Claudia was sitting in her dressing, playing the piano. She was singing alone to 'God Only Knows', a song by the beach boys that she sang to Nathan for the first real time. There was a knock on the door and the guy came in to her dressing room. 

"Claudia, Chris wants to rehearse." The guy said and Claudia turned around to face him.

"Sure. But when I want to rehearse he starts to moan." Claudia muttered to herself as she smiled at the guy. Claudia walked up to Chris who looked annoyed.

"You dedicated your song to Nathan. Claudia we are meant to act like we are a couple." Chris said as he marched up to Claudia angrily.

"Chris I am married." Claudia replied annoyed.

"Well, come on tell him that. I heard he slept with a girl called Taylor last night." Chris replied and Claudia's heart fell to the ground.

"How would you know?" Claudia asked trying to hold back her tears.

"Connections." Chris replied smirking.

"Have you been going through my things?" Claudia asked angrily and Chris just rolled his eyes.

"Not the point, Claudia. The point is that-" He began to say and Claudia walked away. "Claudia, where are you going?" Chris asked shouting after her.

"Shut up. Rehearse yourself." Claudia shut before she shut her dressing room door and slid down in crying. She picked up her mobile phone.

"Hey Nathan. It's Claudia," she said trying to hold back her tears. I was obvious that she was crying, "I just wanted to chat. Listen, did you sleep with Taylor last night?" She asked, her voice croaking. "I need to know." She said sternly before she took a deep breath. "I love you Nate." She cried into the phone before she ended the call.

Cooper, Lucas and Nathan are walking to a place where cars are kept. Lucas made sounds of approval as he saw the cars. He knew that Claudia would of loved this. 

"This is Jeff Burton's car." Lucas asked in shock.

"Yes it is." Cooper replied and Lucas gasped. "Hey, you guys wanna meet him?" Cooper, the cool uncle, asked.

"Yeah." Nathan exclaimed as they walked up to the man.

"Hey, Jeff!" Cooper said and Jeff turned around at the sound of his voice. 

"Hey, Coop." Jeff Burton nodded.

"These two knuckleheads are fans of yours." Cooper said as he shook Jeff's hand.

"Oh, is that right? How you guys doing?" Jeff said shaking the brothers hands. 

"Good." The both replied smiling.

"Hey, your car was really fast out there. Who's driving it?" Jeff asked Cooper.

"That my crew chief, Ray Green." Cooper replied and Jeff nodded his head.

"Oh, yeah, I know Ray, he's a good man. It's a shame what happened." Jeff replied and Cooper inclined his head in agreement.

"Yeah, it is." Cooper stated in agreement.

"Look, you guys stay out of trouble." Jeff said to the brothers smiling before he turned to Cooper. "I'll see you in Darlington." Jeff said as he walked away. The boys just laughed.

The boys were all standing at the race court speaking to the infamous Ray Green.

"Hey, Tony?!" Ray shouted to the driver in red. The helmet was pulled off and the long hair fell out. They placed the helmet on the stop of the car and smiled. 

"No way!" Nathan exclaimed in shock, Cooper scoffed as he turned his head to nod at the brothers. Daytona jumped the wall and walked up to them.

"It's still not right, dad; tight in, loose off." Daytona criticised and Ray laughed. Lucas eyes him with a raised brow. 

"Nate, you remember my daughter, Daytona?" Ray asked Nate who was stunned and couldn't think of anything to say.

"You got your braces off." Nathan said in shock as he looked at her smiling. Cooper looked down, a little embarrassed for Nathan. 

"Yeah, like four years ago." Daytona grinned and they both laughed. "It's so good to see you." Daytona continued and they hugged.

"It's good to see you, too." Nathan replied still hugging her.

"Wow, man, I ain't seen you in forever." Nathan exclaimed to little Garrett as they walked past the cars.

"I know. How's that, uh,... that marriage thing going?" Garrett asked awkwardly and Nathan looked ahead as he shook his head.

"Not so good." Nathan replied sadly.

"Oh, man, that sucks!" Garrett exclaimed and Nathan nodded his head.

"Yeah. Yeah, tell me about it." Nathan muttered to himself.

"Oh, no, no, I mean,... you're gonna be, like, divorced before... I even get a girl to date me." Garrett shouted and Nathan looked at Garrett shaking his head. He couldn't help but grin at the cute little boy.

