CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO: BACKUP

(A/N: Just wanted to let you that, Five is not going to blink away and go to the subway, find the diner with many versions of him and then have a talk with one of them. Even so I like that scene, I just couldn't fit it in this story. So therefore it will not happen. Hope you guys don't mind)

Five was sitting in Diego's van with the others as Diego was driving towards the place.

He looked at Lila who was sitting next to him "Why are you helping me?" he asked.

"I owe you, Five. You backed that ridiculous subway plan of mine, even though it got us into a mess. You stood by me, even when I was too stubborn to admit I was wrong. You helped me see it, now I'm helping you get your wife back" she said "Best sister-in law I could ask for" Five said "Yeah, despite our rocky start" Lila said.

Five then closed his eyes "Please be okay" he whispered.

"Five" suddenly Five found himself in his mind and he knew that Maddie was using her telepathy powers.

"Maddie" he turned to see his wife "I'm sorry but I had to do this" she said "No, please, we're on our way, I have even contacted Freddy and we will fix this, I promise, just hold on a bit longer" he said.

She just smiled "Take care of the kids for me, tell them that I love them and I will always be with them" she said "Love---" but he didn't reach to say anything when suddenly he came back to his senses.

"Diego, drive faster, Maddie is going to do this" Five said "How do you know that?" Luther asked "I just talk to her?" Five asked "How?" Allison asked "With her telepathy powers. She can often use in tandem with her remote viewing abilities. When she has located her target, she can choose to communicate with them mentally. But she have to had some strong connection to that person for her to really do it" Five explain said and Diego pressed the speeder.

But then suddenly he stop when he saw the army "Well, that doesn't look good" Luther said.

"Quick, back down that alley so we're out of sight" Allison said to Diego who was sitting next to her.

Diego got ready to back but instead the van drove forward.

"Diego!" Allison said "Back up, you idiot!" Five hissed "What are you doing?" Allison asked "Back up" Five said "I'm trying" Diego said "What?" Luther and Allison asked as Diego tried to put the van in back gear.

"Come on, you piece of shit" Diego hissed but the van kept driving forward towards the army.

Diego hit the front which made the radio to start playing baby shark which cause the army to look at them.

"What are you doing?" Klaus asked "Hit the brakes!" Lila said "I'm trying!" Diego said as he tried to hit the breaks but the van kept driving.

"It's not working!" he shouted.

"Come on, man! You're gonna get us killed!" Klaus said "You're gonna get my wife killed" Five hissed "Now would be an excellent time for somebody to do something!" Klaus said.

As the van kept driving, it slid another car which made the sound of harsh metallic grating to be heard.

"Oh fuck!" Allison pulled the main breaks causing the van to stop "Shit!" Klaus said as they all jolted a little forward.

"God" Klaus said and Diego tried to start the van again causing the engine to start sputtering.

They all turned to the left to see the army who lifted up theirs guns.

"Oh" Five and the others all said as Luther waved awkwardly "Hey" he smiled.

"It seems like your family don't really listen" Gene looked at Maddie "Please don't hurt them" Maddie said "Well, if you can't release the Red Dragon, we are just gonna force it out of you, and since we know that your powers are control by your emotions, we will drive the Red Dragon out of you with anger" Jean smiled "No" Maddie said.

"For the love of God, shoot 'em" Gene said "NO!" Maddie cried out as they all started shooting.

Five and the others reach to ducked down so they didn't get hit as the bullets came flying towards the van.

While dodging the bullets, Five and the others got out of the other side of the van.

"Go! GO! Go!" Luther said as they all took cover behind the van while the army kept shooting at the van.

"Hey! I just replaced those!" Diego shouted "Maybe you shouldn't have cheaped out on the brakes" Five said to him "To be fair, new ceramic pads on a vehicle this old is not a good investment" Luther said "Stop yapping and start doing!" Klaus shouted as he covered his ears.

"Like what? There's too many of them!" Allison shouted before looking at Five "It seems like Freddy have stab us in the back, he is not coming with that army, he is not coming with backup" she said "He will come, we just have to hold on until he does! He has never let us down!" Five shouted at her.

"Five, do the little blinky blinky and get us to another place" Klaus grab Five's right arm.

