When the door swung open Biana stood there smiling.

"Hey Sophie!!" Biana said hugging her.

When she pulled away from the hug Biana stepped inside. When Biana stepped inside Sophie found Fitz behind her.

"Oh.. hey Fitz!" Sophie said with a little fear in her voice.

Keefe grabbed her hand sending blue waves into her mind. Sophie looked at Keefe thanking him with her eyes. Sophie moved out of the way to let Fitz inside. When Sophie moved Fitz walked in looking at his feet. Keefe let go of Sophie's hand closing the door. 

"So... how is everyone doing?" Biana said while they waited for the others.

"I've been ok I guess.." Sophie said after a minute.

Sophie forgot that she hadn't told everyone that her mind was broken. 

I'll tell them when everyone gets here.

 Sophie thought to herself making a mental note. As soon as the thought got out there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it" Keefe said going to the door. 

When he opened it Marella, Maruca, Jensi, Linh, and Tam walked inside. Sophie got a sharp pain in her head again, this time it was so bad that she had to sit down on the floor. When she sat down she held her head in her hands. As soon as Keefe turned around he ran over to Sophie who was still on the floor. 

"Hey... it's ok. Do you need me to call Elwin." Keefe said bending down to sit beside her. 

Sophie shook her head no not looking up. Everyone was questioning what was happening. Sophie looked at Keefe.

"It's getting worse" she said tears forming in her eyes.

Keefe hugged her.

"I know.. but you have to fight threw it."

"You need to tell them..." Sophie mumbled looking but down.

"Are you sure?" 

"They deserve to know..."

"I'm sure everyone is thinking this when I say, what the heck is going on???" Biana said confused.

Keefe looked up from Sophie to look at everyone else.

"Sophie's mind is breaking." 

"What?" Linh said.

"My mind is breaking." Sophie said looking up at everyone.

"How do we fix it?" Marella spoke up.

"We can't. Only Sophie can." Fitz said speaking for the first time.

"You knew about this?!" Biana said looking at Fitz.

"Why didn't you tell me?" 

"I knew Sophie would tell us when she was ready." Fitz said looking down at his feet.

Biana went over to Sophie and hugged her.

"I'm sorry Sophie. We will figure this out." 

"Why are you sorry? It's my fault. We wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for me letting Dex die." Sophie said starting to cry.

Fitz walked over and tried to hug Sophie.

"Don't. Touch. Me." Sophie snapped at Fitz. He backed away going to the corner.

"I think we should leave..." Linh said tears in her eyes.

Everyone said bye and left. After everyone had left Keefe helped Sophie back upstairs.

When they got upstairs Sophie got into her bed and curled into a ball. When Keefe tried to leave Sophie stopped him.

"Don't leave... please don't leave me..."

"Sophie... what's wrong?" Keefe asked as he walked back over to her bed.

"I don't want you to leave me..."

"I'm a horrible person Keefe..." 

"No you're not Sophie. Why would you ever think that?"

"You literally lost your mom three days ago and you're having to take care of me when I should be taking care of you."

"Sophie listen to me, I want to take care of you." 

Sophie stood up and hugged Keefe. 

"I love to so so much Foster. Don't ever think I don't. We will fight through the guilt together."

Sophie nodded against his chest as she yawned. 

"Now, let's get some sleep." 

Sophie didn't argue as she climbed into bed. Keefe got in the bed with her and Sophie snuggled up against him. Keefe kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight Sophie."

"Goodnight. Oh and Keefe?"

"Mhm"

"I love you too."

After Sophie said at sleep took over as she drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

I'm just realizing how short these chapters are and I just wanna say sorry about that. I have been having writers block for the past few weeks and I'm out of pre-written chapters. So I'm going to try and continue writing this book bc I know how it feels to be in a really good book and they just stop writing it. So anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter even though it's short!
