*PRESENT*

Takemitchy believed that with Kisaki's removal from Toman, the future he came from changed for the better. However... It wasn't like that at all.

The present has worsened even more than before. Hina also died in this future, but she wasn't the only victim. At the present time, all Toman captains are dead. Annie disappeared without a trace, and so did all the information. As if it ceased to exist.

The perpetrator of all this was someone Hanagaki wouldn't have suspected. It was Mikey.

The boy broke down when he found out about all this, he didn't know how it all happened or what he should do at the moment. He thought everything would end well now, but he was disappointed.

Takemichi and Naoto thought through the situation and found a photo he had taken with his friends before returning to the future. There was a letter next to him. A letter from Mikey. Hanagaki immediately wanted to go to that place, and right now he was at the airport when suddenly someone stopped him.

"Takemitchy?" He heard a woman's voice, and when he turned around he saw someone he didn't expect.

"A-ami-chan?!" He exclaimed in shock. "Is that really you?!" He ran up to her.

The women was slightly skinny and her hair was black at the present time. Her eyesight was sad and her face was hard to read.

"I've finally found you." She came up to the surprised boy. "He contacted you, right?" She asked what surprised her companion even more.

"Who?" He asked.

"Manjiro." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Not really..." He scratched his head. "But I found a letter from him..."

"A letter?!" Girl was surprised. "Show it to me!"

Hanagaki showed her the message, and the girl said that she would go with Hanagaki.

"Ami-chan? Forgive my confusion, but... You're not with Mikey?"

"You don't remember?" Woman asked surprised at which the other shook his head, she sighed softly.

"We were together..." She said. "For a long time... But then... Something has changed. He has changed too... Before me he always pretended that everything was fine but I knew he was lying. I wanted to reach him somehow... And when it seemed to me that I managed to do it... I was wrong about it." She lowered her head sadly. "We were engaged..." Ami said, and Takemitchy opened his mouth in surprise. "Manji bought a house... And he didn't tell anyone where it was. We spent one night there together... A day later... He disappeared..." She wiped her tears. "He only left me documents with a new identity and money so that I would've enough to live on... And he himself... He left... Probably everything was beyond him and he wanted to protect me, but..." She cried. "I can't live without him." Said honestly. "I was looking for him, all this time... I tried to find him but I failed. And then everyone started to leave... I thought that if I could at least get to you, and then I would find Mikey as well... After all, only you're still alive... You're the last surviving division captain."

"What will you do when we find him?" Hanagaki asked sadly.

"I'll hit him." She replied wiping her tears. "And II'll yell at him. He promised me something..." She lowered her head sadly.

After a long journey, they finally got there. They both decided that Takemitchy should show up there first, Ami hid and until some time of their conversation, only stood and listened, trying to suppress a cry.

Everything started to change when Hanagaki left Toman. Everything started to break down, and Sano was unable to control everything. After that, things only got worse and that has led to the present future. Manjiro had killed them, and now he asked Takemitchi to meet him as he had one last request for him.

"Kill me." Sano said weakly while approaching his broken friend. "I want it all to end here."

"What are you talking about, Mikey-kun?" He asked crying. "Stop it, I don't understand. You're asking me to kill you right after we met... I just wanted to see you again."

"Hakkai also said something like that when he died..." Manjiro said. "Toman was on the right track once... And then it all ended this way. The first time I killed... I felt nothing and thought that the difficulties of this world could be mended with murder. All is well when you eliminate those who stand in your way."

"You're wrong, Mikey-kun!" Hanagaki shouted at his friend and shook him. "You haven't changed! You're still like you used to be!" He cried.

"Stop it, Takemitchi..." Sano said.

"I can see it in your eyes! Nothing has changed! You haven't changed... So stop talking about murders and all that crap!"

Mikey finally broke and knocked his old friend to the ground and put the gun to his head.

"What part of this you don't understand?!" Mikey shouted. "Take this gun and kill me... If you don't, you will die..."

"Manjiro!" Screamed woman's voice that immediately caught the leader's attention.

Man hesitantly stood up and looked at his beloved with tears in his eyes.

"Please stop..." She said in tears.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. "You shouldn't be here."

"So do you." She walked over to Sano, who aimed his gun at her to stop her.

"Don't come closer." He said weakly.

"Will you kill me?" She looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Manji..." Ami whispered.

"How did you get here...?"

"Doesn't matter." She interrupted him. "You promised me something, remember?" Said standing in front of him. "You broke your promise, so I came to shout at you." Ami came up to him and now stood closer to the weapon pointed at her. "You weren't supposed to leave me..." Her voice broke.

"You should come back home." Sano insisted.

"I don't have a home, Mikey!" She shouted at him. "You were my home, bloody bastard!" She cried. "Why did you leave?! You said you loved me..."

"Because it's true." He replied weakly.

"So why?" Woman came even closer to him and rested her forehead on the weapon. "Even now you want Takemitchy to kill you? Are you kidding...?" She cried. "What about me? Don't leave me anymore!" She grabbed the gun and lowered it, Manjiro's hand holding it. "I love you, Manji..." Girl looked into his sad eyes. "If you want to leave... Then take me with you... I told you that I would follow you everywhere... That I would always be by your side... So don't do this to me anymore and take me with you..." She sobbed. "I can't live without you, Manji..."

Annie was practically able to take the leader's weapon, but a moment later Hanagaki approached them and everything turned out badly. Takemitchy, believing that the girl had taken Mikey's gun, wanted to take it from her, and then Sano aimed the gun at his friend again, and a second later there was a loud bang from the gun firing.

They all stood for a moment in shock, and then Manjiro fell to the ground.

"M-mikey-kun...?" Hanagaki whispered, looking at the person from behind Ami. The person who had shot, it was Naoto.

"You..." He began, but someone interrupted him.

"Mikey!!" Kojima screamed and fell on her lap beside her lover, taking him in her arms. "Mikey! Wake up! I'm begging you!" She cried. "Manji..."

"Annie..." Sano opened his eyes gently and looked at the crying girl. "Ami-chan..." He smiled faintly at her.

"I'm with you..." She kissed his forehead. "Don't go... Please, don't leave me... I won't forgive you for that, Manji..."

Mikey looked at her and took her hand, which still had her engagement ring on her finger.

"You're my light..." Manjiro looked into her eyes again. "Same as before... Nothing has changed..." He smiled faintly. "I love you..." He whispered, and then he closed his eyes and didn't open them again.

"N-no..." Kojima cried. "N-no... Manji... Open your eyes... You can't die, Manjiro!" She screamed. "You can't..." She hugged his dead body. "Wake up... Don't sleep..."

Takemichi was standing next to his friend, still in great shock, and he couldn't contain his tears.

"You're not sleep... " She cried, cuddled up to the boy. "You're dead..."

"The safety lock is active?" Naoto wondered, looking at Sano's weapon. "He never inteneded to kill them...?"

Takemitchy glanced at Hina's brother, and then at the broken friend. He walked slowly towards her.

"Don't go where I can't follow you..." She cried, and after a while something caught her attention. "No... But I can follow you." Said, which surprised the others.

"A-ami-chan?" Hanagaki wondered.

"I'm going with you, Manji..." Annie said, quickly reaching for the weapon, unlocking it and putting it to her head.

"Ami-chan! No!" Takemitchy shouted, running towards her.

"I'm following you... Manji..." She closed her eyes letting the last tears run down her cheeks and then pulled the trigger. A second later her lifeless body fell right next to her lover, and the hands of the dead gently clasped together.
