CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE THE PEACE IS BACK

(A/N: The final chapter guys, prepare yourself)

Flashback start....

Maddie and Five was laying in the bed, cuddling.

"How about we go out tonight. Just you and me. Without the kids?" Maddie asked "How about we just gave them away?" Five joked "The kids?" she asked "Yeah" he chuckled "There is no one that wants them" she smiled "Then I can have you all for myself" Five kissed her ear "No, you will miss them" she smiled "Not the first year" Five joke as he kissed her neck.

"I love how you smell" he said "It's my new shampoo" she said "You wear it good" Five kissed her shoulder "And sweat" you smiled "Then we better get you in the shower" he then lifted her up in bridestyle.

"How about work?" you asked "It can wait. I have something I need to do, something more important" he looked at her with a flirting look before carriyng her to the shower.

Flashback end...

"Love....Maddie, wake up, please don't leave me, please, I love you and I need you, Noa and Sam need their mom, don't leave us" Five sob as he was holding his wife's body inn his arms.

"Please don't go where I can't follow. Please come back to me, to us"

Maddie could hear Five's faded voice.

She opened her eyes to see Five's worried face looking at her while all her siblings were leaning over her and they all breath out in relieved when they saw her opened her eyes.

"Thank god" Five breath out in relieved as tears was in his eyes "Did we do it?" she asked "We did it, the creature is dead and you're back" Five said.

"Oh God" Maddie remember what she did "I'm so sorry" she sob "It's okay" they all said "We are just glad you're back" Viktor said.

"Freddy" Maddie turned around and her eyes widened when she saw Freddy laying against Lila's chest who was holding him.

"He is not breathing" she looked at the others with tears in her eyes "No" Maddie got up before she stumble over to to Freddy.

"Please no" Maddie sob as everyone started having tears in his eyes "You can't leave, not when we just got you back" Klaus sob "Come on, you're too strong to die like that" Five said "He can't be death. Freddy is like a cat, he just have a thousand lives instead" Lila said. 

As everyone was crying over Freddy, some bright light started shining through the sky window and it shined right on Freddy who started glowing.

Then the light started lifting Freddy up in the air while Maddie and the others all watch with widened eyes.

"What is happening?" Lila asked "I think it's the guardian's power" Five said.

Freddy's body started glowing even more before he jolted up with a gasp, coming back to life.

Freddy looked at his body as the light slowly put him down on the floor again.

"What the...." 

"You're alive" Maddie rushed over before hugging her best friend "And you're back, I'm so glad" he said "I'm so sorry" she said "Don't be" he said before they pulled away.

Then Lila and the rest came over to hug Freddy "I knew you weren't dead" Diego smiled.

"Is it over?" Klaus asked "Well, the creature is dead, but let's see" Freddy said before him and the others walked out of the mall.

When they exit they saw bodies laying around as all the agents from the Commission was standing around the area.

"Guys" Freddy said and seven people turned around to look at him.

"Is it over?" Freddy asked "Yeah" they nodded "They didn't stood a chance" the woman with the red hair said "They thought they took take us out, but they were so wrong, we didn't even lost one" the woman with the black hair said "We tried to get them to surrender, but they refuse, they were so stubborn" the guy with the cowboy hat said.

"Gene and Jean?" Freddy asked "They're dead" the guy with the honey brown eyes said and the others all looked over at Gene's and Jean's dead bodies.

"Fred" Maddie said and Freddy looked at the siblings "Right, sorry, guys this is my other family, the might warriors or the deadly warriors as we were called when we were kids" Freddy gestured to the woman with the red hair, the woman with the black hair, the guy with the cowboy hat and the guy with the honey brown eyes.

Five's and Lila's eyes widened "So this is them" they said and Freddy nodded "This is Liam" he pointed on the guy with the cowboy hat "This is Miguel" he pointed on the guy with the honey brown eyes that was holding Liam's hand. "This is Sky" he pointed on the woman with the dark hair "And this is my twin sister Millie" Freddy pointed on the woman with the red hair.

