Riddhama's pov :

Thanks to the cold shower, I took few days back, it made me sick. I was sneezing badly and also had a fever. Today I'm feeling pretty good. I checked time once again as I don't wanna get late on first day of  my college, this is the last thing I wanna do. I have already packed my bag yesterday. I am really excited and nervous. I am little bit scared also. I didn't want to influence or want Vansh to take admission with me that's why I didn't tell him nor my and his parents. I don't want him to ruin his future because of me. I always want best for him. He should chase his dream. I want to see him successful.....

I gave a last glance to my mirror. I am wearing a black oversized Tshirt with my favorite jeans along with white shoes.

I took my backpack and went downstairs. As usual Papa was drinking tea alongside reading newspapers, sitting on the dining table. Mumma was preparing breakfast for me. I back hugged Papa and quickly gave him a kiss on the forehead, murmuring a quick "Good Morning". Kept my backpack on one of the chair and went in the kitchen. I also gave Mumma a side hug and wished "Good Morning" to her too. I asked her "What's for Breakfast". She looked at me and said " Sandwich". I instantly smiled because I love sandwiches. I gave kiss on her cheeks. I took a plate and served myself and went towards the dining table.

I finished my breakfast and took my backpack. I said to both of them "I don't want to get late, bye Mumma Papa." I started walking that's when mumma came running to me saying "Wait Riddhu, Give me 10 mins. I'll make your lunch quickly." I replied "Don't worry, I will eat something at college canteen, Bye Mumma." I went outside, took my scooty and head towards the college.  I hope everything goes fine. I am very excited for today.

I reached college 30 mins prior. This college is the one of the brach/franchise of my earlier school. It's just 10 mins away from my school. I went inside and started searching for my department. This college is soo big that I lost in it and went in the other department, but the staff here so helpful. They gave me direction to my department.

I was sitting in the classroom. Kabir also haven't reach yet. There are mostly boys here. I was scrolling through Instagram that when someone beside me said "Hii". I looked there to see a girl  with a big smile plastered at her face. I also said "Hi". I was relieved that I was not the only girl here. "Hi, I'm Siya Verma, I thought I was the only girl here." saying this she forwarded her hand. We both shake hands. "I was thinking the same thing, By the way I'm Riddhama Raichand, nice to meet you."

We both talk for next few minutes that's when Kabir came and sat beside me. I looked at him and asked "How was your vacation?". He answered " It was soo fun yaar. I wish that I could spend all my time traveling. I love to explore places." I don't why, he likes traveling soo much. And here me who loves to stay at home.

Professor entered the classroom and she started introducing herself and told us about the subject and everything that we need to know. After that she started taking our attendance. There are not many students in our class/department. By looking at the students, I guess 20-25 students will be in total including me..

Professor said "Okay, so last is Vansh Raishinghania." I gasped hearing his name. I started searching him in the classroom that's when I heard him saying "Yes Ma'am", He was standing at the door looking at me. He said "Sorry for today Ma'am, I won't be late from today". She nodded her head and he came inside. He passed from my bench not before closing my mouth with back of his hand, I don't know since when it was open and sat behind me.

I am not able to concentrate on the lecturers. One by one 3 lecture are over and the 4th one was currently going on.  Kabir tapped on my shoulder, I looked at him. He asked "This was the last lecture for today, Ma'am just told us that we can go home now.." I nodded and kept my notebook and pouch in my bag. I saw Vansh going out of the class, I need to talk to him. I said to both Siya and Kabir "I need to leave, Bye guys.. Meet you tomorrow.." I dashed out of the classroom.

I saw Vansh, he was about to leave. That's when I called him "Vansh, we need to talk.."  I slowly went towards him and stand face to face.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you ruining your future? Please don't do this.... Please...." I said to him.

He just looked at me. And I had tears in my eyes..

