CHAPTER SIXTEEN: ANOTHER KID

It was adorable watching Noa grow and develop. Sure there was sleepless nights, waking up in the middle of the night when he was crying or Maddie needed to feed him, and endless days of cleaning, but everyday her and Five got to watch the kid's wide-eyed expression at little thing.

It is the most exhausted thing to take care of a young child. But they were doing it together. And with the help of their family of course.

Five was an amazing dad. Half of the time he would comfort their son when he woke up in the middle of the night. They enjoy so much being a family. And they enjoy every moment they spend with their son. 

Both Maddie and Five was raised roughly, not treated kindly. Constant training and always competin. So when they had a kid, they made a promise to not let them grow up like the two of them did. They will both treat them with love and affection, teaching them they're loved equally, no matter what. Spending lovely time with them, bonding, taken them to fun experiences, just to see them smile and have a good life was more than enough then Maddie and Five.

Five was sitting on the couch in the living room while Maddie was playing with Noa who was eleven months now.

Five was smiling at the sight of his wife playing with their son before looking down at the files.

"Hon look" Maddie said which cause Five to look up and his eyes widened when he saw Noa on his feet. Maddie was behind Noa as she was holding his tiny hands while he was walking by himself.

"Oh my God" Five got up before walking closer "Our little boy is walking" Maddie said as she support Noa while he by himself used his feet to walk forward.

Maddie looked down at her little son before she slowly let go of his hands and Noa didn't fall instead he were standing up, all by himself.

Maddie quickly grab the camera before recording Noa's first steps.

Five then walked over to Maddie before they both crouched down "Come here, Sweetheart" Maddie said "Come on buddy, you can do it" Five said.

"Come here" they said and Noa started taking another step towards us "His first steps" Maddie said with a big smile on her face.

"Come here, you can do it" Five said as Noa starting taking more steps towards them.

Maddie and Five opened up their arms as Noa walked closer to them "You can do it Buddy" Five said with a proud smile on his face.

When Noa was closed enough he felled into their arms "Sweetheart, that was your first steps" Maddie lifted their son up his arms "Hon, our son took his first steps" Maddie said with tears of joy in her eyes.

"Well done" Five said as he was holding one of Noa's fingers wiggling it up and down "That's my boy" he said as he kissed Noa on the cheek "Who is already getting big" Maddie kissed Noa on the forehead.

They then sat down and Five sat in front of Maddie not far.

He put Noa down who started taken some small steps towards Maddie and then towards Five.

After a few times Five lifted Noa up in his arms "That was amazing" he smiled "He grow up so fast" she said "Yeah" Five nodded.

(A YEAR LATER)

"Good Morning" Five said as he walked down the stairs and into the kitchen "Good morning" Maddie said. 

"What a round last night" he said "Yeah" she said before letting out a sigh "What's wrong?" he asked "Nothing is wrong" she said.

But then he grab her shoulder before he turned her around so she was facing him "I know something is wrong?" he asked "How do you know that?" she asked "I know my wife" he smiled.

"Tell me, no matter what it is, I'm here, okay?" he asked. 

She took a deep breath before she pulled up the pregnancy test from her pockets and handed it to him.

He grabbed it before he looked at it and his eyes widened before he looked back at her "Does this mean...?" he asked and she nodded "Yeah, it's positive" she said and he smiled "Love, that's amazing" he said before he wrapped his arms around hers as he spin her around before he put her down.

"I can't believe it, we are having another baby" he said with a big smile on his face "I know that it was not plan" she said "Sometimes we can't change what to come, but sometimes the surprises are the best parts" he said.

"So you're happy?" she asked "Happy? I'm beyond happy" he said, still smiling but then he saw the look at her face.

"Hey" he put his finger on her chin before he lifted her head so she was looking at him "What's wrong? You are not happy?" he asked "I am, but I'm scared, what if something comes between us, what if---" "No" he said, cutting her off before he put his hands on her cheek.

"Nothing is gonna come between us. I love you so much. More than anything and we are gonna be a happy family and I'm not gonna leave you, I promise and I also promise that I will not let anything hurt you, Noa or the baby, I will protect you and our children with my life" he said as he stroke his thumb down her cheeks.