"Well, you look alike, so of course she would be your twin" Maddie smiled.

"This is Millie's son Luca" he pointed on a young kid that was next to Millie.

"This is JJ, my student and second" he pointed on a young guy with short black hair.   

"And this is my girlfriend Sydney" he pointed on a woman with yellow hair.

"See I told you that you would get a second chance in love" Maddie said and Freddy smiled before he looked at Mille and the others. 

"Guys, this is the family I told you about. My other family, the Umbrella Academy" Freddy introduce them "We have heard so much about you, so nice to finally meet you" Liam said with a smile and every all greeted each other.

But Millie just narrowed her eyes at Five.

"Millie are you okay?" Freddy asked his sister "You" Millie hissed as she looked at Five

Before everyone could reach to react, Millie pulled up her gun before shooting Five right in the chest and the stomach causing him to let out a grunt as he fell to the ground while everyone let out a gasp.

"FIVE!" Maddie rushed to her husband's side whose chest and stomach was bleeding so much that the spot around the wounds was already red.

"Oh my god Five" Viktor and the siblings rushed to their brother's side.

"What the hell?" Lila snapped at Millie "Why Millie?" Liam asked "Why the hell is going on with you?" Freddy push his sister away.

"Are you defending him" Millie said "Of course I am" Freddy said "Also after what he did" Millie said "What are you talking about?" Freddy asked as Maddie and the others was trying to stop the bleeding "Tie it here" Viktor pointed "Hang on buddy, you are gonna make it, you are a tough son of a bitch, so you are gonna make it" Diego said while Maddie was holding Five's hand as her other hand was pressing against one of the wound causing her hand to get covered in blood.

"Maddie" Five said as blood started to run out of his mouth "I'm here" she said "I want to tell you something, I want to ap--" "You can apologize later, you're gonna make it, you had survive worse" Maddie said.

"That guy killed my husband and Luca's dad" Millie said "What?" everyone looked at Millie.

"Jeremy Henderson was my husband, and The Handler which was his mother signed the kill order on him because he abandoned his mission and went against her order and she signed his kill order and that little shit killed him" tears was in Millie's eyes.

"So since the Handler is dead, I just need to kill the last one that killed the love of my life" Millie was about to walked towards Five.

But then Freddy got in between them "That is enough Millie. Five didn't kill your husband. The Handler was the one that order him to do it, he only followed orders. So the real person behind the bullet is The Handler and she is dead" he said "I don't care, he was still the one that did it" Millie said "I will not let you kill him" he said "Do you really think you can stop me?" Millie asked before she looked at Five. "Maybe I should kill his wife, so that little shit knows how it feels" she hissed.

She took a step closer but Freddy push her away "I will not let you hurt any of them" he said "I would like to see you stop me" Millie said.

The two stared at each other before they both in a second and at the same time drew their guns, pointing on each other causing everyone to widened their eyes.

"It only take one bullet" Freddy said "You ain't got the nerves" Millie said, stepping closer but then Freddy lifted the gun before he pointed it at her forehead "Try me" he threatened and her eyes widened.

The only place was in silence, was Freddy really going to shoot his sister, his own flesh and blood.

"So you have chosen side, and you choose those instead of choosing your own flesh and blood" Millie said "I don't choose anyone over the other, but I choose justice over revenge and I choose right from wrong" he said before he cocked the gun.

"I don't think you will shoot me" Millie shook her head lightly "Not your own sister" she said

"I can shoot an enemy and you will become my enemy if you harm one more hair on Five's or the others' head" Freddy said before the two looked into each other's eyes.

"I really don't want to do this, but if it's to protect one of my best friend and someone that have being like a brother to me, then I will do it" Freddy said and Millie stared at him "Don't make me do this, sis. This is not what dad would have wanted" he said.

When Millie looked into his eyes, she could see that he didn't want to shot her but he would if she tried to hurt Five.