"Is it because of the promise...." I said

"You could have forgotten our promise but I didn't" He replied

Flashback :

Vansh's pov :

We both were 3-4  years old. My Nani had visited to meet us and after spending 10 to 12 days, She was about to leave, we both were playing in the garden when she came to us..

When we both saw her, we run towards her and both hugged her. We couldn't reach her so we hugged her knees. We parted, she bend to our height and gave both of us kisses on the cheek and Chocolates...

"Thankyou" We said (Riddhama, Vansh)

"I hope, I see you like this happy and together always.. Tum dono bhi saath rehna jaise tumhare papa hai" she said

"Yes Nani, Hum saath hi rahenge" little Riddhama said

"Haa hamesha" I said

"You guys are young, you dont how how life work. But still, I hope to see you together forever" She said and left..

Suddenly Riddhama come up to me saying "Promise Vansh, you will not leave me. We will always be together just like baba and papa" and forwarded her pinky. I locked my pinky to her and said "I promise you,we will be together ALWAYS AND FOREVER"

(HERE THEIR FATHER'S WERE IN SAME SCHOOL AMD EVEN COLLEGE TOGETHER AND THAT MADE THEIR BOND STRONGER. THAT'S WHY THEY THOUGHT/DECIDE THAT THEY WILL ALSO STUDY IN SAME SCHOOL AND COLLEGE AND THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO STAY TOGETHER. THEY MISUNDERSTOOD THE WORD TOGETHER.)

Vansh's pov :

"You could have forgotten our promise but I didn't" saying this I looked at her for few seconds and saw tears in her eyes. I turn around to leave that's when she grabbed my hand but I didn't look back.

She said "You still have time you can take admission in Business Management"

Hearing her I turned around, She was crying and continued saying "I don't want you to  ruin your future, I know you won't change your mind. That's why I'm also taking Business Management with you... Let's go we still have time.."

I cupped her face, she closed her eyes. I wiped tears from her face. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I can't see her like this..

"Hey, Why are you crying baby? And you are not ruining my future.... Why do you think like that?" I said trying to console her...

"You always wanted to do Business Management but now you are here taking Mechanical Engineering even though you are not at all interested in that... Doing this you are taking a step back from your dream/future. I didn't like that. Last time also you did the same thing, taking Science. And I don't want you to do the same thing again. From last 2 years, I am feeling guilty and I don't want to feel it anymore..." She said crying....

Her eyes had become red from crying. I wiped her tears and pull her in my embrace..

"Why are you feeling guilty, you didn't force me or influence me to do that. It was and is my decision. Yaa I was not interested but when I come to know that someone I know wanted to do it, so I thought to give it a try" I said

"It's the same thing Vansh" she replied

"No, it's not... I am happily giving it a try and not under anyone influence" I said firmly

"If in the future, I didn't like this stream or find it hard to learn then I'll drop out..... so you don't need to worry... Focus on your studies and don't think of anything else.... Okay" Again I told her.

"But" she was about to say something but I cut her in the middle saying "Don't think too much baby and focus on your studies. Ssshhhh"

She was still in my embrace. I want the time to stop so that we can stay like this forever. I heard her cries died down so we pulled apart. I gave her a small smile but she didn't smile back. Her face was blank without any expression.

"How did you know I was taking admission here? and who told you that?... Was it Kabir? only he knew about it" she questioned me..

"No, it was not Kabir... I have my own sources.... " I answered giving an evil smirk to her...

She stared at me in disbelief and left from there...

I recalled how I got to know about her.....

Flashback :

Vansh's pov :

When we both went to take our result in school, she told me to wait in the parking as she wanted to meet the principal. I was little bit curious so when she was going in the office, I called pean kaka. I have/had very nice relation with everyone at school. I asked him to tell me what they talked in the office. He reported me every thing that's how I come to know about her plans...

Soo finally done with this chapter...Sorry for making you guys wait. It was soo hard for me to write, I didn't know how to start this chapter but I still managed to write it...