"Promise that you will never leave me" she said "I promise. And I will die before I let anything happen to you, Noa and the baby" he said before he put his hand on her belly which cause her to smile.

"Should we tell him now?" Maddie asked, looking at Five.

The couple were ready to tell Noa that he was going to be a big brother.

"Noa, can you come here please?" Five called out. Noa ran into the room and sat down in front of them on the floor. He was only two years old and he had already learned how to run and talk like an adult. He had inherited his dad's high IQ. He look a lot like Five, but he had Maddie's sweet personality.

"What is it Daddy?" Noa  asked.

Five and Maddie looked at each other and smiled before they told him the big news "You're going to be a big brother soon" Five said "Mommy's having a baby" Maddie said.

"Really?" Noa asked as his eyes lit up "Where the baby?" he asked as he looked around "It's not here yet" Five said "It is in mommy's stomach" Maddie said.

"Did you eat it?" Noa asked with a smile and the couple chuckled "No"  they said "Then why is it in your stomach?" Noa asked "We will explain it to you when you are older" Five said "When will it get here?" Noa asked "It will be here in nine months" Maddie said answered.

"Are you happy?" Five asked and without warning, Noa felt into their arms and hugged them "I'm happy" he smiled.

SIX MONTHS LATER

Today Five and Maddie will be finding out the gender of their second baby. They decided that they didn't wanted to be surprise. They wanted to know right away so they could prepare better.

Maddie and Five walked into the building with their fingers interlocked, together.

"Name?" the lady at the front desk ask "Maddie Delany" Maddie smiled.

The lady smiled before looking through some files in her drawer "Please take a seat and the doctor will call you in" she said and the couple nodded before they took a seat.

They both sat down before waiting as they were holding hands.

Five was tapping his leg like he does when he's nervous because he knew that today was the day they would find out the gender.

"I'm wondering if it's a boy or a girl" Five mumbled as he held his wife's hand and glanced at her baby bump. "Me too. Who knows, maybe the gynecologist will be able to tell us the gender today" she said with a smile.

"I wonder how Noa would react?" she asked "Well, he told me, he wanted a little brother to play with" Five said "I think that he will also be happy with a little sister to play with" she said "Yeah, I have a feeling that if the baby is a girl, I think our daughter will be a badass" he said and she chuckled.

"Not to be mean or anything, but I hope it's a girl" he said "You know what, I hope is a girl too, 'cause I can't handle three of you" she said and he chuckled.

It didn't take long before they were called in and Maddie lay on in one of the room, waiting to see their baby.

"Good day, Maddie and Five" the gynecologist nodded at them. Maddie smiled while Five shook the gynecologist's hand.

"Go ahead and lay down for me" the gynecologist said as she grabbed the transducer thingy.

Maddie laid down before lifting up her shirt up, just where her stomach starts.

She was six months pregnant now and Five and her was really hoping to know the gender today, it would make things like buying baby clothes eaiser, knowing if they have a boy or a girl, but some of the things wouldn't mind what they have, no matter if we had a boy or a girl, they would just used some of Noa's old baby clothes.

But it was important to know what gender the baby is, so they could think about the nursery they were making in the spare room.

The gynecologist got the transducer and spread oil on Maddie's stomach. She put the transducer on her stomach and used the tv image to guide it along her bump.

"Well, the baby is strong and healthy" the gynecologist smiled as they could hear their baby's heartbeat.

"That's good. So can you see if we are having a girl or not?" Maddie asked while Five was tapping his leg like he does when he's nervous because he knew that today was the day they would find out the gender.

Maddie understand that he was excited, today was the day they will find out if they were having a son or a daughter

"Yeah and do you want to know what you're expecting?" the gynecologist asked with a grin on her face.

The couple shared a short glance and then they both nodded.

"Do you want to know it now or shall I write it down?" she asked "Write it down" they both said and the gynecologist did that.

Both Maddie and Five return back home and Five closed the door after them as Maddie was holding the envelope that contain the answer.

