Black and Blue and Dyed Blonde.

'Ello, luvs!

Anna Wilton-Smith, yours truly, is back and more rocking than ever!

I woke up next to Keira today. I swear, we weren't doing anything, just a bit of cuddling. It's really cute how she rested her head on my chest and snuggled into me.

She slept in, and then woke up. She said she's been doing that very little in her free time. High school for her is tough and her self-confidence is lack emmesencely.

I, on the other hand, had to be out of bed, dressing and all that jazz by seven, so that kind of sucked.

I wish I could have slept in.

Kat was working at a late night local radio station, and all the girls are sleeping in besides myself, Lily and Keira, who was writing down some things.

Lily is going to uni today to talk with some people about getting a part time job as a historian.

But the thing is: She'd have to drive 2 hours to get there. And this is not some ordinary historian job, no. This is Oxford were talking about. Fucking Oxford! I doubt she's going to nick it. I really hope she doesn't. She's have to move from Essex to Oxford and that would really suck.

She's now a librarian at the University of London, where I went, and works there when we're not rocking it up. I guess now it has some rockstars under its belt. Elton John, Mick Jagger, Brian May, myself and Lily.

Lily's a funny little thing. She loves books, epics and literature from Shakespeare's time, but when you put her on stage, you could have swore you're looking at a whole different person.

On some nights, she twiddles around on the bass like John Paul Jones of Zeppelin, but on others, she's one of the most up in your face, showing no remorse, bassists ever. She's great!

Spandex, leather and metal changes you. *smirks* What type of metal, I don't know.

She's a cinnamon roll that can kill you and we love her every way she is.

Sam was working late night at the bakery, making dough and whatever she does there and Charlotte did everything and anything under God's sky last night.

I believe she was dancing or singing dirty blues at one of the last small pub venues there is, but I could be wrong. I bloody hope that Bruce was with her.

She's brilliant on stage. She makes love with the music and won't stop until the crowd leaves. It's always a packed show when she's there.

She's like Robert Plant with tits, seriously! Everybody says that, but it's true!

We once had a off-shoot band called 'The House of Scarlet Silks' named after two Sherlock Holmes story, which was my idea, not Lily's. Kat didn't believe me, but anyway, I introduced the girls and their thing with pseduonyms. Charlotte performed with only a robe, pants and heels on that night.

She's just a fabulous woman to awe at, to work with and to be friends with.

In the 70s, when I wasn't with Darcy, my girlfriend at the time, I was with Charlotte. Ah, those nights...talking endlessly about music and gossip about bands and laughing, drinking three whole bottles of red wine.

My God, was that fun!

Remember, this was also in the 70s, experiment was everything.

I experimented with girls, punks, and basically anything I could get my hands on.

I started to do some close up magic at some pubs. The straitjacket became my favourite act to do. I took up guitar and look at me now.

I have two lovely children, a loving husband (though we've never married) and a group of amazing friends to back me up.

An interviewer called Lioness, a band of 'Metal Goddesses'.

At then Lily muttered 'female Hephaestuses' and I couldn't not crack a smirk.

It's our way of cheering each other up, making each other smile and giggle, feel good.

Humour's probably one of the reasons we can agree and make things work.

We all have a really dark sense of humour.

When I first met her, I was super surprising that she quoted Monty Python.

It was amazing that such a girl, with a small, kind smile, big baby blue eyes, beautiful blonde hair and such a nice innocence to her, be laughing about death and misery in that way. n

Everyone is a double sided coin; You don't know what over people are going through; Differences are useful and can make you stronger; these are all the lessons I've learned from life.

À bientôt, mes belles!
