epilouge

People continued to say that children are intelligent due to the lack of corruption in their young minds. Jonathan Brandis and Felicity Nunier were victims of a child's mind being unkind due to the cruel monster named depression, who had no true victim in mind to infect, it just wanted to kill love.

Felicity spent her entire day packing her things, she was happy she was leaving. She wanted to get better, she truly did. She had tried to speak with Daniel today, but he didn't speak. He has been silent ever since the funeral five days ago. Mother thinks he would be like this forever, Felicity thinks that he will be fine, he just needs a new environment and California would definitely break him out of his shell.

The Nunier family was officially leaving Alaska. Mixed emotions fled the town. With the departure of the Edmontons yesterday, people knew the Nunier's soon had to follow. They also say Evangeline is sitting in her manor, decaying as a bitter old woman.

Jonathan walked over at the white gazebo of the previous Edmonton residence. He imagined when he first met Natalia here. Her lying down, silver hair spiraling everywhere. Jonathan looked down at his feet, and many daisies started to grow recently, as tall as ever. He took that as a sign of Natalia's soft presence still looking over him.

As morbid as it sounded, Jonathan felt as if Natalia finally knows what she wants. She is happy, dead. She is with the love of her life forever, buried together. She wasn't confused anymore, she was reunited with her mother she had only glimpsed at seconds after birth.

"I hope you're happy" Jonathan said to her. Although he couldn't see her, he could still feel her soft presence. "Martha she, she left a few flowers for you on your grave" Jonathan said. "She says she hopes you could forgive her"

Jonathan walked up to the gazebo and lied down and Natalia's usual spot. He could nap here if he wanted, her spirit could end up in his dreams. For he had longed to hear what she had been feeling, if she was happy, if she was satisfied. Suddenly, a daisy and a hyacinth flew on next to Jonathan's hand. He knew the daisy had belonged to Natalia, but the hyacinth he wasn't familiar with.

He felt like Apollo, with a lost lover. Felicity was his lost lover, for she was leaving him and he could do nothing about it. Felicity was his hyacinth, someone he wasn't going to get back no matter how hard he tried because after the deaths, the love wouldn't be the same for her, he respected her decision.

Suddenly, he heard the crunch of leaves coming towards him. He didn't even lift his head up, for he didn't care for anyone at this moment but his daisy and hyacinth.

"I'm about to leave" A soft voice says to him. Jonathan slowly lifts his head to meet with Felicity's big brown eyes, eyes that he loved. "I know" He said to her, his voiced choked up.

"And I wanted to say goodbye to you Jon, because I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I never told you I was going away, I had to let you know, you know?" She rambled on, and he smiled at her.

"I understand Fel, completely." He told her. "We are living in San Diego, with some family members until my parents start their jobs." She explains. "California, you're lucky" He tells her, and she giggles.

"Alaska will always be my home" She said. "Felicity you were born in Canada" He tells her but she laughs. "That doesn't matter! I was raised in Alaska, this is my home" She says happily. The two continued to laugh until they came down from their highs.

"I'm going fo miss you Fel" Jonathan tells her. Felicity smiles at Jonathan and blushes. "I'm going to miss you too Jon" She says to him. Tears started to brim their eyes, Felicity was about to break down but Jonathan quickly ran to her and hugged her tightly.

She reciprocated the hug and cried into his chest. "I love you" She told him. Jonathan felt his heart drop, as much as he loved her, her happiness was the most important in this situation, she needed to leave, and be happy. "I love you more than life itself" Jonathan tells her. He placed a heartfelt kiss onto her lips, and it felt like an entirety that their lips were on one another.

Jonathan didn't want to pull away; but he had too. He pulled away and wiped Felicity's tears. "I will always be with you" Jonathan told her. "After all this time?" She asked him. "Always" he reassured her. As he grabbed her hand, he played the hyacinth in her arms. "Hyacinths are my favorite flowers, Jon" She said through sniffs. The two were interrupted by a loud honk, signaling for Felicity's departure. She clutched the hyacinth in her hands and kissed Jonathan deeply again, he broke the kiss and started to her neck and jaw.

"I have to go" She says. He pulled away and hugged her tightly. "I'll never see you again" Jonathan told her. "I'll never see you again either" She responds.

She pulled away and started to walk back to her house, a little stunned. "Felicity!" Jonathan yelle out and she turns back to him. "I hope you have a wonderful and productive life" He tells her. "I hope you do too" She yells back happily, and continued to walk, still clutching her hyacinth.

Jonathan smiles at the love of his life walking away from him, he knows he would never love a woman like her. That was simply just on that, he started to walk away from the gazebo, glancing back at the daisy that was left and he smiled.

the two teens continued to walk away from one another, and neither of them looked back.

this was their second chance at life

end.