"That doesn't work anymore" he said "You gotta try, Five" Lila said "I can't, all right?" Five said "I'll mimic your power. We'll do it together" she said "No, you're not doing anything with him" Diego hissed "Diego stop this alright. Nothing is going on between Lila and me okay, get that into your skull" Five said "He is right, I kissed him and he pulled away. I regret it okay, it was a mistake which wouldn't happen again" Lila looked at Diego before she looked back at Five "But you gotta do it Five" she said.

"You of all people know we're gonna end up in the subway" Five said "Do not think about the past" Lila said "If you're gonna do something now would be the time" Allison said "Yeah!" Luther nodded.

"Your family needs you, your wife needs you, she believe in you, so does your kids, show them that you believe in yourself too, if we don't do this, we are not gonna stop this and Maddie will die"  Lila said and Five nodded.

"Hold on to me" he said and Klaus and Lila hold on to Five while Diego hold on to Lila as Luther hold on to Diego and Allison hold on to Luther.

Five took a deep breath before used his powers, and together with Lila they all managed to blink away, appearing inside a shop.

"What the..." they all fell backwards.

Five peek his head out of the window to see the army still shooting at the van "We're in a shop behind them" he said "Good job Five" Klaus said and Five looked around before he spotted Maddie but she was surrounded.

"Why haven't she taken them all down?" Klaus asked "She is scared that she will lose control" Five said "What do you we do?" Luther asked "Okay, we need to take care of the army" Five said.

"How do you expect us to do that?" Luther asked "By using our powers of course" Five glanced at the others "Listen, if we don't do this, we lose the Maddie we all know and love, and we will all die" he said "Let's do this" Diego said "Let's do this" Five said and they all nodded.

"GO!" Five shouted and they all six got out of cover.

(A/N: I made this fight scene because I think we needed more of the family using their powers fighting against the army, since we kinda didn't get that in season four)

Lila shot out her laser eyes on a big tank of gasoline causing it to exploded making the people that was closest to it to flew up in the air with a scream.

Diego ran towards a group of people that started shooting at him but he used his powers controlling the bullets making them turn around before flying towards the group, hitting them making them fall dead on the ground while Klaus used his powers to summer some ghosts that took down a handful people.

Luther ran over to the van and grab it before throwing it a bunch of people.

"Really?" Diego glanced at his brother, not happy over that Luther threw his van.

"It was broken anyway" Luther said "You owe me a new van" Diego pointed at him.

Allison used her powers to take down four people as Lila did the same while Five blink behind a guy, kick him in the knees causing him to fell on his knees and Five then snap his neck.

Even so Five had promised no more killing, he had to in order to save and protect his wife.

He then grab an axe before he blink towards another guy, killing him with the axe.

Maddie watch as Five and the others was fighting against the army using their powers.

But it was like every time they took down one, more and more would come.

"Where are all those guys coming from!" Diego shouted as he took down a guy "I don't know!" Lila shouted as she was bleeding down her forehead and had some cuts and wounds on her face and arms just like the others have.

"How are we gonna take them down!" Allison shouted but suddenly she was knock down from behind causing her to let out a grunt.

"ALLISON!" Klaus shouted but then he was also taken down at the same time Luther was knock to the ground and a group of people surround him while pointing their guns at his face.

Then Lila was shot in the shoulder and the leg causing her to let out a grunt as she fell to the ground.

"LILA!" Diego shouted and tried to run over and save his wife but he was shot in the chest and the waist causing him to fall to the ground.

"NO!" Maddie cried out as she watch her family falling to the ground, injured.

"This is your army?" Gene chuckled "This is really your big plan?" he looked at Maddie.

"No, this is" a voice said and Gene turned around to see Five holding Jean at gun point.

"Call your guys back and let my wife and the others go and I will not kill her" Five said "You wouldn't kill her, you don't have the balls" Gene said "Do you wanna bet?" Five pressed the gun more against Jean's forehead.

Gene and Five stared at each other waiting for the other to made a move.

But suddenly the sound of gunshots was heard and Five let out a gasp as he let go of Jean.

"NOOO!" Maddie cried out as she watch some blood appear on her husband's chest.

Five drop the gun before falling on the ground as Lance walked over to him "You could have avoided this by not stick your nose in where it doesn't belong" Lance said before putting his foot on Five's chest which caused him to let out a grunt.

"Please" Maddie cried "Let them go" she said "We will" Gene said "As soon as you release the Red Dragon in you" Jean said "If you do that we will let them go" Gene said. 

 "Don't do it Love" Five said but then Lance press his foot more against his chest where the gunshot wound was causing Five to grunt in pain.

