Here's my entry for the third round. I hope it meets all requirements.

Okay so I don't know why but as soon as the read the story summary, I immediately knew I was gonna make a typographic cover. (And doesn't it look marvelous? Eeekkk.Whoops! Fangirling over my own design. So  unprofessional). Anyways, I'm not familar with the author's idea for the story so I tried my best to express the way I saw it. I hope the quality's well and good.
