Legolas POV

When I walk into Alastegiel's room, I find her sleeping. I just stand by the door and stare at her. I'm not meaning too, but I am just trying to figure her out. I want answers. No, I need answers.

After a while, I leave her room because she shows no sign of waking up anytime soon. I find Aragorn and he tells me that we, we being Him, Gimli, Gandalf, Alastegiel, and I, are needed in Lothlórien. I wonder what for.

The next morning, I head down to the gates of Rivendell. I am the second one to arrive, the first being Aragorn. Our horses are here and ready to go.

"Good morning, Legolas." Aragorn greets me.

"Morning." I say back. "Do you know why we are needed in Lothlórien?"

He shakes his head, "No, I do not know why."

Soon, everyone is here and ready to go. Including Alastegiel. She is moving slowly and I can tell she is in some pain. Lord Elrond told me she will heal quickly.

We take off and on our journey I keep trying to talk to Alastegiel, but with no luck. The whole way there, everyone was pretty much silent. There would be a conversation once in a while though.

After a few days, we make it to Lothlórien. Haldir invites us in and takes us to Lady Galadriel. Now we can finally find out why she needs us here.

She walks in with a sad look on her face and scans the room. Her eyes land on Alastegiel and she gives a small smile.

"Estelwen, tinu nin. (My daughter)" She says.

I look back over to Alastegiel, confused. She has a tear streaming down her cheek.

"You-- you remember me?" She questions.

What is going on?

"You have grown up so much. What happened? Why did I not remember you?" Lady Galadriel asks her.

"I was taken from you when I was very little. The Ellon put a spell on everyone who knew me to forget who I was. Gandalf saved me from him and helped me. After a while I went off on my own and then found the Woodland-Realm and became King Thranduil's servant." She explains to her and then turns to us. "I really wanted to tell you all the truth about me, but if I did it could have put you all in danger. My name is not Alastegiel. My real name is Estelwen, the Lady of Hope and my Naneth is Lady Galadriel. I really hope you all might forgive me one day, but I understand if you don't."

She gives us a sad smile before turning back to Lady Galadriel and giving her a hug. My head is spinning from all of this new information. I need sometime alone to process this.