"Ready?" she asked before looking at Five as the two were smiling widely at each other.

"Very" he said.

Maddie took a deep breath before quickly opening the envelope.

SEX: FEMALE

"It's a girl" Five practically screamed as they were smiled and laughed at the results of the baby's gender.

Five pulled Maddie in for a sweet kiss.

"It's a mini me! I can't believe it" he said as he pulled away from their kiss. She laughed at the beautiful sight in front of her.

"That's good, I can't handle another one of you" she said sarcastically.

Maddie swallowed but she couldn't hold back her tears. A girl, she was pregnant with a little baby girl. Knowing that she'll have a daughter in some months, somehow made this whole thing more real.

Her and Five had one of each, they wanted a boy and girl. They already have a boy and soon they were gonna have a girl.

"This is so great Love, I'm so happy" he said as she squeezed Five's hands and looked up at him. He returned the look and gently stroke her cheek to wipe away the tears.

Then he leaned down at kissed her "I love you. I love you so much. And I love Noa and now I also love our baby girl" he whispered and his voice was slightly shaking.

Both Maddie and Five wanted a girl after having a boy and now it was coming true.

"I love you too" she replied, feeling the happiest she could feel.

"I wonder how Noa would react?" she asked "I hope he will be happy" he said "Well, he told me, he wanted a little brother to play with, but I think that he will also be happy with a little sister to play with" she said.

"Yeah, I have a feeling that our daughter will be a badass" he said and she chuckled.

"Now we can continue with the nursery, plus buy more baby stuff, like clothes" she said "She can use some of Noa's old clothes" he said "Yeah, but I also think she could have some of her own clothes" she said.

A FEW DAYS LATER.

Maddie needed a bath and after tug Noa in, and read for him until he was asleep she decided to take a long and warm bath.

When it was Noa's bedtime, both Maddie and Five would tug him in, most of the time, either Maddie or Five would read for him or Maddie would sing or hum for him until he was asleep.

With a deep sigh, she let herself sink into the hot water and closed her eyes.

She could feel her muscles relax and after some minutes, she dozed off while the water caressed her body.

She was about to fall asleep when the bathroom door opened and she winced as she hard steps coming closer.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't want to scare you, Love" Five smiled down at her and then kissed her gently.

"Hey. Where have you been?" she asked and let herself sink deeper into the water. It was still warm.

"Sorry, got caught up in something" he explained and started to get undress "And what are you doing now?" she frowned as she watched her husband taking off his pants.

"I'm gonna join you" he simply said and then let himself sink into the bathtub as well.

Maddie leaned against Five and enjoyed the short massage he gave her shoulders.

"Hmm....I could get used to this" she murmured with closed eyes and felt Five's chest move as he laughed silently "I'd give you a massage every day" his breath tickled her neck and she chuckled.

Five let his hands slowly wander from her shoulder to her baby bump where he started to gently stroke it.

For a moment they both remained quiet and were lost in their own thoughts, but then they could feel the baby kick.

"Oh my god" Five exclaimed "Was...was that....the baby...did...it...did...it" he was so excited he couldn't get a straight sentence out of his mouth and she laughed out loud "Yes, Hon. Our little girl just kicked" she replied.

"Wow...did...did she do that for the first time now or....?" Five asked now while he continued stroking her baby bump "No, I started to feel her kick some days ago" she confessed "What? And you didn't tell me?" he was surprised.

She turned her head so she could look at her husband "I was gonna tell you, but you've been busy and I didn't want you to keep having your hand on my stomach, that it was little bit too much. Beside you have already felt a kick before" she explained.

"Hmm...I know that. But still I hope you'll tell me when the baby kicks and I'm around from now on" he replied "I always do" they chuckled and then she slightly winced when she felt the baby kicking again.

"Are you alright?" he asked when he felt her wincing. She nodded and grabbed his hand to place them where the baby was kicking now. Five immediately was quiet again "There. She kicked again" he exclaimed.

For the next fifteen minutes, they just kept sitting in the bathtub and Five had his hands on her baby bump, waiting for the little girl inside to kick again.

