(I wrote 4 parts for this before I made this book lmao.)

It was the end of the school day and everyone was leaving school, to either go home, spend time with friends, or go enjoy the peaceful autumn weather.

Danny had walked out of the school building with his arms behind his head, his friends on either side of him as they headed somewhere to eat. Tucker , being the techno geek he was, was doing something on his PDA with a look of interest. And Sam was reading the school newspaper about the different things happening at Casper high.

Tucker rose a brow of intrigue after a while at what he was looking at on the screen and turned to look at his friends, an unbelieving expression on his face," Guys?"

Danny glanced at Tucker, raising a brow as well," What is it?"

Sam looked up at them, wondering what happened while silently studying the exchange.

Tucker grinned widely, waving his PDA slightly, " Apparently a LOT of people, mostly kids, started believing in Santa Claus, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy, sandman, the boogey man, and a guy named Jack Frost a few months ago. Some accounts say they SAW them and everything! It's nuts!"

Danny's eyes widened and he looked over Tucker's shoulder to view what his teal eyed friend was looking at," Really?? That's cool."

Tucker once again rose a brow, a smirk on his face," cool? Like icy kind of cool?"

Danny grinned impishly, nodding with a smile," Totally! It chills my core just thinking about it! We already know sandman to be real through Nocturne. So there's a possibility they're all real."

Sam groaned at the puns, setting her right hand on her waist while rolling her eyes before a thoughtful look took over, " You guys are unbelievable ..... Although.....You kinda make a point Danny.... Still, a bunch of legends? It's kinda hard to believe that.."

Danny smiled, putting his hands in his pockets, " I would believe that."

Tucker nodded, starting to search up more stuff about it," Me too. Especially since sandman's real and all."

Sam sighed, huffing, " Ok, you two WOULD believe that. But I'm not easily as convinced. I need to see proof of it first. "

Danny chuckled, shrugging, " Whatever you say, Sam."

They had eventually reached the Nasty Burger, the burger joint of town. It was where they usually got there food.

They walked inside, ordered their food, and sat down at one of the booths. Tucker then smirked, showing Sam his PDA screen proudly. He spoke triumphantly, a 'i won' gleam in his eyes behind his glasses, " Take a look at THIS."

Sam rolled her eyes, looking at the image on the screen. Her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates at what she saw.

Danny glanced at the screen as well, confused. Then his eyes widened. It seemed to be footage on the night before Easter day. It showed a shadowy figure with long ear like things erupting from its head walking around placing something on the ground. The video was time skipped to Easter day and it showed that what the figure placed had been easter eggs.

Both Sam and Danny were surprised by this. Especially Sam.

Tucker grinned, crossing his arms proudly, " The shadow looked like a giant rabbit. Do you believe NOW , Sam?"

Sam narrowed her eyes and huffed," That could've been a person in a fur suit. Besides, I need the proof to be right in front of my face and not on an electronic screen. "

Tucker sighed, shrugging," If ya say so.." He then started eating his food, close to devouring it.

Sam did as well, except way slower than Tucker. Danny grinned as he started to eat too. If these legends WERE real, he would love to meet them, even for a little while..

Danny's day was officially ruined. Why and how was it ruined, you may ask? Cuz one of the ghost who he thought changed for the BETTER turned back to their evil doing ways! Like.... WHO DOES THAT?!

Danny dodged one of the blasts sent his way, yelling while glaring at the ghost in front of him," SKULKER , COME ON MAN! I THOUGHT WE WERE PASSED THIS!"

Skulker grinned cruelly, shooting more blasts at the teenager while speaking in a booming voice," passed this? I think not, welp!"

Danny's eyes glowed as he shot a green blast at a red blast from skulker, effectively stopping it from nearing him," Skulker, we both know your better than this! We talked about this! Now please, stop and rethink this-"

Danny yelped as a blast hit his shoulder, sending him flying backwards. Intense pain flared up, Danny wincing and grabbing his shoulder in reflex.

As he was spinning through the air, Danny saw a glimpse of another person he thought had changed. It was the fruitloop, also known as Vlad Plasmius.

Danny righted himself quickly, turning to face Vlad with an angry gaze," Vlad! "

Vlad smirked, arms behind his back as he floated, " Did you really think that we would've changed after all this time?"

