7.

As an author it hurts me when the people only read the chapter and do not vote. The chapters have over 400-500 reads but the votes are only 80-90.
However, as a reader I know how desperately we wait for a new chapter. So this one is for all those loyal readers who vote and comment. This is the only time I am updating without the target being incomplete.
Thank you to my loyal readers.
I love you all very very much.

"Watch your feet" Virat warns Aarohi as they walk through the woods. He had his hands at her eyes covering them.

"Virat, hum kaha ja rahe hai?" Aarohi asks

("Virat, where are we going?")

"Patience rakh thodi" Virat says

("Have some patience")

"And we're here!" Virat says and removes his hands from her eyes making her gasp.

They were at a beautiful garden with a small stream flowing. There were variety of flowers, enhancing the beauty.

In the centre there was a blanket layed with multiple food items.

"Virat this is beautiful" She gasps and covers her mouth.

"I know" He says and raises his collar.

"Vesse you look too good in that whereas I look-" Aarohi says only to be cut off. Virat by the way was wearing a black jeans and a white shirt.

"Lip smacking!" He says making her laugh and blush at the same time.

"Let's go?" He asks offering her his hand which she gladly takes.

As they sit together a butterfly flies down and sits on Aarohi's finger.

"Wow!" She gasps and admires the little insect making Virat admire her in return.

'She is just like a butterly. Small and fragile yet free willed' he thinks to himself and smiles.

---

"Let's play something" Virat offers while they have their brunch.

"yeah" Aarohi agrees.

"Rapid fire?" He suggests making her giggle.

"Like coffee with Virat?" She asks raising her cup of coffee.

"yeah, coffee with Virat"

"your favourite colour?"

"Blue"

"Favourite actor?"

"Robert Downy Jr."

"Dream destination?"

"Paris"

"Spicy or sweet?"

"Spicy. Nothing competes golgappe"

"Winters or summer?"

"Winters"

"Cricket or football?"

"Cricket duh"

"Favourite player?"

"You" Virat smiles as she smiles back

"best friend?"

"You"

"Who do you want to marry?"

"You"

'Bingo' Virat thinks as Aarohi gasps.

"See I made you agree before the month ends." virat says cheekily.

"tum na sachi cheeku ho" She teases making him gasp.

"You can only call me that when we are alone butterly" Virat says and then smirks as she blushes at the nickname.

"Butterly?" She asks

"Butterfly" he nods making her smile.

Aarohi could not help but reach out to hug him surprising Virat.

"Is this okay?" She mumbles in his chest.

"More than okay" he says and places a feather kiss on the hair.

As she shifts more comfortably, something pocks her making her gasp.

"Butterfly are you okay? Are you hurt?" virat asks immediately breaking the hug.

"I am fine but kuch chuba" She says making his eyes widen.

("I am fine but something pricked")

"Aree it's a gift, I bought for you" He says making her raise an eyebrow.

"Gift?"

"Haan gift"

Virat takes out a black box from his pocket making Aarohi gasp.

"Are ring nhi hai" He says making her relax a bit. Yes she agreed to marry him but it would be too soon to give her a ring.

("Don't worry it's not a ring")

Virat opens the box and takes out a beautiful pendant.

"Acha laga?" he asks nervously.

"Bohot acha laga" She says making him smile.

"Thank you" Aarohi says with a soft smile and leans forward to place a soft kiss on his cheek making him gasp.

---

"Aarohi can I ask you something?" Virat asks

"Hmm?" She hums

"Why is your family so cold to you?" Virat asks. Though he knew the overview he still had no ideas about the details.

Aarohi lets out a non humorous chuckle and says "Virat they hate me. My mother was Kartik Goenka's second wife. The family was never able to accept her. Meri maa, Sirat Shekhawat ke first husband ki death ke baad she found out she was pregnant, with me. Dad accepted me as his own and told his family that he was father. Due to my mother's middle class background unhe uss ghar mein kabhi respect hi nhi mili. unhone sabke liye bohot kuch kiya per unhe koi accept nhi kar paya. After my father's death's news reached us, my mother was broken, she went to temple to pray for some miracle, I went with her. Akshara in her stupidity followed her, reason mujhe aaj tak nhi samajh aaya. Uss time weather bhi kharab tha. Tab my mother went down the temple stairs to get Akshara but she slipped. Her head hit a rock and she died on spot. I blamed Akshara. I was a kid who had no idea aur Goenka family ne bhi kabhi try nhi kiya to reform our relationship. Badi hui to realise kiya ki galti Akshara ki nahi thi, but the pain still remains."

As I got older, I realised that Akshara was not at fault but still the pain remains.")

Virat was shocked, he knew none of his words would be able to offer comfort to her so he just asked "Can I hug you?"

"Please" Aarohi mumbles as he wraps his arms around her.