"Five, let's go out of the bathtub, I'm freezing" she eventually said as goosbumps started to cover her arms.

The water was quite cold right now and she just wanted to get out and into her PJ.

That's what she did half an hour later. She put on the PJ and now snuggled up to Five in bed. He had put one of his hands on her baby bump once again. The baby, that had kept kicking, now seemed to calm down again.

"It's look like your touch calms her down" she quietly said and he sighed "I'm not sure if I'd be glad about that or not. I'd love to feel their movements more often. I've never experienced something as amazing as this, except when we felt Noa kick for the first time" his voice was almost a whisper and she now examined his facial expressions close while they started to feel their baby girl again.

His eyes widened when he felt the kick again and his lips slightly parted. He was definitely in awe and it made her heart to start beat a bit faster. To see her husband like this made her incredibly happy.

Five kissed her cheek. She placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes while she felt his hand on my bump once again. He stroked it gently, moved his hand from one side to the other, up and down. He clearly was hoping the baby would kick again.

"I guess our baby girl is sleeping now, honey" she said quietly "I think so too" he replied "You'll tell me when she kicks the next time, right?" he asked.

"Of course I will. And when she kicks too hard, you won't be allowed to leave my side because she clams down when she hears your voice and when you put your hands on my stomach" a smile had creep on both their  lips while she were speaking.

To know what gender their second child would have made it even more real for them that we were going to be parents for the second time.

EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT

"Here's breakfast for my beautiful wife" Five murmured into Maddie's ear, his lips stealing a tender kiss as he handed her a tray with food. It took her a bit of effort to adjust herself in bed. Her eight-month-pregnant belly didn't make it any easier. Noa played beside her, filling the room with laughter.

"I still feel like it's a dream" she admitted softly, locking her eyes with her husband's. She admired the word. She loved to call him her husband. It screamed he was hers.

"Anything I can do to make it feel like it isn't?" he asked "Just being here is enough" she said "I'm not going anything, you are stuck with me, always and forever" he smiled.

He then gently placed a hand on her round belly, and at that very moment, their baby girl kicked.

"Hey there, little one" Five cooed, kissing her belly "You're reminding Mommy and Daddy that you're here, too huh?"

"Yeah, our girl wants the attention" she teased.

"I can't wait to meet her, and I hope she will look like you" he cocked his head, supporting himself on his elbows on the bed beside her. "I hope she looks like you, she will sure be a little daddy's girl" they chuckled.

"I couldn't be happier, Love" Five looked deeply into her eyes, his hand now caressing her cheek "Having a family with you is the best thing that ever happened to me"

"I could say the same, Five" she said "You've changed me in so many ways and shown me what real love feels like. You're my everything to me. My best friend, my love...my safe place" he said.

Five leaned closer, his husky low dreamy voice filled her lips, his hand sliding at the back of her neck, his eyes that she fell so hard for, flickering between hers "Maddie Hargreeves Delany. I love you, always and forever" he said "I love you always and forever" they shared a kiss.

"Mommy, I want to talk to my baby sister, can I talk to her?" Noa asked and Maddie looked at her son. He looks so much like Five. His face was now enhanced with his match green eyes and brown hair, that made him more like Five's twin than son, but through Five and Maddie's eyes, he was their child, their son.

"Of course you can" Maddie turned so she was laying on her back and Noa put his hands on her eight month pregnant belly "Little sister, are you going to come out soon?" he asked which cause both Five and Maddie to smile.

NINE MONTHS PREGNANT

1am, Maddie started having small not painful contraction and Five got up in the middle of the night to make her some food.

She always love how caring and amazing he is.

It was 4am now and she started to feel very uncomfortable. She have being feeling like that since she enter the two last month of the pregnancy.

But now she felt more uncomfortable than she use to, so she woke up as she felt something, before she lifted up the sheet and her eyes widened.

"Damn it" she saw that her water has broken.

"Love what's wrong, you oka--" Five stopped himself when he saw her water has broke and saw his wife in pure panic.

