Alvin hummed softly as he took a milk carton out of the fridge. He paused when he saw Brittany.

" whats up Brittany?" He asked her happily.

"Alvin.....I got some bad news."
Alvin frowned.  "What is it?"

"Alvin....im breaking up with you." She said looking uncomfortable.

Alvins bottom lip quivered. "But.....why Brittany? "

"I just don't like you like that anymore. "

Brittany started to turn away but Alvin grabbed her wrist.

"But Brittany.....I love you." Alvins eyes were filled with tears.

"It isn't enough Alvin." Brittany started to cry herself.

Alvin wiped his tears away with his sleeve as an attempt to look strong.

" I can change Brittany."

She shook her head. "I don't think so Alvin."

Alvin couldn't take it anymore he finally broke. He fell to his knees burying his face in his hands and started to cry.

He felt two arms wrap around his waist hugging him. It was Brittany. She reached out for him and wiped away his tears.

"Brit....Brittany?!" Alvin choked on a sob desperately.

"Shhh." Brittany shushed him.
"I love you Alvin."

Alvin looked up with hope. "But you said....!"

"It was a dare Alvin." Brittany said.

"Oh." Alvin felt instant relief.
"So you're not breaking up with me?"

"Not even if everyone in the world dared me to."

"Don't scare me like that Brittany!" He paused and said"you know I do love you."

"I love you too Alvin. "
