[Luna's POV]
I had a feeling today was going to be a good day, hopefully it's my 21st birthday. It's 09/01/97, I share a birthday with one of my fave kpop idols. Jungkook Jeon a.k.a Kookie.

Let me introduce myself, I live in San Diego. I know I wasn't born here, I've seen my birth certificate once. I have a strange suspicion that my parents aren't my parents.

My sister use to live with me but she moved to Seoul, for work. My Oppa lives somewhere in Seoul, my other Unnie lives a few houses down. We video call, when we aren't busy.

Anyways my name is Luna Moon. I know, I know my name makes no sense, How can my name be moon moon? It just is! But I find it cute & funny at the same time. You can call me Lady Luna, Luna or lil moon.

I'm Half Korean Half Chamorro, Chamorro is a person from Guam that's born in the states. I've been told I'm average & nothing special, but I don't believe that. I'm 5'5 160lbs, I'm fit, meaning I have no ounce of fat on my body whatsoever.

I don't like to brag or anything but I've got a 6 pack. I have tanned skin, I look more Islander than Korean. But I think I was born to become someone important, not knowing how important I will be.

I just got a call from My mom & dad. They said they are too busy to come & see me. It's been since 7 years since I've seen them. But yet again I believe they're lies, like always.

They did say that I could visit or move in w/ them. But the thing is I'm too afraid they wouldn't want me anymore cause I'm broken. Let's rewind back 11 years ago.

[Flashback]
It was a few days after my 10th birthday, I just got home from my friends house. I had permission from my Unnie so We could finish our group project. Anyways it was movie night, my Unnie is suppose to be here 8. So I'm setting up our snacks, drinks & dinner,  pizza. It was then when I went to put away a few clean towels.

That I was attacked from behind, I was scared but I didn't know what to feel. I had a gut feeling, telling me not to fight back. The intruder was drowning me. I felt so useless, afraid that I was never going to be able to see my siblings again. I felt myself being lifted, I was conscious but not really.

I hear yelling, My Unnie Hana was home. I smiled, then everything went black. I heard her breathe dammit, don't leave me alone lil one. Dammit you can't I don't have enough money for your surgery. Oh that's right, I forgot I was born with a weak heart.

I think that's why, I don't have many friends. I remember waking up, asking my Unnie if I could travel to get stronger, She said I'll Always have her. That Always is My Strength.
[End Flashback]

As I was saying they wouldn't want me, cos I'm broken. Every day I have to give myself a shot, so I won't go into cardiac arrest. Well I thought I'd do something for myself for once.

My Unnie emailed me, telling the are accepting video auditions for Big Hit Entertainment. So that's my objective today, 4 songs. I picked 3 BTS songs & 1 song by Taeyeon.

I sent in my cover songs I did the English Versions. I did Euphoria, Serendipity, Let Go, Fine. I closed up my laptop satisfied, when I get a message from my aunt. She wants to meet for Lunch. She has work tonight so she can only do lunch.

I told her okay, I got ready. My hair is pitch black, with bright purple highlights. I put on my purple AND1 high tops. Black joggers, purple BTS hoodie. She wanted me to get out of the house, She said to bring an umbrella it's raining hard.

But I love the rain, so I skipped the umbrella. I step out into the storm. To me the rain, washes way bad, sad feelings away. I locked up  walking across the street, I had to walk down a street. To get to the main road, I had to walk across the trolley tracks path.

I hear a tiny meow, when I get to the main road. Oh no a tiny kitten was stuck in the middle of the road. It's wet, it also looked injured. Aish I love kittens. I run to the kitten without thinking, dodging cars.

I pick her up and put her in hoodie pocket. I looked Inside to see if she was alright. She was, I was satisfied. I didn't look both ways, my only goal was to get out of the rain. I take that one step, I shouldn't have.

The one time I didn't look, I get hit only trying to get the kitty to safety. I go flying 2ft in the air, then sliding about 1 to 2 ft. The screech of tires, yelling is heard all around. I hear Miss, Miss.

I bring my hand to the right side of my face. I try to focus, it's bloody I've never seen so much blood. I lay back closing my eyes, I think to myself my birthday officially sucks ass big time.