"It's okay Love, we need to get to the hospital now" he said "Five, it's fine, I haven't even had my first contracti--" Maddie stopped myself when she felt the contraction. "Shit" she hold her stomach in pain "Right Maddie we are going now" Five help her out of bed and then grab his phone to call his Diego and Lila.

He told them about the situation and then asked them to meet him at the hospital to take Noa before hanging up the phone.

"Right Love, let me get you in the care, then we grab Noa" Five got Maddie to the car and then grab Noa who is thankfully still asleep.

Fiv got us in the car and start driving to the hospital but there was traffic. "Come on" Five hissed.

"Damn it" Maddie hold on her stomach in pain. While focus on driving Five is also trying to calm her down.

"God sake why isn't it mo---" Maddie got another contraction "For god sake, please hurry up" she groan.

"I know Love, I'm sorry, just breathe okay, we will get there" Five tried to clam me down.

After a hour they finally got to the hospital. Five parked the car and got Maddie out before getting Noa out.

"Help my wife, she's in labor" Five called out as they rushed into the hospital.

"Sir if you would follow me this way please" a nurse said and they follow her into a room where she gave me as gown and Maddie got in the bed while Five puts Noa who was still asleep on the couch with a blanket.

The doctor check how far Maddie was but the doctor said that it may still take a few hours which Maddie were very annoyed about.

"Hey, it's okay Love, it take time. Noa took hours to be born, it's okay" Five kissed her forehead and comfort her.

A hour later Diego and Lila "Hey guys" they said as they enter "How are you feeling?" Diego asked "Tired, excited and in pain" Maddie replied.

"Thanks for coming and get Noa" Five said "Of course" Diego said "By the way, Noa might wake up scared since he hasn't woken up at all. So he will have no clue where he is, so could you just tell him that mummy is having his little sister" Five said "Of course, I'm sure he will adore his little sister" the two smiled before leaving.

Lila's and Diego's daughter Grace was really good friends with Noa. And it was ofte they had a playdate. 

Over three hours later Maddie have had many contractions, she was getting very angry. And agitated at this point.

"What's taken this little bean so long!" she groan "I don't know but she need to arrive soon. It's making her mummy very mean" Five said "Hey I'm not mean!" she said out loud before stopping myself when she realized that she just shouted at her husband "I'm so sorry" she said

Five just laughed "It's okay, don't you apologies darling" he smiled "But I just yel---" she got another contraction but this one was worse than any other one she had.

This was unbearable and it hurt much worse than it did when I gave birth to Noa.

"It's going to be okay, Love, it's just..." but then Maddie grabbed Five's collar before she pulled him closer to her face "Have you ever giving birth? No, so shut up with it's just" she let go of him as she let out a grunt.

"Just breath" Five said as he squeezed his wife's hand reassuringly "Screw you! You did this to me!" she screamed.

Maddie looked over at her husband who looked over at one of the midwives "She doesn't mean it" she reassured him.

The pain felt like she was being stabbed a thousand times, then hours later, it was time for her to push.

Soon the infirmary was filled with the cries of Maddie's and Five's newborn baby girl.

They were crying happy tears as she was places on Maddie's chest. Their family were complete and the couple was so happy that they had two beautiful children to take care of.

"Congratulations, you two, she's beautiful. Strong and healthy" the midwife smiled as the couple continued to look down at their baby girl.

The nurse took the baby and got her cleaned up before bringing her back to us, wrapped in a soft pink blanket. She was swaddled in a pink blanket with a pink hat on her little head to cover her dark locks.

After more than ten hours of being in labor, Maddie and Five could finally hold their baby girl in our arms.

Already their little girl had small sprigs of dark brown hair that almost look black "We have another one of you. Two mini Five" they both chuckled.

When her eyes opened, they noticed she had Maddie's eyes "She have her mother's eyes" Five smiled.

"She looks just like you" Maddie whispered "She does, but I think she's going be a badass like her mom" he chuckled "And her dad" she said.

"What should we name her?" she asked "I have a name in mind" Five answered.

When the couple found out that they were gonna have a girl, they have being talking and spend a lot of time what to name their baby girl.

