Chapter 46 : Memories

He had stepped in the manor.

GINNY! It felt so good to hear his voice again, I felt like screaming.

HARRY!!! HARRY!! I'M IN A CELL! HARRY!! I yelled internally, trying to show him what was happening to me.

I felt his heart sink, and I knew he had understood. Ginny. Where are you?

I felt Crabbe's hands unbuttoning my jeans. I was struggling with all my strengh, but it just wasn't enough.
I DON'T KNOW!

GINNY HOLD ON OKAY?! he was clearly in a state of huge panick and I knew he was in the presence of other Death Eaters.

I heard him yell through the bond. He was angry, worried, nervous, panicked, completely stressed, all because of me. I wanted to cry again when I felt lips on my belly.

"Don't touch me!!!" I yelled, but it was completely useless.

I felt a huge wave of disgust in my stomach, and I was sweating.

"Let go of me!!!" I yelled through my tears.

He ignored me again, and pulled my jeans off. Well, he tried. I was struggling and it took him at least two minutes to just take them down. I was throwing kicks everywhere. I knew at some point I had hit his sensitive place, because he had backed away for a few seconds with a groan full of pain, and then slapped me hard. I heard Harry roar in pure anger and hatred through the bond.

Harry.

Gin! but his voice faded and my mind received pictures. Or more like souvenirs. I felt Harry's hands on me again, and his soft breath was tickling my neck. My brain nearly lost it and I was assaulted by pictures, voices, and feelings that came back to my memory.

Crabbe's shouting about my skin burning him was the last thing I heard distinctly.

"Hey Ginny! Catch me!!" Little Ron Weasley shouted before running up the stairs of the Burrow and lock himself in his room, still holding his sister's teddybear.

"Happy birthday Ginny!" The whole family sang as the little girl blew her five candles.

"Ron! Leave your sister alone!" Shouted a visibly angry Molly Wesley. "Wasn't me mum!! It was Fred and George!" Ron cried as his sister slapped his arm.

"I'm gonna marry him!! I'm gonna marry Harry Potter!" 6 year-old Ginny told her oldest brother, who just smiled at his little sis' determination.

"No, Ginny, I can't let you play. Quidditch is too dangerous for you!" Said a very serious Charlie to his little sister. He never knew how much that had hurt her. She objected, but he didn't care. That night, she had took one of the brooms, and sneaked up outside. There was no way she was the only one not flying. There was no way she was being left out again. Flying was wonderful.

"Mummy when will I go?" The little girl asked her mother, as they watched Percy, Bill and Charlie leave together to go to Hogwarts. "Soon enough, dear. Don't worry."

Ginny sat at her little desk, and watched through the window, wondering what Harry Potter could be doing at this right moment. Was he eating? Sleeping? With friends? With.. a girl? She sighed. He didn't even know she existed. But she didn't care. She vowed to marry him. She would. There was no doubt. Was it?

"Merry Christmas!" Ginny smiled as she opened her last present. In the box, she found her bright red Weasley jumper. She had always loved those jumpers. It was a ritual. And she already had 8 jumpers like that one, all with the same "G" on it.

Ginny opened the door that leaded to the garden, broom in hand, and closed it behind her. Even though it was a cold winter night, she was ready to fly.

The Weasleys were walking towards platform 9 3/4 at King's cross. The twins were fooling around like always when a small boy, who looked shy and lost, came up to them. Ginny didn't see him coming, and was surprised when she heard a voice. "Excuse me?" The little girl turned around to face a boy. She first noticed his eyes. They were emerald green, and she had never seen such beautiful shade of green before. Her attention was then draged to his messy black hair. That, she thought, was the most peculiar, and beautiful face she had ever seen.
The boy left crossed the barrier with Ron soon after.

"Mum guess what? Guess who we just met on the train?" Fred said. "You know that black haired boy who was near us on the station? Know who he is?" George added. "Who" Asked their mum. "Harry Potter!" Ginny couldn't help herself. "Oh, mum, can I go on the train and see him, mum oh please.." . But her mum just refused, and told her that the poor boy wasn't something you goggle at the zoo.