Maddie knew that if she release the Red Dragon, she might lose control but if she don't, her family would die.

"What is it going to be?" Jean asked.

Then suddenly Maddie heard a familiar whistle, a whistle she have not heard in years and that caused her to smile.

She then started chuckling "What is so funny?" Jean asked and Maddie looked up at them "Do you really think that we would be taken down this easily" she raise a brow.

"What are you talking about?" Gene asked "You're not the only one that called for backup" Five said "What?" Jean asked and Maddie looked up which made Gene and Jean to look up as well, and their eyes widened when they saw a giant light coming towards them.

The two quickly jump away as the giant light landed right in between them and Maddie.

Gene and Jean took their arm above their face to shield themself from the sharp light.

Then suddenly a huge energy wave came out of the light sending the people that was holding the family flying backwards and away from them.

Five let out a gasp as Lance was throwing away from him.

Then four angel wings, one big pair and below that a smaller pair wings folded out of the light and as they did that Five and the others felt their body became warm. Five looked at his gunshot wound to see the bullet falling out as the wound slowly healed before it was gone.

Diego looked at his waist to see his gunshot wound slowly faded away before it was gone while Luther's cut above his eyebrow disappeared as the cuts and wounds on the family healed.

The light faded away and Maddie smiled when she saw who was standing in front of her.

"Freddy" she smiled "Missed me" Freddy smiled which caused Maddie and the others to smile.

"Sorry for the delay but you guys have being busy" Freddy said as he was holding a glowing sword, while two pair of angel wings was on his back, one big pair that was on his back and one smaller pair that just a little bit below the big pair. 

"The Guardian" Gene and Jean stared at Freddy with widened eyes.

"It seems like I just came at the right time" Freddy said "We knew you would come, now help us" Gene said "I didn't came here to help you, I came to help my second family. My best friend" Freddy glanced at Maddie with a smile.

"A guardian and a Red dragon can't be friends, is their fate to fight each other to the death" Gene said "You guys are wrong, you can change your fate and I came here to help Maddie and her family 'cause they are more than my friends, they also my family, and you hurt them, so" Freddy tilted his head.

"Do you really think you stand a chance against us, we have an army" Jean said "I can see that, but I don't have an army I have friends, family, and do you really think I would come alone" Freddy then snap his fingers.

Then many orange portals suddenly appeared. One portal two guys step out. The first guy had a cowboy hat on, he had short light brown hair and brown eyes and he had two pistols in a holster that was wrapped around his waistline.

The other guy had short dark brown and honey brown eyes.

In the the other portal step three people out. A woman with her dark brown black hair in a ponytail and green eyes. 

A woman dress in black with green eyes and ginger hair. Next to her stood a young boy with short brown hair.

In another portal step two people out, a woman with long yellow hair and green eyes and next to her stood a young boy with short black hair.

Jean and Gene looked around and suddenly they saw that their people were surrounded by a bunch of people, more than what Jean and Gene had.

Five got up and he rushed over to Maddie with the others behind him. 

"It seems like you are the one that is outnumber now" Freddy said as he looked at Jean and Gene "Who the hell are you?" Jean asked "I'm Freddy, but my real name is Kodi Turner, the last of the guardians, but I'm also Supreme commander of The Commission which is a company that protect time and space, and you guys are a threat to the timeline, but since I'm a kind guy, I will let you guys go with a warning" Freddy said "We have a way to stop this" Jean said "So do we, beside your way is wrong" Freddy said before he glanced around.

"As long as I'm leader you are not allow within ten feet of Maddie and her family" Freddy said "You can't be leader forever" Jean said.  

"Maddie and her family is under the protection of The Commission, so if you decided to take on me, you take on the Commission" Freddy said and his army step closer to the Keepers.

Freddy then turned to look at Maddie "Go, Viktor is still in danger" Freddy said and Lila and Five nodded before they blink away with Maddie and the others.    

Freddy then turned back to Gene and Jean.

"Best you leave now" Freddy said "Careful kid, you don't want to challenge us" Gene said "I'm not challenging you two, I'm just giving you a warning. If you touch one hair on their heads, I will sign the kill order on you and every assassins in the timeline will be after you" Freddy said "We don't care, we will fight till the very end" Jean said "Very well, but don't say I didn't gave you a warning" Freddy said.

A/N: Freddy is back guys, I don't know why but I love the way he entered the battle, hope you like it too.