They have writing names down on a piece of paper and there were three of the same names that they have both writing down.

Five whispered the name into her ear and she immediately fell in love with it. It was one of the names that they both have picked out.

He kissed her forehead before he left the infirmary to get Noa who was waiting outside with Diego and Lila.

When Noa came back, Five sat him down on the bed and Maddie carefully held the baby as she brought her closer to her big brother "Is that my little sister?" he asked "Yes, it is. Meet your little sister, Samantha Grace Delany" she answered.

Little now three-year-old Noa had a small smile on his face, and he leaned down and kissed her head "She's pretty" he smiled.

Five guided his son in how to hold her and the look on Noa's' face were priceless. It was a mixture of happiness and love "Hi, little sis, I'm your big brother. And I promise that I love you and protect you, always and forever" he whispered to her before planting another kiss on her head.

Samantha opened her eyes to look at Noa before she with her pinky wrapped it around his fingers.

It was like she could recognize Noa's voice, but it was no surprise, he have being talking a lot to her while she was inside Maddie's belly.

Five's eyes met Maddie's and they leaned in close and kissed for a moment before looking back at their beautiful family.

After the couple return home from the hospital, Five tug Noa to bed while Maddie did the same with Sam.

Then the couple went to bed.

Five woke up to hearing Maddie sobbing "Hey" he lifted his head as he put his hand on her right shoulder "What is wrong Love? Bad dreams again?" he asked "NO" she shook her head.

"Then what is it?" he asked but she kept sobbing "Hey" she turned around to look at him and he noticed the tears in her eyes.

"What are you scared of?" he asked "I'm just scared that this peaceful calm part of our life will end" she sob in the crook of his neck. His arm sneak around her and places himself next to her on their bed.

"I know. I am too. But if it does end, we will face it together. Not getting split up" he tells her as he lean his forehead against hers. "We will face it together" she repeated what he just said. "Yes" he whispered in her ear "Always"

Maddie walked into her room when she noticed something on her night table. She walked over to see it was letter.

'TO MADISON HARGREEVES, THE BEST FRIEND ANYONE COULD ASK FOR'.

Maddie could see that it was Freddy's handwriting.

She lifted up the letter and took a deep breath before she opened it.

'Dear Maddie

I leave you this letter because I can't return to you anytime soon and it hurts me, I was never good at goodbye, so instead I wrote this letter to you but I also wrote it to explain something to you.

Times flies, doesn't it? I can still remember when we first met, I was a scared, broken outcast boy who didn't know who he was or where he was from and who didn't fit in anywhere, but you opened me up, you showed me another way to live and you were the first to welcome me into your family and saw me as one of them, you help and made me fit in.

I was wrong, Kate didn't brought out the best in me, you did, you taught me to live normal and used my skills for good, you saw the light in me. Every since we were kids you were always there for me, no matter what I did or said, you were always the one who made me laugh and smile every day, the one who made me feel good and because of that you became my best friends and I still miss all those moments we spend together every day. You have no idea how grateful I am to you for everything you have done for me.

I had to admit I was in love you throughout our whole childhood and through most of our teen years, but I knew that your heart belong to Five and it always will and I hope he knows about how lucky he is to have you.

I found out about my powers and I met another one like me and she told me the whole truth about Guardians and the story about them but she also told me that Red Dragons and Guardians are meant to be enemies and that is their destiny to fight each other to the death. I found another Red Dragon, but he was the opposite of you, he was a killer and a monster, and he wanted to destroy the world, so I did what my Guardian job was, I killed him, to protect you, the rest of the people I care about and the world.

But because I let the full power of the Guardian out, I almost destroy him without giving him a chance. And I know that I can't let the Guardian in me hurt you, so I decided that it would be best to stay away from you, just until I know I can fully control the guardian in me, I know that you can control the Dragon in you 'cause you have fought it your whole life and I have only just begun, but also because your soul is stronger than mine. I know you probably think I'm wrong and you don't believe that I will hurt you, but remember what happen when I let go and the Guardian got out, I lost control, the Guardian took over and I hurt you, and I don't think I will ever forgive myself because of that, and I can't let that happen again, so therefore I think is best for me to stay away from you, just until I have found a way to fully control the Guardian in me and then I wouldn't hurt you or worse kill you.

