People say children are intelligent due to the lack of curroption in their young minds. Others respectfully disagree, and it's mainly the previous generations who push that claim. Only to further their claim that they're more intelligent due to their wise wisdom and many years on Earth.
She was still trying to figure herself out, no fifteen year old had successfully analyzed themselves yet. She didn't know what she wanted, yet she longed for comfort. She had a hard time distinguishing simple comfort or sexual comfort. She hadn't done anything despite her yearn for the unknown touch.
This is what made Natalia so curious on the aspect of prepubescent intelligence. She simlly did not know what she wanted, how she wanted it, where she wanted it, or who she wanted it with.
The blonde girl touched her now reddened cheeks from the lewd and unsettling thoughts that now paraded her mind. She let out a large sigh and slumped back on the park bench.
Despite her longing for the unknown touch, Natalia always found solace in sitting on her favorite park bench. It was surrounded by fields of various amounts of flowers. It was absolutely beautiful and no one dared to pick then to erase the beauty the garden gave to the park. Her birth parents used to visit this park and dance in the fields before their deaths.
Natalia clutched her foral dress so tightly that her knuckles started to turn red. She squeezed her thighs together and then placed her hands in her head. She felt like weeping but that unknown force prevented her from doing so, for this had always driven the young orphan mad. This feeling was draining her, she needed love she was so dearly stripped away from her.
"Talia!", A female voice called for her, gaining her blonde's attention quickly. She released her hands from her dress and took a quick breath. She was mentally preparing herself for this upcoming conversation, why did she seem like she had to plan them? It never felt genuine anymore.
Natalia turned herself around to see a brunette, close to her age. She instantly recognized such a familiar face. T'was Felicity Nunier, the girl full of wit and intelligence.
People like Felicity made Natalia think of the controversy between prepubescent intelligence and the accreditation for it. The girl was a genius and was sure to become successful one day. Natalia did want the best for Felicity, as she had been a person who hasn't ridiculed her.
Felicity was sweet like candy and very soft spoken. She'd help any living being in a heartbeat, she was self less to Natalia, and she admired that.
"Hello Felicity", Natalia answered back softly, looking down at her feet. "Why so down?", Felicity asked the girl, making Natalia sigh.
"I-I, nevermind it", Natalia said, trying hold back her tears. An emotional conversation hadn't even happen yet but Natalia always found herself to cry around Felicity.
Felicity had that maternal comfort Natalia lacked. Although the same age, Natalia really saw her in that light. The orphan had no other mother figure besides her foster family which continued to grow distant.
"Nevermind it? Talia you musn't hide", Felicity softly said. Felicity tried to lay her hand on Natalia's back but Natalia leaned away from her hand, her face showing disgust from her hand.
Felicity offendly retracted her hand hack, growing some insecurities herself. "I said what I said Felicity, not at this time." Natalia said, standing up from the park bench.
"When?!", Felicity desperately said, making Natalia give her a confused look. "When are you going to open up to me?" Felicity said, earning a glare from Natalia.
"None of your concern Nunier, you best get to leaving me now", Natalia said, making the brunette sigh and walk away hesitantly.
Talia had always been hard to conversate with. Plus, it hadn't been Felicity's first time trying to comfort the girl in solace. Everyone was awarw of Talia's unfortunate circumstances, but nobody dared to talk with her about it. Maybe she thought Felicity was doing it out of pity or a dare, she'll never figure it out.
"Felicity!", A male voice called out. The male voice made Talia stop her tracks too. "What is it Edward?", Felicity asked her older brother.
Older wouldn't even be the word for him. They had only been two years apart, plus Felicity had grown considerably for mature than him. "It's time to go home, Daniel stepped in an ant hill and is crying", Edward told her, and he looked visibly annoyed.
He crossed his arms with intent, he seemed ready to leave too. He turned his head to see the blonde, and his sudden gaze made her gasp. Edward didn't even comment on her obvious starting, he just clenched his jaw.
"Alright then", Felicity said, walking past her brother and to their family car. Edward smiled at the ground and kicked the pebbles. "It's rude to stare you know?", He told Talia.
"My dearest apologies then" she said softly, making the boy widen his eyes. "She speaks!", Edward says sarcastically.
"As a matter of fact I do, I just choose not too", The blonde sharply said. Edward breathed out through his nose harder than usual. "Sudden change of tone? What with that blondie?", He said, earning a glare from her.
"Forget it", she remarked undefeated, she didn't feel like going back and forth.
"ED!" Felicity yelled out to get the attention of her brother. "Duty calls, see you at school Natalia." He said giving her a curt nod at their end of an strange encounter. It gave great hoy to Edward by flustering Natalia. She despised it, he was the only one that could make her feel that way. She loathed it, for it furthered her unknown feeling.
Talia knew when Edward teased her, it wasn't a sexual feeling. That was the only thing she knew for sure. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. It was magichour, time to go home.
That wretched place. It is not like her foster parents were mean, they didn't understand her. However, she would prefer her foster parents rather her biological. Her mother died a few minutes after Talia's birth from shock due to loss of blood.
After that, her father treated her badly and claimed she killed the love of his life. He started to torment her, and ultimately lead to her being taken into custody. When asked about her father's torment, Natalia wouldn't tell what else he would do, she plans to bury it deep in the pits of hell.
She hated her father, and she loved her mother. It's unfortunate she will never get to meet her. Vivian Agnelli was a true beauty.
blonde hair, brown eyes.
Perhaps, she wouldn't meet Vivian in the afterlife. She was probably in heaven making flower crowns and praying. The fate of Talia, she wasn't so sure.
It was based on morale and ethics, Talia never curropted anything, she distanted herself before any of that happened. Truthfully, she was too afraid to anyways. Plus, she never long or hoped despite those unfortunate events.
"I'm going mad", Talia remarked, while she rubbed her eyes and temples ferociously. "Despite these thoughts, I may not act upon them and truthfully I don't kmow what they mean." Talia finished. She squinted at rhe magic hour sunset in front of her and smiled softly.
As she lowered hwe bead, she spotted a blond boy distantly. He didn't notice her presence, but Talia stared longingly at him. He was beautiful , undoubtedly so. "Nevermind that", Talia said, directing her attention to the exit. Talia walked to the exit with her pale fists clenched.
"I don't wanna go home", She whispered sadly. Tears were burning her throat and she tensed. "I'm a fucking child"
Yeah a child alright, crying in a park. The mysterious blond boy directed his eyes to Talia, in confusion.
Was there a reason to cry?
Talia turned to see him staring. She was bright eyed, red, and teary. The boy opened his mouth but she put her head down and carried on home.
teenagers truly don't know what they want.
