A/n: Thank you for reading my fanfiction!!! I am just happy that there are still people supporting my book even if it had a lot of setbacks while I was writing it! 2 more chapters and this book's done. :)

It was a huge surprise for Severus when he discovered that Charlie arrived back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Sirius Black after he arrived inside Dumbledore's Office as he didn't much expect that he would be in the school so quickly and be allowed to get out of Azkaban earlier than the other heinous Death Eaters locked up in there.  

The whole office was intense and dark, most of all, Sirius doesn't trust him and so, after he arrived, he complained to Albus immediately. "Why have you allowed that Death Eater to take care of Harry? He might have spoiled the boy's mind! Care to tell me why you allowed James's son to be his guardian?"

Severus didn't let Dumbledore be the one to explain. "As expected of a man who once bullied me, you don't trust me, do you? It looks like it would be far better for you if he was taken care of by a mudblood relative, aren't you?"

Sirius was confused. "Mudblood Relative?" 

Charlie closed his eyes, then, he narrated to him how he was able to free Sirius Black from Azkaban. "The rat we named Scabbers will never go back here and to my younger brother as I chose to take him to prove Sirius's innocence. As much as I hate stealing him, I had to do it since he wasn't a rat but the Animagus of Peter Pettigrew. My younger brother, Ron, will never be able to find him again as I was able to catch him at the Forbidden Forest."

"Can you attest to me that what Charlie Weasley said is true?" Dumbledore asked Sirius. "Is Peter Pettigrew truly the person who betrayed Lily and James?"

Sirius sighed uncomfortably. "It's true, Professor Dumbledore, but I still want to blame myself since I trusted him to be their secret keeper, and so, they may have not died if I chose to be their

"Can you please leave the office, Charlie?" Dumbledore ordered him. "Let us now talk about an important business alone, and yes, before you leave, I want to congratulate you on your successful mission in freeing an innocent man."

Charlie kissed his ring, then, left his office with pride in his heart.

Just a few moments after Charlie Weasley left the room, things between Sirius and Snape turned too deadly that Dumbledore acted as a moderator between the two men who were very much attached to Harry Potter, most of all, both of them wanted to be the one to take care of him and they may have fought using wands so intensely if they weren't in Dumbledore's office due to the entire pressure that both of them feel.  

"It is my right to take care of Harry!" Sirius screamed. "I am his godfather!" 

Snape gripped his arms tight. "The boy had been with me since he was one year old, and he sees me as his father! I do believe that I have the right to take care of him!" 

"What kind of a joke is this, Severus?" Sirius cackled vehemently. "Are you insane to take care of James's son? Have you not remembered who his father is? How can I trust you that you won't make him into a Death Eater like you?"

"They believe that it is my goal to turn him into a Death Eater and he is going to be safer with me rather than with you!" Snape held Sirius's shirt tightly. "Wasn't it safer for the child to stay with me rather than to you? He'll be much safer with me since his aunt's with me! He's safe as long as Lily's sister's with me!" 

Sirius glared at Dumbledore. "How can James's son be safe with this man? Don't you remember what kind of evil he unleashed? Have you forgiven his atrocities?"

"Severus had become my spy, Sirius," Dumbledore told him. "He is neither a Death Eater nor a member of the Order of the Phoenix."

"We have no time screaming at each other like kids here, Professor Dumbledore!" Snape said to him. "I have a class and it is my job to teach the young students, here."

Dumbledore walked closer to the young adult men before him. "You may go, Severus, and as promised, Harry will stay with you."

"Why can't you just give him to me, Professor Dumbledore? Aren't I his father's friend?" Sirius protested again. "How can I do my job as his godfather if he is with the man that I hate?"

Snape was about to leave the room when he froze to where he was standing when he heard what Dumbledore told Sirius: "He is a changed man ever since James and Lily passed away. Most of all, he became Harry's adopted father the time he carried him as a baby. He had indeed chosen the dark side in the past but he is a lost child who returned to the light. Shouldn't we let Severus and Harry be together as father and son? Ten years had already passed and the child knew him as his guardian. It will be inhumane to separate them and give you Harry with whom he did not know."

Snape continued to walk out of the door and deep in his heart, he was happy that Dumbledore didn't give Harry to Sirius. It will be very difficult for him if the child won't be in his protection anymore.

Dumbledore sat back again at his wooden seat in his office with Sirius who still seemed to be very disappointed as he wanted to have Harry with him but after careful consideration, he understood his decision. "Snape's very close friends with Lily's sister? Is that the reason why they have to live in the Muggle's world every school break?"

Dumbledore nodded, then, he enclosed his hands together and looked deep into his eyes. "You're a free man now, and so, what do you want to do? Can I ask where you plan to live"

Sirius walked to and fro after he heard his question as it was only at that time that it finally occurred to him that he won't be back in a cell again or even hide from dementors. "Can I be your Auror? Do you have any open position here in Hogwarts?"

Dumbledore tapped his table with his fingers gently as he began to think about what job he can give him. "Will it be alright with you if you help Hagrid in taking care of the creatures in the Hogwarts Magical Creatures Reserve?"

"Why would that be my job?" Sirius raised his left eyebrow. "Can you tell me why?"

"That is the only open position that I currently can give you since you will also be able to protect the students because of your animagus ability." Dumbledore had a huge grin on his lips after that. "Even so, if you choose to reject it, you can try looking for a job in the Ministry of Magic."

Sirius stood proudly in front of him. "Alright! I'll take that job!"

"Good!" Dumbledore rose and walked away from his seat. "I'll let you meet Harry, today"
