Hi. How are you?

Duran Duran and Iron Maiden cheer me up. Most of the time, that is.

Many, many things happened today and I'll get into what this chapter was going to be about soon, just let me get this mess of a day straightened out.

I woke up, and did my morning routine (brush teeth, showered, made breakfast, made my lunch, yadda yadda yadda). I almost missed the bus, with I cursed quietly and then hopped on the bus. I participated in a lot of things today, being a 17 minutes of silence (which I'm not going to get into) and meeting a Jewish WWII survivor, who I got a picture with. He was in his late 90s, he was short, kind, German accent, grandfather-type. His speech was really moving.

And three other science-y/math things happened today. The 30th anniversary of Pi day, Einstein's birthday and the death of Stephen Hawking. One of the greatest minds in the 20th and 21st century gone. What a shame. He will sadly be missed by all. He was lively, smart, and had an amazing mind. All though study hall, (which I have with my old science teacher), we were talking about Hawking and other scienists. It was chill, I guess and a bit melancholy, but that's what life it.

If I think about it, he got me into space, all those theroies. His book made me wonder through the stars. He will be missed by many.

RIP Stephen Hawking 1942-2018.