The little red headed girl sat at her desk, placed the little diary on its wooded surface. She had found it when she had unpacked her books, meaning as soon as she got home from Diagon Alley. She took her brand new quill, and wrote her name in the first page. Much to her confusion, however, the words disappeared as soon as the quill left the paper. Her heart began to race when letters reappeared on the page. She read 'Hello Ginny, my name is Tom.'

Ginny nearly fainted in excitement when she put her trunk in the Hogwarts Express for the first time in her life. Though she knew she was going to miss her family, she couldn't wait to spend a wonderful year at the Wichtcraft and Wizardry school. Her mum checked everything again, cried, and hugged her, before wondering where Harry and her own son were.

"GRYFFINDOR!!!" The sorting had shouted to the Great Hall, and Ginny, even though she was intimidated by all the faces that were turned toward her and the cheers at the Gryffindor table, smiled proudly.

Running to get common room, Ginny couldn't to tell Tom what had just happened. Mrs Norris had been petrified and hung at the wall, and written in blood, just next to the car, 'The Chamber of Secret has been opened. Enemies of the hair, beware.' She told Tom how she was probably sleeping while this all happened, for she woke up in her dorm just before everyone discovered the crime scene.

His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled road,
His hair is as dark as a blackboard.
I wish I was mine, he's really divine,
The hero who conquered the Dark Lord.

Ginny's heart missed a bit when she realised that she was alive. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was still in the chamber. "Ginny." The little girl turned around to find two tired emerald green eyes looking at her, full of worry and concern. He was covered in blood and dirt, and was holding a sword.

Egypt was probably one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The Weasley family was amazed by the pyramids and how the Egyptians wizards from the Antiquity used to live. But what Ginny loved the most, was that her whole family was there. Everyone. All together.

Everyone was running in Hogwarts corridors, whispering things about Sirius Black, the so called mass murderer, who had been sighted in the castle.

The Quidditch Match Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff was going quite well -except for the weather of course- when a body fell from the clouds high speed. Ginny let out a scream as she realized who it was.

Ginny sighed in envy as she watched Harry fly on his brand new Firebolt. How she wished she had the same. And how handsome Harry was.

The Great Hall grew quiet. Harry? How could he..? No. He didn't put his name in the goblet. He would never do that. Ginny felt the indignation rise in her chest as she heard everyone calling him a cheater. They were all silly assholes that were jealous and that didn't realize Harry didn't want anything that ever happened to him.

"I.. I already told Neville I'd go with him." Ginny said before she ran out of the common room. Everything had happened so fast. Neville had asked her. Harry had asked Cho, but got rejected. And he could have gone with her.. but she had already promised Neville she'd be his date.

"You should go out with him. Maybe you being you and going out with other guys could make him realise you are a girl. And a wonderful one." Hermione told the youngest Weasley, who had been asked out by Michael Corner right after the Yule Ball. Of course, she would rather go with Harry, but Michael seemed like a nice guy. "I don't think so, Hermione, but I'll say yes anyway." Her friend sighed. "You two are more alike than you think. If only he could see that.. you just need to be you around him."

Everyone was waiting. There were only two champions left in the maze. Cedric and Harry. The time was passing by and soon the crowd wondered where they could be. Harry.. please be safe. Ginny thought, when all of the sudden, Cedric and Harry were laying on the grass. Everyone smiled, but it took only a few seconds to realize that Cedric wasn't moving, and Harry was sobbing over his body.

Voldemort was back.

Sirius Black was nothing like Ginny had imagined, or what she had seen from the "wanted" posters that could be seen everywhere. He was nice, funny, clever, and quite handsome, for all he had been through and twelve years in Azkaban. Ginny took a liking to him, and understood why Harry loved his godfather so much.

It was with a satisfied grin that Ginny came back to her dorm that night. They would learn to fight. They would break the rules right under the old hag's nose. How satisfying.

Arthur Weasley smiled at his family, and his daughter couldn't help but smile. He was alive. He was here. He would be alright.

