A Big Misunderstanding
(Sans' POV)
One of my Gaster blasters fires first, catching Undyne off guard. But she still manages avoid my attack. Spears fly towards me, making me jump out of the way. Blue magic grips her soul, holding her in place. I remember that Papyrus's fighting style relies on more on physical attacks then magic. But mine and Zeke's are all magic based. Undyne is thrown back from me and into a wall, not hard enough to severely wound her though, obviously.
She yells at me and charges with more spears flying along side her. I twirl out of the way, but a spear catches my sleeve and sends me flying back. I hit the cave wall with the force of a small truck. Ouch, that really hurt. I try to move alway from the wall, only to find that the spear is buried deep in the wall, effectively pinning me. I need my left hand to cast blue magic! I try to rip my sleeve away, even when I hear the pounding of Undyne's metal boots crashing towards me.
Before I'm impaled with Undyne's spear, a fireball comes flying towards us, knocking the spear out of Undyne's hands. "Stop it you idiots! Your on the same side so stop killing each other already!", Toriel yells before marching over to me and ripping my sleeve off the wall. "But Toriel! He's an intruder in Waterfall.....", Undyne wines. "And you didn't notice that he's a skeleton? How many skeletons do you see here in the Underground? Oh that's right, only Papyrus. And this isn't Papyrus", Tori says while gesturing to me.
"Oh, he is a skeleton. Who the heck are you?", Undyne asks me. "I-I'm Sans. Papyrus's brother. Nice to meet you", I reply while extending my hand. "No way you're the king's brother, he died a long time ago. Nice try though", Undyne smirks. I lower my hand back to my side. "But I am his brother! I can prove it!", I protest. I usually don't like to flaunt a weakness, but I need Undyne to trust me if I'm ever going to get to Papyrus. I wrap my arm around my staff and use it support my weight. I balance on one foot and hold out my other leg to expose the twisted bones that I had been born with.
"You're the missing prince!? Where the heck have you been all thus time?", Undyne yells while finally disintegrating the spear she's been holding. I sigh in relief at not bring threatened anymore. "Sp are you going to see Papyrus? Kill him and take his thrown?", Undyne asks with a sadistic grin. "N-No! I can't kill him! Besides, I wouldn't have to kill him to become king", I blurt out. "What? How would that work?", Toriel asks. Me and my big mouth.......
".......My parents told everyone that Papyrus was older because of my leg. But in reality..... I'm the oldest. And the rightful ruler of the underground."
