Berlin and Gaster haven't spoken in hours, everybody began to feel uncomfortable. Sans and Papyrus tried several times during the day to get them to make up, but to no success... Berlin felt awful for what he said, he continued to text Purrla who felt awful for making him teleport them to Alterfell. Gaster was still happy and timid around his family and friends, but as soon as Berlin entered the room Gaster became quiet and cold. Dayne and Eras even tried to distract them two but, again to no success. Gaster was napping on the couch, Berlin was upstairs playing video games. Dayne and Eras sat in the kitchen with the adults. "I wish we knew what they fought about so we can help..." Toriel said, she sighed "I just know it's something about Berlin saying something that pissed Gaster off". Eras looked down, she closed her eyes. "If he's like Sans then Berlin will just get the silent treatment for a few days" Papyrus said, looking up from his phone.

"I dunno Paps, Seems like they'll be mad for a while" Sans said, looking nervous. "I feel bad too..." Papyrus said, looking down. "Why Dad? You did nothing wrong" Eras said, looking at her father. "I kinda did... I banned the Twins from the castle" Papyrus said, Sans looked at him. "What? Why? The twins are tough to handle but nothing they do is bad enough to ban them" Sans said, looking at Paps. "I dunno... They told me why Gaster and Berlin weren't home and I just lost it, I didn't scream but I just told them to not come back." Papyrus said, Eras looked at him. "Well... It's not their fault, it's Dayne's" Eras said, Dayne looked at her. "Me!? What did I do?" Dayne asked, Eras glared at him. "Your the one who thought it was such a good idea to go to a different AU" Eras said, Dayne opened his mouth to say something then he realized she was right. "That's fair" Dayne said, Toriel rested her hand on his shoulder. "It's nobody's fault, nobody is in trouble, okay?" Toriel smiled, Dayne smiled. "So what do we do about them?" Eras asked, Gaster had just woken up and heard talking in the kitchen. "We'll just let them work it out, they can't hate each other forever" Sans said, Paps was starting to speak but Sans glared at him.

Gaster looked down, feeling guilty but he shook it off. It's not his fault Berlin didn't listen to him, he warned him! Gaster glared at Berlin's room, he looked at the kitchen and sighed. Remembering something....

{Flashback}

"Stop..."

"Gaster? What did I do wrong?"

"You know what you did! You didn't listen to me, and now Look at you!"

"Gaster... Everything will be fine"

"Stop saying that! Nothing is fine! Your dying, Sans is upset and Paps is stressed!"

"Gaster... then why are you mad at me?"

"I just wanted to protect you, I don't want to lose you Chara"

"Gaster... Everything will be fine, We'll be okay!"

"No.... I failed you... I let you do this, and nobody else knows..."

"It's gonna be okay.... It'll all be fine"

"I promise everyday your at the surface, just think of all the memories we had..."

"Good times, bad times, even boring times... Remember them, cause in the future you'll never know what happens"

"The next person I meet.... I promise I won't lose them..."

"I know you'll keep that promise, won't you?"

{End of Flashback}

Gaster sighed, he almost failed that promise....

{Meanwhile}

Chara stood up, looking at Fame and Fortune. She then turned her gaze up at Frisk, her arms were crossed.

"So? Is anybody gonna tell me what happened?" Chara asked, Frisk looked down at her. "Why the hell are you so tall all of a sudden?" Chara asked, glaring at Frisk. "Frisk and us two revived you! Your Chara, right?" Fortune asked, Chara nodded slowly. "That was a big mistake, I don't want to live in the Monster world! I already served my time, why make me suffer more?" Chara growled, Frisk hesitated. "We live on the surface now... What do you mean suffer? As far as we know, Sans and Paps miss you" Fame said, Chara rolled her eyes. "Oh please! Don't make me laugh, them two could care less! Gaster stood by my side all the time, I rarely ever saw them two. Only times were dinner, lunch, and whenever they don't have anything to do!" Chara said, Frisk coughed. "Sans, Paps, and Gaster miss you!" Fortune said, Chara clenched her fists. "Gaster died.... I saw him.... I heard him..." Chara growled, Fortune and Fame glanced at each other.

*You say for Chara to come to the castle with you anyways, that there is a suprise waiting for her

"Fine... I'll go... Not like I have a choice" Chara said, she followed them out of the Lab.

{Back at the Castle}

Gaster just sat there, he looked at the locket around his neck. Opening it up to see a picture of him and Chara, thousands of years ago. Berlin was in his room, he couldn't stop thinking about what he said. He decided maybe a nap would help, naps always help. He layed on his bed, staring at the ceiling but he just couldn't fall asleep. He heard something on his window, as he got up to check he saw Fame and Fortune throwing rocks at his window. "What?" Berlin asked, opening the window. "We have a suprise for Gaster! Come down and help us!" Fame shouted, Berlin flinched. "I'm going my homework!" Berlin lied, Fame gave him a confused look. "Berlin! Just help us!" Fortune shouted, Berlin slammed the window closed. He flopped onto his bed, face first on his pillow.

Gaster looked up at Berlin's bedroom, he sighed.... He got up and walked upstairs, as he stood outside the door he started thinking. Berlin should apologize to him, right? Gaster did nothing wrong, he warned him... Gaster lifted his sleeve to knock on the door, but he hesitated. The door flew open, Berlin stood at the doorway staring at Gaster. Gaster didn't know what to say, both boys started at each other in silence. "Ber-" Gaster began, but Berlin interrupted him with a hug. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean anything I said, I should've listened to you instead of running off like that! I just can't stand to be ingored anymore, please forgive me" Berlin apologized, Gaster froze. He didn't know what to say, he slowly hugged him back. "It's my fault... I should've kept a better eye on you, and I can't stand igoring you for long either.... It's alright, the past hurts me lot but I just love hanging out with you guys.... That's all I want, and that's all I need.... I'm sorry" Gaster smiled, Berlin smiled.

{With Chara, Frisk, Fame and Fortune}

"So? Are we going in?" Chara asked, really impatient. "We can't, because we're banned" Fame said, Chara raised an eyebrow. "I like these kids" Chara smiled, Frisk sighed. She knocked on the door, Papyrus answered. He froze as he saw Frisk, then welcomed her in a big hug. "FRISK! YOUR BACK!" Papyrus shouted, Sans ran to the door. "Frisk? Kid!" Sans hugged, Frisk who returned the hug. Chara rolled her eyes, Frisk looked at Chara then smiled.

*You say you brought someone as a present

"Oh Kid, you didn't have to do that" Sans smiled, Papyrus chuckled. Frisk stepped out of the way, Chara looked up at Sans and Papyrus who stared at her. "..." Chara stared at them, in shock and in horror. Paps and Sans returned the same stare, Chara didn't know what to say.

"Brothers....?"
