A/N: Okay this one is an alternative to 'Break My Heart' chapter in 'Love Hurts' book! The hospital scene that I thought should've happened! Enjoy!

Pam was at home helping Gabi get baby clothes together and helping her put them in order. The other kids were off doing their own things and Ethan was sleeping in the next room so Pam had a baby monitor with her to keep an eye on him. Just then Pam's phone rang.

"Hello? Hey Sami, what's up?" Pam said answering her phone.

"Pam, you need to get to the hospital!" Sami replied.

"What? Why? What's happened?" Pam asked.

"Fergal attempted suicide, they have him on the ventilator and his in a coma" Sami said.

Pam just dropped her phone on the floor in shock as tears started rolling down her face.

"Pam!.... Pam are you there?..... Pam!" Sami could be heard yelling in the phone.

"Yeah I'm here!...... I'm on my way" was all Pam could say as she hung up the phone. She just stood there in shock before she burst into tears.

"Hey mum, do you kno....." Gabi was asking her mum but stopped when she saw her mother in tears as she was grabbing her car keys. "Mum....what's going on?" Gabi asked hugging her mum.

"Your dad tried to kill himself...." was all Pam could say as Gabi dropped the onsie she was holding........

At the hospital Pam and the kids all rushed inside and found Fergal's room. Walking in they saw Fergal lying there hooked up to the machines around him and you could hear the beeping of his heart through the machine. Before Pam could move towards him the kids all rushed to his side, Gabi reaching out and grabbing his hand and lifted it up to her cheek as she struggled to hold back the tears.

"Daddy, please daddy wake up! I'm so sorry for yelling at you, I love you and I need you. Please daddy don't leave me" Gabi sobbed as the tears started rushing down her face.

Just then the door open and Rachel came in and when she saw Pam in there with the kids  she started to boil. She was fuming that Pam was there and that she had brought her kids. Rachel stood there with her arms crossed and watched. 

With Rachel watching but Pam having no idea she was even in the room, Pam sat on the bed next to him and took his hand in hers as she gently brought it up to her lips and kissed it before holding it close to her cheek.

"Oh Fergie!" Pam said trying not to cry, "I'm not leaving your side. I'm right here and I'm gonna be here. I miss you so much, I love you so much. I hope when you wake up you can forgive me. I hope you don't hate me" Pam said as the tears leaked out of her eyes, without second though Pam leaned in close to Fergal and placed a light kiss on his lips.

"What the hell do you think your doing" Rachel asked in disgust after seeing Pam kiss Fergal.

"I'm here for Fergal" Pam said not moving from Fergal's side.

"No! Get out! Your not his girlfriend anymore. You're with Carter, your not with him anymore so get the fuck out you bitch and take your little brats with you!" Rachel spat walking further into the room towards Fergal.

Pam stood up from the bed not moving away from Fergal and faced Rachel. Pam was seething after Rachel called her and Fergal's kids brats, the kids turned to Rachel trying to block her from going anywhere near their dad.

"Your lucky my kids are here cos I was this close to slapping the taste right out of your mouth" Pam spat back at Rachel.

"Ohh are you threatening me Pamela?" Rachel replied smirking at Pam.

"Take as you want but my kids have a right to see their father, when they want whenever they want and you can't stop them from doing so" Pam said standing her ground against Rachel.

"I don't give a damn, just get your little bastard brats and get the fuck out" Rachel yelled at Pam now, Rachel was fuming.

"You little bitch, how dare you! I'd leave if I were you before I flatten you where you stand, no one talks about my kids in that way. NO ONE!" Pam yelled back clutching and unclutching her hand.

"You little- " Rachel started saying but was cut off by a voice that wasn't hers or Pam's.

"Don't ever talk about my kids again" Fergal said groggily slowly opening his eyes.

"Oh my god! Fergal!" Pam gasped turning around and seeing Fergal opening his eyes as she grabbed his hand.

"Where am I?" Fergal groaned trying to move.

"It's okay Fergal, you're okay. Don't try not to move your hooked up to a few machines. Just try and relax" Pam said rubbing his arm trying to reassure him so he can relax.

"Fergie, tell that bitch to leave and to take them with her. You don't need them, you have me, that's all you need!" Rachel said.

"Get the fuck out Rachel!" Fergal yelled as he was starting to get stressed and the machines were going crazy while he was trying to sit up.

"Fergal you need to calm down, it's okay. Please I need you to be calm" Pam said hold Fergal down stopping him sitting up.

"Why are you kicking me out? That bitch should be the one being kicked out" Rachel yelled in shock.

"I want Pam and our kids to stay but I want you to get the fuck out Rachel, GET OUT!" Fergal screamed as Pam was struggling to get him to calm down. She cupped his face making him look at her.

"Fergal look at me, it's okay I promise please you need to calm down. Please Fergal for me, please relax" Pam begged looking him the eyes as she rubbed his cheeks with her thumbs.

"Fine, but don't come crawling back to me Fergal!" Rachel spat before turning heel and walking out of Fergal's room.

"Daddy, oh daddy I'm so happy you woke up. I'm so sorry daddy I love you so much" Gabi spoke up after Fergal had calmed down.

"Oh sweetheart, I love you too. Come here" Fergal said as Gabi rested her head on her dad's chest as he pulled her in close to him before placing a kiss on her forehead.

Looking up at Pam, Fergal smiled at her before he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it, finally he could felt a warm calmness overtake his body and he was finally able to relax........
