It had been so long.

Time was ticking in such a fast pace, she couldn't even keep count. It was no surprise she was dead, she's known that ever since she fled the Newmark estate. However, she still yearned for her. Her beautiful eyes and fiery hair, swishing in the sunlight. She enjoyed watched her grow and play in the water gardens and when she left home, it was terrible again.

"Evans" a voice called out, the older man winced at the nickname. She tucked her graying red hair behind her ear and her haunting green eyes stared at her reflection. "Nobody has called me Evans ever since she left" she whispered, almost crying at her sweet girls disappearance.

"She left her mark" the man pointed out, making her nod. Forever.

The child had felt so serene, so peaceful, the environment was immensely perfect. Natalia lied on her periwinkle bed, she even let out a small giggle. She turned her head and pinched a small piece of her hair.

"My mother's hair" Talia whispered, in a soft voice. She had inherited Vivian's long blonde locks, whenever she felt her hair she feels as if her mother is watching her intently.

The loud knock on her door annoyed her though, yet her mere speck of happiness was not going to fade. Talia intended on cherishing it, despite the universes harmful plagues.

Lilith rushed to the door in such a childlike way. Spirits so high and elated, this visitor was truly her step back into innocence.

She opened the door to meet an older red headed woman. The woman smiled giddily, and went in for a hug. "Lily" The woman said, while smoothing out her hair.

"It's been so long" Lilith responded. The woman smoothed out Lilith hair and traced her fingertips on it. Lilith sadly nodded. "Just for her-"

"Who are you?" Natalia interrupted, gaining attention from both women. Lilith continued to smile while the red headed woman looked at her in shook. "You look just like Vivi" The woman said.

"Vivi? As in my mother" Natalia said, furrowing her brows. "Oh yes. Vivi and Lily it goes way back, I remember them both, sitting on the silk canopy. They used to braid each others hair, completely happy and in oblivion to the world they occupied. I was merely a spectator, Lilith's mother did all the maternal work." The woman said sadly, making Lilith wince.

"A spectator?" Natalia asked, but Lilith shook her head and changed the subject quickly. "Natalia dear this is Miss Geline, she's a family friend of mine and your fathers" Lilith said. Talia furrowed her brows at the mention of that fool for a man named Dennis. However, his incompetence was not going to rain on her parade, not like it has done before.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Geline, sorry for my brashness I don't do well with strangers." Talia explained in a calculating way. It seemed like the single word stranger had hit Miss Geline in a terrifying way, as if this wasn't meant to happen. "I understand child, yet I only meant to give you something" Miss Geline responded. The woman pulled out a black box and opened it to reveal a silver necklace engraved with cursive "Agnelli". Natalia was struck with awe and smiled at the beautiful gift. "It was your mothers, she wore it all the time." Miss Geline said. "What changed?"

"Time changes people, it's Agnelli tradition to pass the necklace onto the daughter. She never got the chance to give it to you" Geline said. "So you had it?" Talia asked but Lilith again intervened.

"Thank you Geline, so nice to see you again" Lilith said, making the older woman smile. "Always a pleasure Lily" Miss Geline said, walking out the door.

"Let me" Lilith said, coming closer and clasped the necklace on Talia's neck. "She's a strange woman" Talia said, but Lilith smiled.

"She isn't strange, she is a merely a sad woman" Lilith answered. "Why is she sad?" Talia asked. Lilith shook her head and caressed Talia's soft cheeks. "Go to bed child" She said, kissing her forehead.

Talia obliged and she dreamt a beautiful yet haunting dream. As if she was someone else. She was in a beautiful lot, dressed in the fanciest of clothes, and hair in a bun.

The scene was black and white, she saw no pure color yet her skin had seemed darker in color to them due to the heated environment.

She walked up to the gate and looked outward, everyone was happy.

why was she here?

he woke up with a sudden jolt, her skin clammy and her breath caught. However, she couldn't cry this time and she forced herself not too. She couldn't let the wretched gods catch her through turmoil.

She stepped outwards to look out her window, her fingertips struck with cold and she didn't even flinch, she was made for it.

She spotted him again, not Jonathan, dear Edward. She kept a close eye on him, he was walking alone towards her gazebo. He picked a pansy and let the flower slowly decay in his hand.

Her eyes bore into him, and he felt it. He slowly looked up to her, and her breath hitched. She quickly grabbed onto her family necklace as if it was going to protect her. Instead of smirking at her like he usually did to spite her, he continue to stare at her sadly.

He boldy walked up to her window and clutched the dead daisy by his side. Natalia couldn't move, her body was frozen with awe but her curiosity was present. Talia opened her window to reveal the young boy completely out of his character.

She bent down to be at his level, this notion made her chuckle slightly. "You're hard to calculate" He says but she furrows her brows. "I'm supposed to be" She remarks.

He places the pansy in her side of the room and she stared at him intently. "Just continue your walk Ed" She softly says, taking the daisy and clutching it. However, he grabs her hand softer.
.

"Walks this late represent my despondency, not if I find the light on the path" He says, looking up at her. She tried to read his face, yet she was far too tired to do so.

"I'll leave this them" she said abruptly, letting the pansy fall at her feet. "You won't, you'll be here again waiting like you always do"

How did he know that? She stared at him, digging her fingernails into her skin.

"I know you wanna leave here, I do too, my mannerisms match yours, I am just better at expressing them" Edward says, staring deeply into her green eyes.

"I wouldn't know what I'd be giving up" Talia quickly responded, making him scoff. "Jon? Isn't it? Talia let me know when you're ready. We could start over a story where there is no Agnelli, Nunier, nor Brandis family. Just us" Edward says.

"I barely know you" she says coldly, yet it didn't seem to affect him. "Hm, you barely know Brandis yet the thought of leaving him pains you" Edward tells her. Talia just gives a curt nod.

Little did they know, Felicity was eavesdropping. She always wondered why her brother left every morning to run off too, he had plans that couldn't be made. She had to stop him, and what her mother told her about the Agnelli's she couldn't risk it.

"Come with me when you're ready Agnelli, I know you're conflicted, I know your cure." He cunning sways her, and her breaths get heavier. Her eyes were gleaming with the moonlight, she could hear the lark singing it's song in the distance.

"Continue your walk Nunier" She coldly remarked, closing her window and shutting it with a curtain. Edward smiled to himself, he loved frustrating her.

Felicity's breath hitched as she slowly backed away from the scene, she ran quietly and tried avoid any contact with him. She ran home with information that could change this town forever.

It felt so unreal, she was so alive and now she is dead.

All but her offspring was still here, bound to make the..