"My wife, Claudia. She would of loved you." Nathan replied smiling down at Garrett. Garrett nodded, he was impressed with himself.

It was completely dark and a tent had been set up. Nathan and Lucas walk up to Daytona who is playing the guitar next to a bonfire.

"Tell me you don't live in a tent all year round." Nathan joked as they walked up to her.

"No, it's just nice to get out under the stars sometimes." Daytona laughed as Nathan and Lucas sat down. "Plus, Garrett hates it, so, that's a plus." Daytona joked.

"You gonna play something?" Lucas asked.

"What d'ya wanna hear? NWA? A little Tupac?" Daytona replied smirking and Nathan looked uncomfortable, his wife left him because of music. 

"Surprise us." Nathan replied smiling.

"OK, um,..." Daytona sighed before she began to play 'God Only Knows' by the beach boys. The first ever song Claudia properly sang to Nathan. Nathan couldn't take it and got up. He left. 

"What! It's the beach boys." Daytona laughed as she looked at Nathan who left without saying a word. "Did it suck that bad?" Daytona asked Lucas.

"No, it's... it's not that. It's... a Claudia thing." Lucas laughed sadly as he shook his head. Daytona joined in. 

"I just... wish there was something I could do to help him." Daytona replied sympathetically.

"What was he like when you were kids?" Lucas asked changing the subject, he always wanted to know what Nathan was like pre-basketball.

"He was... kind." Daytona gushed as she looked down smiling. "Just a really... sweet guy." She continued and Lucas nodded his head. "And a good friend... pre basketball." Daytona finished, Nathan was a jerk once basketball came into his life properly. 

"Yeah" Lucas replied shaking his head.

"By the way, your marshmallow's on fire." Daytona laughed.

"Oh!" Lucas groaned as he lifted up the skewer with the burning marshmallow. He blew the flames out as Daytona laughed.

Nathan was driving a car at god knows what speed, then he began to think about Claudia and how she practically dumped him. He crashed into the wall, really hard. Lucas and Daytona ran off the car. Cooper and Ray threw off their headphones and ran over as well.

"NATHAN!" Lucas shouted scared as he ran towards the car, the flames held him back a little. "NATHAN!" He shouted again as he backed away from the flames and then ran straight into the car to get his brother out. Cooper ran up, shouting at Lucas to stay back. Lucas and Cooper ran into the burning car and pulled Nathan out of the car. Daytona held Garrett back. Lucas fell back as he clutched onto Nathan crying. "Nathan, NATHAN?!" Lucas shouted panic. Nathan was lying in his arms unconscious and bleeding from his nose. "Nathan! Nathan! Come on. Come on. Hold on. HOLD ON!" Lucas pleaded to Nathan, who was still unconscious. Cooper looked at everything distressed.

Nathan was lying on a gurney, being pulled alone while hooked up to equipment, Medical personnel pushed it along. Lucas was in front of Cooper as the rushed alongside it worried.

"I've got severe respiratory distress; heart rate rapidly accelerating. Tachycardiac." The Personnel said. 

"You've been in an accident, son." The Doctor said to Nathan, who was lying on the gurney. He was hooked up to every machine.

"You're gonna be OK, Nate." Cooper said, he was feeling bad. He was regretting all of his choices.

"Hey, we're right here, buddy." Nathan whispered as he bent down closer to his younger brother.

"Promise me." Nathan said hoarsely.

"Anything." Lucas replied following the gurney, that Nathan lay on.

"Six units of blood!" The doctor shouted which freaked Lucas out. He was kind of glad that Claudia was not there because she would have been an emotional wreck.

"Don't. Call. Claudia." Nathan said slowly, as he looked at his brother. He was torn. Claudia is his best friend and Nathan's wife. Lucas sighed as Nathan was taken away. Lucas and Cooper stood watching him.

"Nathan has been in an accident!" Lucas said and Claudia fell in her chair with shock.

"What do you mean accident? Is he okay?" Claudia asked frantically her mum ran up to her and sat beside her, hugging her daughter.

"Claudia, you need to come get here." Lucas stated as he stood in the hospital, Claudia nodded her head.

"Okay I am booking the first flight now." She replied as her mum wiped away her tears.
