School ended for the day, and Gaster was nervous into coming home. He rode on the bus with all his nephew's and niece, and their friends. He was alone, since he felt like it would be embarrassing for him to hang out with his nephew's and niece and Monsters that would be his age group are much to older for him... He sighed looking out the window, maybe he can be home schooled like Eras and Berlin. Berlin took public and homeschool sometimes... "Hey buddy" Gaster looked up, seeing Fortune stand before him. "Uh.... Howdy" Gaster looked away, Fortune sat besides him. "What would it take to make you feel better?" Fortune asked, Gaster chuckled and turned to her. "Magically bring Chara back, that would make me happy... I'm kidding, I am already happy and grateful. These groups of kid's... I should be in High School by now... Instead of elementary" Gaster looked down, Fortune stared at her shoes. "I wish there was a way I could make you into a High Schooler, than you'd be with Aunt Frisk" Fortune smiled. "Aunt? So she's related to me..." Fortune shook her head, then chuckled. "No... We just call her that, hey! Wanna play hide and seek when we get home? The group was gonna divide into boys vs. girls" Fortune said, pointing to her squad. "I don't want to interfere" Gaster said, chuckling at the offer. "It's no big deal! You missed out alot, we just want to hang out with you!" Fortune smiled, Gaster smiled. "Okay.... Wouldn't it be uneven then?" Gaster asked, Fortune thought for a minute. "We'll make it work" The bus pulled in on their street, Gaster grabbed his back. He walked towards the castle, seeing Berlin and Eras waiting for him. "You set snow on fire on your first day?" Eras instantly asked, Berlin laughed at the thought. "To be fair, Dayne slammed head first into the locker" Berlin chuckled, Dayne hit Berlin slightly. "We didn't get in trouble" Gaster assured, Eras nodded. "Ask Aunt Undyne" Dayne sighed, he walked into the castle. "Maybe I should be home schooled..." Gaster said quietly, Berlin looked at him. "It's hard work, but it's fun!" Berlin smiled, Eras agreed. Fortune pushed pass the two cousins, then smiled confidently. "NO TIME TO WORRY ABOUT SCHOOL! IT'S TIME FOR HIDE AND GO SEEK!" Berlin nodded, so did Eras. Gaster seemed afraid, somehow he knew something was gonna go wrong....

Gaster walked into the castle, seeing Dayne sit on the couch with his arms crossed. "The Principal lied to us" He said, Gaster awkwardly looked at his brothers and Dayne's parents. "Uh...." Gaster sat down, looking at Dayne. "Are we in trouble....?" Gaster asked, slowly averting his eyes towards his older brothers. "I'm not even sure anymore...." Dayne whispered back, moving closer to him. "Whatever the Principal told you, it was not Uncle Gaster's fault!" Dayne said, Gaster slowly nodded. "Kinda figured, Gaster doesn't have fire powers" Sans said, Gaster quickly looked at Dayne. "You have fire powers?" Dayne nodded, Gaster facepalmed. "I didn't tell you?" Dayne asked, Gaster looked up at him. "Nobody told me anything about themselves, so currently besides my brothers I'm living with strangers..." Dayne looked down, then he agreed. "Well that's fair, so I'm Dayne and I'm 10" "I know that, Dayne" Gaster interrupted, he chuckled. "I know your names and ages already, it's just everything else I don't know" Gaster said, Dayne nodded. "Either way, You set school property on fire" Undyne said, glaring at Dayne. "To be Fair, Snow isn't school property" Dayne said, Gaster shook his head. "Technically is since the School provided it" Gaster mentioned, Dayne turned to him. "Who's side are you on?" He asked, Gaster shrugged. "That's besides the point, you burnt something at school" Undyne said, sounding slightly suprised.

"Can I go back outside if I'm not in trouble" Papyrus nodded, Gaster got up when Dayne tugged on his sweater. "Don't leave me here..." Dayne begged, Gaster smiled. "I would love to stay and enjoy this wonderful show that's happening, but the children out there need adult supervision and since I'm their Uncle I have to go" Gaster started backing up towards the door. "DONT LEAVE ME!" Dayne shouted, reaching his hand out. "I'm a skeleton, I don't have ears! Can't hear you, sorry!" Gaster raced out of the door, leaving Dayne behind. As Gaster stood outside, he looked at the children. "I told you it would work out" Fortune smiled, Gaster chucked. "Boys vs. Girls, Gaster you'll be with Berlin and Fame since Dayne isn't here" Fortune smiled, Gaster nodded. "Okay... So you know the rules, Leave clues" Fortune smiled, everybody nodded. "Boys will hide first, Girls will hunt. Ready. Go!" The girls covered their eyes, Berlin pulled on Gaster's sleeve leading him towards the back of the castle. They ran towards a small hole and crawled into it, Berlin then pulled a rock over them. It was dark, until Berlin lit his finger on fire. "So..." Gaster had no clue what to say to him, what was a kid like Berlin interested in. "You know... Dayne has done a lot of stupid things in his 10 years of life... So whenever one of us kids do something stupid, our parents look at him" Berlin whispered, Gaster looked up at him. "Why?" He asked, Berlin chuckled. "He's not so smart, and he's the oldest out of all of us" Berlin replied, Gaster smiled. "So... How was your life? Ya know in the underground?" Berlin asked, Gaster chuckled. "Chara and I did alot of dumb things in our days, I remember we would eat all the food in the fridge, we would wake up Sans and Paps whenever they slept late... We were a troublesome duo" Gaster smiled, Berlin leaned back.

"Chara had a creepy face, so whenever she didn't get her way she would use it. It used to scare Paps, and it use to make Sans question everything about her, but then it didn't effect them anymore. So she tried making me do a scary face, I at the time... I couldn't scare anybody! Chara said I was to adorable, but one day I make a face even scarier then hers, but I was embarrassed so... Never did it again" Gaster leaned against the wall, he sighed. "Life was great, until..." Gaster looked up, seeing Berlin smiling at him. "I don't know... I miss her, and Frisk" Gaster chuckled, he heard footsteps above him. Berlin and Gaster went silent, exchanging faces they looked up.

"What are you guys looking at?" Somebody whispered, Berlin and Gaster froze. They slowly turned around, seeing a shadow. "Whatever you scared of, can't be as scary as I am" Berlin lit his hand on fire, the shadow was revealed as Toriel. Both boys screamed, Tori laughed. "Mom! You said you wouldn't do that!" Toriel chuckled looking at Berlin. "Yes, but I didn't promise" She said, Gaster grabbed on to his chest taking a deep breath. "Sorry Kiddos, I got bored" Toriel leaned back, closing her eyes. "Who we hiding from?" She asked, keeping her eyes closed. "The girls, We're playing hide and Seek..." Berlin replied, Tori nodded. "Wait... How do we get out?" Gaster asked, Berlin froze as the rock began to move.
