you know how looks skip generations, and stuff, well theirs skipped six generations it's like a one in a billion type thing" I finish. "Wow" she breathes out, "you are an incredibly good liar" she starts, damn it "just not good enough." Double damn.

I internally groan again. "TONY!" I yell out to my only older brother, I hear a stream of curses and he stumbles down the stairs. "Yes Winter?" He questions tiredly. "Can you grab some rope, we have a very nosey thief" I state and remove my knife from her throat. Tony turns on a light and I hear Ashley groan from the sudden brightness. I blink a couple of time trying to regain my eyesight. I look up at Tony giving him a look that says 'well get on with it' he nods his head and quickly rushes to the garage which has just about anything and everything, this is because I enjoy fixing up cars and bikes and anything else.
Tony returns with the rope and I pick the girl up, trapping her hands behind her back even though she tries to escape. I force her to sit in the chair and Tony ties her up. All of our commotion must've woken the others because soon enough, Moll, Jason, Tyler and Seth have joined us downstairs.

"Well," Seth starts "what are we gonna do with her?" "I honestly don't know" I answer, standing around the kitchen bench keeping a firm eye on her. "How much does she know?" Molly asks "I couldn't say," I begin, dropping my voice to a very quiet whisper "but she does know that we've been here before." "Well crap" Molly mutters I just nod my head.

I walk over to Ashley and look around, I see her bag on the ground, I go to pick it up "Don't." It's Ty's voice that stops me "What?" I ask. "Don't touch anything, we're gonna call the police." This time its Molly talking. I nod my head leave the bag, and put the knife away, making sure that she isn't bleeding. I wash the knife and put it away, before nodding to Tony who calls the police. I start making myself cry. Ten minutes later the police arrive. "Miss" one says approaching me "I'm Officer Lydnenveiw, this is Deputy Eflskim, can you please tell us exactly what happened?" The officer asks gently. I nod my head. "I-I got out of bed" I interrupt myself with a sob "to-to get a a glass of water" I sob again "an-and I I heard a noise in the living room so I went to investigate" I cry some more "and and I turned on on the light" I let out another sob "th-then she attacked me. I-I man-managed to pin her to the ground, and and I called out for T-Tony, and he went and and he got a rope and tied her to the chair and and we call called you here." I finish and break back down into tears.

The two police men then question Tony and our stories match up. The two officers then question Ashley, who told the truth, this made them question the others, however all our stories match, and Ashley is arrested. The police cuff Ashley up and she starts yelling and fighting. "YOU FOOLS, THEIR THE ONES YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTING THEIR NOT HUMAN, THEIR FREAKS ALL OF THEM ESPCIALLY HER!" She screams out pointing at me, I pretend to be scared and cry harder Molly looks frightened, my brothers all tense up looking insulted, confused and angry. "Miss Premone," Officer Lydnenveiw begins "it's gonna be alright, and don't worry about what she said, some people can't accept that they've been caught, and go a little crazy, so pay no mind to her." He finishes I nod my head. "Well, Miss Premone is there anything that's been taken?" I look around and nod my head "My mother's necklace, it was sitting on that table there" I tell them my voice cracking. The police pick up the bag and search through it, finding mum's necklace, they hand it over to me. I take it wordlessly and nod in gratitude.

The two officers finally leave, and as soon as they do I straighten up and shoot them all a glare. "None of you mention this to anyone" I say harshly they all nod their heads "good, now it's late and we all need to be up early tomorrow, so go back to bed." I say and they all do as told. Except for Molly. She fills up the jug, turns it on and proceeds to make two coffee's, one for me and one for her. She sits down opposite from me. She doesn't say anything, just sits there. And that is exactly what I need, someone to just sit there and be with me.

"Molly" I say it's barely above a whisper, she just looks up at me "do you remember, when Lyra got kidnapped?" I ask, glancing up to meet her eyes "Yes, I remember, you got so angry because they wouldn't let you go after her" she replies. "Why was that?" She prods, knowing that I would've brought it up for a certain reason. "I was so angry because I promised mum and dad that I'd protect you guys, all of you" I murmur my answer looking into her eyes at the last bit. "When she got kidnapped. I-I felt like I'd failed them" I finish. "Why did you bring this up now?" Molly asks. "Because, when I had to cry to make my story more believable, that's what I thought of." I tell Molly tracing circles on the counter top refusing to meet her eyes. I felt something wrap around me, and I realise that she's hugging me. I hug her back and for the second time today. I start to cry.
"Come on Win, you need to go to bed." Moll tells me, I nod my head and follow her upstairs to my bed. Moll makes sure that I'm in bed before leaving. And just before I succumb to the darkness "Goodnight my sister" is the last thing I hear, and it comes from Molly.

I open my eyes, groan and shut them again. I can't believe how bright the sun is. I crawl out of bed and look at the date on the court summon 18/9/38 and today is the 4/9/38 CRAP! That's in two weeks. I grab the phone directory and look up some lawyers. I successfully find some. I call one call is called MJ Duffy and Son Solicitor. "Hello, MJ Duffy and Son Solicitor this is Alice how can I help you" the lady on the other end of the phone- Alice- asks, "Hi, I'd like to set up a meeting with a solicitor," I tell her, "Of course, Michael has an opening in an hour, he can fit you in then, Miss..." Alice trails off "Premone" I fill in for her "Winter and Tyler Premone" "Two of you?" She asks "Yeah, it's kind of complicated" I tell her, "Anyway, you and Tyler can come in, in an hour and speak with Michael about the case" Alice says "Okay thank you" I hang up.
"Tyler, you're going to be late to school today. You're coming with me to meet the solicitor" I tell Ty as he scarfs down his breakfast. "When?" He asks through a mouthful of food "In forty-five minutes, now HURRY UP!" I state, yelling the last part at all of them. "Also guys you're gonna have to walk to school today. I need my car." They all groan, "Good luck" Molly says as Tyler and I walk out the door.
"Tyler" I say, we're sitting in front of the solicitor's we have ten minutes to spare "please, make sure I don't become too rude, or violent, also don't be rude or violent yourself. It won't look good" I plea to my younger brother. "Sure thing Win" I smile. "Thank you. C'mon let's go in" I tell him and get out of the car and walk into the solicitor's shop. "Hi, Winter and Tyler Premone, we have an appointment with Michael." I tell the lady at the desk she smiles "Okay, I'll let him know you're her please have a seat." She tells us I nod my head and Tyler and I take our seats.

"Well that went better than expected" I tell Tyler as we get into the car. "What you mean that you only wanted to punch him not kill him?" Tyler asks and I laugh "Yes that's exactly what I mean" Tyler laughs and shakes his head. "Okay buddy you ready for school" I tell him. "What? Why?" Ty asks "Because, I rang up the school and told them you late, and besides you haven't missed out on much" I tell him logically, he just groans in response, I laugh and take him to school. "Here you go." I tell him passing him his bag, "You are the meanest sister ever" Ty complains "Yeah, but you loooove me" I say messing with him, we both laugh and Tyler gets out. "See ya" Ty says "See ya" I reply and go home. "Time for a coffee I think" I murmur as I walk inside.