"Listen, I know how you feel like, I have being in your shoes, revenge, anger, and obsession can make you do things you never thought you were capable of. 'Cause you to take chances, make mistakes and it turn you into something you are not. You all know how I went on journey to find the people that killed dad. Revenge almost killed me, turn me into a killer without emotions, my heart almost sank into the darkness and I was almost lost in the darkness long enough so I become a part of it and I almost lost my emotions and heart. And I'm not going to let you go down that road, so if the only way to stop you going down that road is to kill you, then yeah, I would kill you if it means saving you" Freddy said as he stared right back at her.

"Millie, stop" a voice said and Millie looked to the right to see Lila getting up.

"Is me. Is Lila, Jeremy's sister" Lila said and Millie's eyes widened "Lila, what are you doing here?" she asked "I'm with them. Listen, I know how you feel right now. Five killed my parents and I wanted revenge, I wanted to kill him, but then I found out who the real killer was. Who the person behind the trigger was. The Handler, the woman that raise me was the one that ordered Five to kill my parents, just because she wanted me, another loyal soldier to follow her. The Handler was the one that order Five to kill Jeremy. So is her fault" Lila said "I don't care, he was the one that did it. Is his fault" Millie said looking back at Five.

"Then is my fault" Lila said and Millie looked at her "I was the one that told The Handler where Jeremy was. Him and I got into a fight and I was jealous that Jeremy was spending more time with you, so I told the Handler about you guys. I thought that she was going to leave you alone, but she betrayed me. So if you are going to blame or shoot anyone, shoot me" Lila said.

"Don't go down that way, sis. Revenge is like a poison. It can take you over before you know it. It turn you into something ugly. Sometimes is not bullet that does the killing. Is the one behind the trigger and The Handler was the one behind the trigger. Is her fault and she is dead now" Freddy said.

Millie glanced at her brother and Lila before she looked back at Five and she noticed how him and Maddie looking at each other. That look they sent each other, it remind about how her and Jeremy was.

"Mom" Millie turned to look at her twelve-year-old son.

Millie let out a small sob as she drop the gun which cause Freddy to put his gun in his holster again.

"Five, please stay with me" Maddie sob as she could feel that he was slowly fading away.

"Freddy, he is dying" Maddie said and Freddy rushed over to them. "Heal him" Viktor said "I can't, my powers are still down after the fight" Freddy said "Let's take him to the hospital" Luther said "Let's go"

(A/N: I actually had plan to stop spilt up the chapter here, but since it was the last two, I decided to not spilt them up)

Maddie and the others was all sitting in the hospital waiting room, all waiting impatient.

"Anyone here for Five Hargreeves Delany" a nurse said "That's us" Maddie and the others got up "Is he okay?" Maddie asked "He is stable, but he lost a lot of blood, and since he have a rare blood type, we need a donor, so if any of you---" "We will" Maddie and the others cut the nurse off.

"We will take some blood for each of you, and then we will find out which one has the same blood type as Mr. Five" the nurse said and they except for Maddie since she was pregnant, all donated some of their blood.

After that the nurse find one who had the same blood type as Five and after givng him the blood, he was now getting surgery.

Few hours later Maddie and the others could finally see Five.

"Hey" they all walked into the hospital room he was in "There is the tough son of a bitch" Diego joked "Hey" Five said "I'm sorry for my behavior, Lila and I talk. And I'm sorry for letting my anger out on you, you were a victime, just as well as I was" Diego said "It's okay, I forgive you, but you really were an asshole" Five said and Diego chuckled.

After everyone had hugged Five, looked at Maddie who was standing on his left side.

"Hey Love, or am I not allow to call you that anymore" he said and she tilted her head.

"I'm so so sorry for everything Maddie, I never meant to hurt you. I should have pulled away but I---" he was cut off by her kissing him.

"Just shut up" she said and he smiled before they kissed again, the two pulled away as they had their head rested against each other.  

A knock on the door was heard and a nurse walked in "You are recovering pretty fast Mr. Hargreeves Delany, so you can already get home tomorrow" the nurse said "That's good" Maddie smiled.

"There is also something else" she looked down at her file.

"What is it?" Maddie asked "Each of you gave blood, and since you all told me that you're not blood relative, I found out that one of you are blood relative to Mr. Five Hargreeves Delany, or at least half blood relative, one of you share either the same mother or father" she said.