And it hurts me knowing that I have to stay away, but I think that the reason it hurt us saying goodbye to each other and it hurt me staying away from you, it's because our souls are connected. Just like the platonic soulmates that we are.

Don't feel sorry for me or worry about me and don't try to find me, I'm fine where I am, I found a place where I can really feel home and fit in, a place I belong in.

I think I should tell you the truth about why I really left, yes it was because I needed to found out about my past and my powers, but I also needed to find the people who killed my dad so I could revenge him, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I knew that if I told you the whole truth, you would have insisted to come alone and I couldn't have that, cause I was afraid you would get hurt. But I found every single one of them and my dad can now rest in peace.

Guess what, I found who I am. My real name is Kodi Turner, son of Logan Turner who was the supreme commander of The Commission and now I'm going to take over after him as the new commander of The Commission, but don't worry, I am not going to fall back to my old self, and I will lead The Commission into a better future. I also found my old family, and we are going to rule over The Commission together and help each other into living a better life.

I'm sorry I'm not going to return to you any time soon, even so I promise, another promise broke.

You were right, we all need a family, The Hargreeves are yours, more than mine. But I am okay with that, 'cause I have being on my own since I was nine and I never really felt like I fit in anywhere, not even with your family even so I tried my best to fit in there, but just because you fit in, then it doesn't mean you belong there and I felt like I didn't completely belong there even so you and your family showed me that I do. My faith is in you and your family, I guess. And I'm happy to say for the most part, they haven't let me down, especially you who have never let me down. Which is why I can't let you guys down either, but I think I am gonna have to do it by not returning. Locks can be replace, but maybe they shouldn't. I know I hurt you Maddie. Hopefully one day you can understand and I hope I can forgive myself.

I never thought that The Hargreeves was my family, but you help me see that, and now I have two family because of that.

Life is sometimes harder than you want it to believe, what I want to say is that I'm sorry. Everyone makes mistake, but my mistakes cannot be forgiven. All that happened...I wouldn't chance anything about it. Everything I have done I would do it again and again. Having friends and family has been my greatest gift...And for that I am so incredibly grateful to you cause is all thanks to you, you saved my life, gave me a chance second, you saw the good in me, you brought out the light and you were there for me when no one else was.

Seeing you and Five together taught me what love was and cause of that I know what Kate and I had and I knew what I felt when I met her and when I was with her. When I thought my life was over, I thought back to the time when I met Kate and you and me was living with her in the house. Everything was so peaceful and beautiful like in a never ending dream. But like I said..life is sometimes harder than you want to believe. And the dream became a terrible story that never seems to have a happy ending. A story that ends for many people and a new beginning for some...You know it's so hard to trust people and I speak from experience...But family is something completely different. They protects you from everyone and everything that want to hurt you, like you and your family did for each other, like you and your family did for me.

Okay but enough of all the sad things. Be happy with your new life now. Be the person you were born to be. Born as a fighter that you will always be. We'll see each other again someday and I will wait impatient to that day.

You were right, I would get a second chance about love in life and I did, I found my second chance who see the same in me that you and Kate saw.

I hope you will live the life you always wanted and I hope you found happiness cause I found mine. But always be on your guards, become a fight can arrived when you least expect it and don't trust people to soon.

I have always loved you, you were my first love. You made me who I am and I will always love you because of that.

But no matter what, I promise you, if you need me, to anything, even the smallest things. Then no matter what, no matter how far I'm from you, I will be there.

Hope we will see each other again one day, but until then, live your life, be strong, be happy.

A hand was put on Maddie's left shoulder and she saw it was Five "You alright?" he asked and she gave him a smile without saying anything before she looked at the letter, Five looked at the letter.

After reading the letter they both looked at each other and Five wrapped his arms around Maddie's waist before he rest his head on her shoulder and they both looked out the window and up at the sky. Thinking about Freddy, hoping, believing, knowing that they would see him again someday.