Ginny felt the need to punch something, but acted calm. She didn't understand why, over the hundred of girl that would love to go on a date with him, Harry asked Cho. Like, seriously, they couldn't be more different. Whatever, she didn't even know why she cared. After all, she didn't have a crush on him anymore, and she had Michael. Well.

"Give me the prophecy." Was all Ginny understood before the fighting began. Pain in her ankle, pain in her head. But nothing stopped her from fighting.

Harry was a wreck. She could see it. Sirius' death had crushed him. And worse, Ginny couldn't do anything to make Harry feel better.

"Would you..Like to go out with me? I mean.. have you thought about it?" Dean asked for the hundredth time this week. But this time, I smiled. "Yeah. Sure."

Brown eyes stated at the green eyes boy. He sure had acted strangely since he came here that summer. Maybe Sirius' death had changed him a bit. She hoped he was just feeling better. Gosh, she thought, get a hold of yourself, Ginny.

Blush covered her cheeks as she caught him staring at her. What was going on with her? Why was she imagining things? She was with Dean for Merlin's sake.

The cup. They had won. The party. Harry. His arms. His eyes. His lips. Ginny Weasley was in heaven.

Ginny's heart fell. Or course she had expected that. But what would happen now? Would they ever have other times like they had had that year? Would she ever see his face lit up with a loving smile again? Would he be okay? Ginny sighed. Stupid noble reasons.

Happy birthday Harry.

"I won't. " the redhead said simply. Her voice was determined, even though she was aware that they would beat her for that. She didn't care. She would rather be beaten to death than doing it. She simply couldn't do it anyway. They were innocent. And she wouldn't use an unforgivable curse on innocent first years. And screw the Carrows.

"Shut  up! Idiot." Amycus spat at me. I didn't even what I had done to be punished again. They had just brought me in the dungeons."Where is he?!" The other asked harshly. "Who?!" I asked. "Your little Potter friend." "How could I know? We don't receive any letters here." They both let out an non amused laughed. "We know from some sources that you two are quite fond of each other. Surely he told you where he would go." "Even if I knew anything, I would never tell you anything. " I said. "Come on Weasel." They said. "If he really loved you he would have told you. He would have take you with him. But he didn't, right?" "You don't know anything." I simply said.

He was there. Alive. He was looking at her. She smiled, she didn't care if there was danger, for now he was here. He didn't die. And he was still looking at her.

The sight made Ginny's stomach twirl. How could this happen? How could he have left? George was bending over his dead brother. Nobody had ever seen him in such a pain. He wasn't even sobbing. The pain was so unbearable.. crying was not enough. He just stood there with a blank face. His gaze was empty. How could life be so cruel?

"Harry Potter is dead." This was the last words Ginny heard clearly. The world around seemed to disappear. He was there. Lying on the ground. The thing she had dread the most the whole year. The thing that gave her horrible and terrifying nightmares. The thing that sometimes kept her from eating. The thing that had now paralyzed her. Harry's death. No.. it couldn't be..He wasn't.. No.. "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed desperately, as she began to race towards his dead form. Someone grabbed her by the waist, to keep from getting to Harry. Her Harry. "HARRY!!!!!" She screamed again, as tears rolled down her cheeks. "HARRY!!!!!!"

"I'm so sorry" he said in a low voice, full of regret, tiredness, and guilt. She couldn't stand it. She punched him in the arm. Once twice. Again. Again. "HOW DARE YOU HARRY JAMES POTTER!! " she shouted as tears were now rolling down her face. She didn't mean to cry so much in one day. But she didn't care. Not today. "HOW DARE YOU LET ME THINK YOU WERE DEAD!!! DONT YOU DARE TRYING TO APOLOGIZE!! YOU...you...you were dead..." She tried to say more, but she couldn't. She just broke down, and Harry caught her. He was there for her. As she would be there for him, from now on. She would let him feel guilty about anything. "This will never be your fault, wether you like it or not. So don't you ever apologize again about this victory."

"DOWN!!" She heard Harry's voice. A lot of spella were shot, and then, out of nowhere, shot right at her- "OBLIVIATE!"

Wow, this is the longest chapter in this book so far. Hope you like it anyway. ❤