"Who?" Maddie asked.

"You, Mr. Turner" everyone turned to Freddy whose eyes widened.

"What?" Five and Freddy looked at each other "It turns out that the two of you are half brothers, you either share the same mother or father" the nurse said.

"Okay, I didn't see that coming" Klaus said "Bloody plot twist" Lila said "Didn't expect that" Diego said while Five and Freddy looked at each other.

"So that means that the two us are----" "It actually makes a bit sense" the two nodded.

"We must share the same mom, after she had Millie and I and after leaving the Commission, she must have travel back to her home Ireland to the year 1988, and then gave birth to you a year later" Freddy said "Yeah, that makes sense" Five nodded.

"Well, I can see it, you have some connection, plus you have the same eyes" Maddie said.

"Woah, our family just got a whole lot bigger" Klaus said and the others chuckled.

Seven months later.

(A/N: Play Time of our lives by Tyrone Wells if you want 'cause that sound is being played in the background here at the end. Also the song fit so well for the show ending) 

After the fight against the Cleanse, the timeline actually got restore. Five check the subway system to find the map is back to a single timeline and no more subways are coming or going which mean all the other timelines was gone. So everything was back to normal.

Diego and Lila fix their marriage by becoming contract vigilantes basically and letting their kids be primarily raised by their grandparents but they spend more time with their kids.

 But they would spend more time with their kids and each other.

Lila partners with Diego sometimes, but also hosts a book club at other times to keep her independence.

Maddie was putting the last plate on the table as she had at the table for the family dinner.

Her, Five and the kids have just came back home from a four months of another one of Maddie's tour.

Then she felt Five's hands around her before moving down to her seven months pregnant belly.

"I love you, always and forever" he said and she smiled before she turned around so she was facing him "I love you too" she smiled and he put his hands on her bump.

"I can't believe that we are having another kid, and twins. A boy and a girl" he said "Yeah, I can't wait to meet them" she said "Me either, but you know that we're gonna be outnumber for sure now" he said and she chuckled "We will handle it" she said before they kissed.

"EWW" Noa and Sam said as they entered the diner room which cause Five and Maddie to pull away.

Then it rang on the door bell "The first one had arrive" Five turned before him and Maddie walked over to open the main door.

"Hey" Lila and Diego smiled as they had Grace and the twins with them.

"Are we late?" Lila asked "You're early" Maddie smiled "Come in" the couple step aside as Lila, Diego and their kids enter.

"Grace" Noa ran over to Grace before hugging her "Come with me and see my new toys that I got for my birthday" he said and the two rushed into the living room to play.

"Woah, sis, you are really showing now" Diego said "Yeah, can't hide it now" Maddie said "Have you came up with names?" Lila asked "No, not really, we know that the girl's name would be Raven" Maddie said "And I was thinking about Ryan for the boy but will have Ben as a middle name, but we will see" Five said.

Diego looked at Five "Thanks again man, for getting me into the CIA" he said "Of course. Now with Lance gone I'm the new boss of the CIA" Five smiled.

It didn't take long before, Viktor, Luther, Klaus, Allison and Claire arrived.

"Where is Kodi?" Lila asked "He texted me, telling me that he would bring Sydney, Liam and Miguel but he also told me that he something to pick up" Maddie said.

Then the door bell rang and Five walked over to open the door to see Freddy with Sydney, Liam and Miguel.

"Hey bro" Freddy and Five smiled to each other as they gave each other a quick hug.

"I'm glad you could come" Five said "I wouldn't miss this family dinner for the world" Freddy said "What about the others?" Five asked "Sky and JJ wanted to keep an eye on the Commission and Mille is still you know, she still want to keep a distance from you, it might take her some time to get use to all...." Freddy said and Five nodded before he looked at Miguel and Liam "Welcome" Five said "Thank you" the two said "We wanted to get to know more about this family that Kodi kept telling us about" Liam said "Well, come on in" Five step aside.