Danny deadpanned, a frown settling on his features, " Actually, Yeah. I did. Vlad, we made a truce, remember?!  "

Vlad smirked, chuckling darkly," Oh, I never made such a 'truce'. Don't you remember? I said specifically,' that I would THINK about it'. I never said that I would agree."

Danny's eyes widened, feeling hurt. Then he narrowed his eyes, feeling rage bubble up in his core, " Vlad, why?! "

Vlad's eyes flared in anger, a low growl sounding from the older Halfa as said halfa pointed at the teen, " Do NOT raise your voice at me, young man! Why?! Because I STILL want your mother! THAT'S why! And I also want you, Young Daniel, as MY son instead of you being the son of that dolt you call a father!"

Danny flew backwards slightly away from Vlad, eyes wide. Yep, the fruitloop was crazier than he thought.... Well... Danny should've seen it coming to be honest, especially since the guy LITERALLY didn't seem to have ANY morals when it came to getting his mother. And he was originally crazy to begin with.

" Vlad, this is wrong! You can't FORCE my mom to love you! And you can't force me to be your son! " Danny straightened in the air, glaring at the older Halfa while straightening his shoulder defiantly.

Vlad smirked, his dark chuckling coming back," Oh young badger, Oh how terribly wrong you are..."

Before Danny could question what he meant by that, he was hit in the back by a missile. Danny yelled, getting blasted into a wall.

He fell to the ground, groaning in pain. He had almost forgotten about the armored hunter ghost being there...

Danny struggled to stand, feeling pain all over. He then glared at the ghost and halfa, feeling anger fill him.

But before he could say anything, he realized a couple things. The first was the fact that his friends hadn't been fighting. The second being the reason why. Danny's eyes widened in shock, fear filling him as the feeling of dread rushed back into his core.

Skulker was holding both of them up in a net, a smug expression on his face. Both were attempted to get out as well as get the apparent ducktape that gagged them off.

Vlad shared the smug expression, smirking while folding his arms behind his back," Young Daniel, if you don't comply, well.... Let's just say your friends will suffer a fate worse than death."

Danny's eyes widened, him freezing. He couldn't let his friends die. He would never forgive himself for it. Hell, his obsession wouldn't allow him to...

He attempted to hide the fear , attempted to put a brave face on...
Danny looked at his friends' expressions. Tucker's was filled with fear. Of course he was terrified. Who wouldn't be?

And sam's... Her's read,' don't FUCKING believe this BULLSHIT.'

If the situation wasn't so dire , he would've laughed. But right now, his friends VERY lives depended on him.

He wasn't about to let them be harmed... Even if it cost the human half of himself...

Danny took a deep breath before he lowered his head, reluctantly speaking,".............fine... I'll...... Comply.... I..... I'll do what you say..... Just... Don't hurt them..."

Both Sam and Tucker yelled out muffledly, most likely trying to tell him  that it was a bad idea. He put a brave face on, looking up...

And ending up freaking out when he saw his best friends get thrown in the air, Skulker aiming at them with one of his blasters.

Danny yelled with wide panicking eyes, anger in his voice, " WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I SAID I WOULD COMPLY!"

Vlad smirked, his sharp teeth visible, " I was planning on killing them anyways, it is a mercy after all.."

As Skulker's blaster changed, Danny had never been faster then now. Danny immediately flew up, only to have his arm grabbed by Vlad.

Danny twisted his body around and kicked Vlad hard in the face, which caused Vlad to yelp and let the teenager go on accident.

Danny then flew up being filled with what could only be considered a courageous feat and tried to grab his two best friend's out of the air. Danny glanced back at the two villains, only to realized that Skulker had fired at that exact moment.

Time seemed to slow as the blast got closer to them. Danny knew that he didn't have enough time to fly out of the way with his friends. The blast was too fast for that. He looked to his friends, some of the people he cared about deeply.

Danny felt a burst of Determination flood over him, him quickly pushing Sam and Tucker out of the way.

Vlad was screaming angriely," NO!!!"

Sam and Tucker screamed in worry through the gag, although it sounded like they were trying to scream his name in fear he was going to get hurt.

Danny glanced back at the blast, only to black out as it hit...
