Meredith stood in the kitchen, making spaghetti for dinner, and she was nervous.

Alvin entered the house and hugged his wife, kissed her on the lips, and kissed back.

Alvin said," Hey, babe. How was your day?

Meredith said," It was good. Got a lot of grocery shopping done today. So that's good.

Alvin said," Thank you. You're the best wife ever, and I'm lucky to have you in my life.

Alvin served Meredith a plate and then made his own plate, and they sat down and ate together.

Alvin said," I missed you a lot, Meredith.

Meredith said," I missed you too, babe.

Alvin cleaned up the table, and Meredith put the leftovers away, and they worked together to clean up everything.

Alvin then got a shower, dressed in PJ’S and headed to the living room to watch TV.

Meredith said," Alvin, there's something I need to tell you. It's very important, Alvin.

Alvin turned off the TV and looked at his wife and said," Are you okay, Meredith? Are you not feeling well? I will get you anything you need, babe. You're making me worry.

Meredith said," I am fine. I'm sorry for making you worried. I just want to tell you that I'm pregnant. You're going to be a dad.

Alvin held his wife by the waist, lifted her up, spun her around gently to not make her dizzy and hugged her, and kissed her.

Alvin said," I'm so excited to be a dad, babe.

Meredith said," I'm excited to be a mom as well, babe.

Both Alvin and Meredith brushed their teeth and headed to bed, ready to sleep.