"By the way, is there room for four more?" Freddy asked and Five nodded "Yeah, since we are eating in the diner room, there is more than enough by the table, so we can set up for four more, why?" Five asked and Freddy looked to the right "Come on guys, show yourself" he said and Five's eyes widened when he saw who it was.

"No way"   

Maddie and the other was all the diner room talking and laughing.

"Love, we need to set the table up for four more" Five said "Why?" Maddie and the other turned.

Viktor, Luther and Klaus stared in shock as their eyes widened.

"No way" they said.

In front of the family stood Dave, Harlan as a kid, Sissy and Sloane.

"Dave" 

"Klaus" 

"Sissy, Harlan" 

"Viktor"

"Sloane"

"Luther"

(A/N: Surprise. I decided to bring Sloane, Sissy, Harlan and Dave back. You didn't see that coming did you?;)

Sloane and Luther smiled to each other as they rushed towards each other before kissing while Viktor rushed towards Sissy before kissing her while Klaus rushed towards Dave before hugging him.

"How?" they all pulled away "Thanks Freddy" Sloane looked at Freddy "I might have made some few changes when we restored the timelines. You all deserve to be with the one you loved the most" Freddy said.

Luther, Klaus and Viktor walked over to hugged Freddy "Thank you so much" they said "No need to thank me, I just did what every friend and family member would do" Freddy said.

"Let's all eat" Maddie smiled as her and Five had sat the table for four more. 

They all sat down before they started eating while talking.

This is where the chapter ends
A new one now begins
Time has come for letting go
The hardest part is when you know

Five put his hand on Maddie's bump again, stroking his thumb up and down before he looked at his wife and the two shared a kiss, while Diego and Lila did the same as Luther and Sloane did it too and Viktor and Sissy did the same, so did Liam and Miguel and Dave and Klaus as Sydney and Freddy did the same.

All of these years when we were here are ending
But I'll always remember

They all talking while laughing, having some lovely family time.

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned
The stories we will write
We have had the time of our lives

Allison and Claire was sitting on the couch watching a movie while eating popcorn.

And I will not forget the faces left behind
It's hard to walk away from the best of days

Both Diego and Lila was working at the CIA.

Where the water meets the land
There is shifting in the sand
Like the tide that ebbs and flows
Memories will come and go

Klaus and Dave was unpacking boxes in their new apartment. Then their plan was to travel around the world, stumbling upon other specials, sending them to training or resources. Then they were planning adopte a baby.

All of these years when we were here are ending
But I'll always remember

Viktor and Sissy was working in Viktor's bar in Canada together while Harlan was drawing by a table. 

Viktor was providing solace to patrons and having a quiet life, but as a resources for removing marigold for any of the other specials in the world that want to be normal.

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned
The stories we will write

Luther and Sloane was dancing together in the living room at the Academy. Sloane had her head rested against Luther's chest as they were slow dance to the music that was being played in the background. Their plan is actually to open their own Academy. And they also wanted to start a family of their own.

We have had the time of our lives
And I will not forget the faces left behind
It's hard to walk away from the best of days
But if it has to end, I'm glad you have been my friend
In the time of our lives

Maddie and Five was sitting by the kitchen table together with their kids, playing a board game as they were talking while laughing.

We say goodbye, we hold on tight
To these memories that never die

After that Maddie and Five sat down on the couch in the living room, Maddie's side leaned against Five's chest, his arm around her and on her baby bump while the two was watching their kids playing on the floor with their toys.

Freddy was standing on the balcony in his office looking down at the new recruits training out on the big yard.

We have had the time of our lives
And now the page is turned

Sydney walked out before she put her hand on top of his and he looked at her before he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

We have had the time of our lives
And I will not forget the faces left behind

Even so the family still had their powers, they didn't use them to much. They saw each other at every Thanksgiven, birthday and Christmas.

It's hard to walk away from the best of days
But if it has to end, I'm glad you have been my friend
In the time of our lives

Each member of the family were all living a happy life. Knowing that they were living a life they all deserve and wanted. Getting a happy life and a happy ending.
