Send my love to Russia//Rough and Ready
Well, hello there, my friends.
Sorry I've been hopping around and not having much time to update.
It's been more than a week.
How have you been holding up? I hope good. Tell me, anything exciting?
I went to an art opening at my uncle's art gallery Friday. This show was all based on art and music. It was really cool! There was one of the best paintings of Ozzy I've ever seen. And of course it was named "Paranoid". Other artists were Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, the Doors. I was smiling like a maniac.
I went to my paternal grandparents' on Saturday. We went to mass and then stayed at their house. Didn't do much.
At mass, the deacon mentioned Silence of the Lambs and Willy Wonka in the homily, which was weird.
It still have yet to see Silence of the Lambs. I really like pyscho-horror. It messes with you, which I like. When I saw the Shining, I was freaked out and then I read the book. It was creepy and one of the best books to read in the dark, I felt.
My grandmother loves Python so I showed her a pre-Python show called 'the Last of the 1948 Show' with John Cleese, Marty Feldman and Graham Chapman. The sketch was called "The Four Yorkshiremen".

Hilarious!^^
She smiled and laughed and she loved it.
I taught my grandpa some German, because I was telling him about some of the langauges I've learned. I only know a little bit of German.

I made a 20 hour playlist full of dark themed heavy metal. It's fun and it has bands on it that I usually don't listen to unless I'm in the mood for something super heavy, like Slayer or Venom.
Then I went over to my maternal grandparents' house. I'm staying her until Teusday, so that will be fun.
My cousins (the Fiend club) and my aunt and uncle were there so, of course I talked with them for 2 hours.
My uncle and I talked about movies and prog rock and rock in general. He knows about Opeth and likes them! pair-of-socks This is awesome!
Eep! I told him Steve Wilson's touring and coming to my city in November. I would love to go with him and his sister because she's into Steve Wilson's stuff, too.
Rush and Yes entered the conversation, too. Somewhere in the history of prog, there was a fan rivalry between the two bands and Geedy Lee had not heard about this until Ann Wilson told him.
Yes and Rush were friends, man! Most of the bands intertwined and shared members. So many connections!
We talked about the members of Yes and Chris Squire and stuff like that. ABHW was basically like a 'fuck you' message to Chris. Wakeman was the only one to have real urges and be friends with Black Sabbath. I called Jon Anderson an asexual woodland faery and he was laughing so hard he almost cried, but it's so true!
We talked about little fun facts about the band, which was fun, too.
But before any of this happened, I went to our state's grocery store and saw a guy with a Pink Floyd tee and I had mine on and he just looked at me with disguist. Ugh...why can't a about 15 year old (what I look like, apparently) girl, listen to good music? Grrr...
Anywho, I'll be around! If I'm not really active tomorrow, don't worry I'm at the park. I'll talk to you guys later! Love ya!
💚Geez💜
