Legolas POV

Aragorn looks at us and says softly, "For Frodo."

He then turns, his sword raised, and he Charges forward. There is a moment of silence and no one else moves. Suddenly, I hear a shout. Pippin and Merry are now charging forward. We and the rest of the men follow.

Once we reach the Orcs, I start killing them. Not long into the Battle, the Nazgul have come. One was swooping down when an eagle attacks it. I hear a loud whistle and then out comes a whole army of animals, Alastegiel leading them.

She makes a motion with her hand and all of the animals charge forth and start killing orcs. Alastegiel then pulls out her sword and starts fighting too.

I continue to kill more Orcs. Hope is being to be lost when there is an explosion on Mount Doom. The tower falls.

Alastegiel POV

While the tower is falling, I notice an Orc pointing an arrow at someone about to shoot. I look and see that it is aimed at Legolas!

"LEGOLAS!" I shout, running towards him.

The Orc releases the arrow as Legolas turns around to look. I jump in front of him and I fall to the ground, the arrow has pierced my stomach. I let out a groan of pain.

I hear another explosion and the all I hear is ringing and the faint sound of Legolas talking. My vision is going in and out.

"Alastegiel! Alastegiel? Why did you do that? Why did you save me?"

I was able to get a sentence out before losing consciousness, "Because-- because I care about you."
