Author's note: This story is based on an old idea of mine. An AU, what-if story where Guk-doo is the lead guy. I write this now, finally, as I'm a sucker for childhood friend tropes and policemen, and bc I'm a JS fan. Plus I felt it was abrupt how Bongsoon's feelings changed. I really like ParkHyungSik as well and the pairing in the show was cute. But they shouldn't have shown Bong-soon fawning over her best friend in the beginning. I just don't like when people change their feelings just like that. That just did a number on me. either way I'm still glad Jisoo played Gukdoo and we get to see him portay a suave dashing cop. KJS needs to be the lead guy in a terrific show with a solid plot (like this show -perfect in every way. Let's wait and see.)
Yes I recently got to know of his scandal (my bad I go dormant in fandoms for few years just like that) and It was a shock. But those allegations (half of them were proven wrong and for that I'm glad. I can only imagine what he went through.Its appalling how quickly you lose stardom. Ofc I would have been upset and stop treating him as my fav idol but only if he was proven guilty. well so many judged him but he had his fan support. I don't appreciate his actions in the past whatever he did and I'd condemn bullying and fight anyone who does that but... denying someone who's overcome his dark side? dragging him down for what he did when he was a teen? he clearly was brave to admit what he did and apologize. He only said he was friends with certain bullies if I've gathered it all correctly. And apologized to his costars and everyone who had to suffer because of him.
What a rotten luck! The person who's had to raise allegations. Why did they wait for years? Until he's become a lead guy finally? Can't they know forgiveness and move on? Too much was happening at once and we would probably never know the whole truth.
scandals aren't new in ktown. People are caught it worse situations and it's not fair to judge a person based on their distant past. I hope he makes a come back. It'd be a shame otherwise.
Back to my story, I have full faith you'll love it nonetheless but
