Everyone was quiet and frozen.

No one said anything they just watched Al squeeze his eyes shut and knuckles turn white clutches his shirt.

"What" a quiet voice said.

Harry saw it was Ginny who said it.

Al looks at her "my dad is dead" his voice cracked.

"No, he can't be" Sirius said.

Al could only look away.

"NO" Sirius yelled and he hugs Harry to him protectively.

Remus had a tear fall as everyone was either crying, close to crying, or to shocked to do anything. "When...how" he said he did not recognize his own voice.

"My dad was an Auror" Al said eyes looking lost "he knew that his job was dangerous but that's what he lives for is danger, but he always came home, he was able to go to work and still make time for family".

"When" harry said finding his voice.

"4 years this October...I was 13".

"2019" Sirius says "no...hes to young to go...not even forty yet....why".

"I ask that question almost everyday" al said finally looking at them his eyes Misty "why is a question no one can answer... Dad always said he can't promise he'll always come home but he can promise he'll always try...it was Halloween 38 years to the day of his parents death. Dad always takes Halloween off but he was called in cause 5 shops in hogsmeade blew up and had no choice all he wanted to do was go to his parents grave like every Halloween" a lump formed in his throat "they thought they got everything under control and the person who did it caught so dad was investigating and a old death eater attacked him from behind with a cutting curse and the cruciatus curse the person who did it was so mad that dad didn't show any pain... when Dad looked him in the eye he freaked out, it's like he's looking into your soul so the guy bleached my fathers eyes, and well he stabbed my dad multiple times he died in the hospital that day" after every word he said his voice got broker and sadder.

No one said anything only tears fall.

"When it happened me James and Lily were at Hogwarts. Chloe showed up and told us that dad was at st mungo's we went immediately...I watched my father fight for his life. I remember clearly how it felt...me and my dad were pretty close, cause I am so much like him but I'm do different at the same time, I was different from the other kids where they didn't want to be seen with there parents I actually liked hanging out with them...my dad didn't deserve to die that day he should still be alive today..." Al felt a tear fall down "damn" he muttered "now I'm crying again".

Molly hugged him "it's ok to cry".

"I know" al said "i just don't like crying in front of others".

Harry says "I don't like it either".

"It's cruel..." Al says "you died when I needed you the most...me and James were going through puberty one of the most important times a boy needs there father" he says quietly "I don't think I've ever seen Toby cry before that...it made everyone even more upset cause Toby never cries he's always protecting his feelings from Chloe James me Lily Jackie and Harriet he's the oldest of all of us and doesn't want to look weak in front of us".

"Enough sad stuff it hasn't happened yet" Harry said softly he was pale and green.

"Pup are you alright" Sirius said worried.

"I think I'm going to be sick" he ran from the room followed by Hermione Ginny and Remus to help him.

"I can't believe he's pregnant" Sirius sighed covering his face "how come no one knew he was into blokes as well as girls...i hoped he was still innocent".

Al grins slightly "dad had it ruff this year coming up".

"What happened" Harry said coming back in still looking pale and peaky.

"You see, ever since you found out your pregnant to the day you died you would write in a never ending journal no matter what" al said "everyone eventually found out you were pregnant but no one knew who the father was only very few knew...you told us that one day he will tell us everything on our 17th birthday".

"How come you know everything already your 16" Ron asked.

"Mom told me sooner for a reason I'll probably more then likely share in a little bit. But dad put a spell on the book that it'll split into 6 if he were to die, cause he wants us to know everything that happens cause he doesn't think he'll be ever to tell us in person without getting side tracked... Mom said she'll duplicate it until one more when bug turns 17".

"Who's bug" Ginny said.

"Oh it's Harriet, I gave her the nickname bug when she was born and I guess it stuck...but anyways he made it to where we can receive it when we are 17 or older and well my situation is a little different...I keep it on me at all times no matter what"

"Can you read some of them, now I'm curious".

"Yeah it explains a lot about the war and stuff like that".
