..All legends have an inkling of truth.. 2
The battle field was large, blood and dust thick in the air. Shouts could be heard, the clangs of metal meeting blade and sheild as the battle commenced.
So many had died... So many lost their lives just to fight the enemy. And even so... The people fought. They didn't falter or run. They kept pushing through , hoping to win this battle and protect their homes from the invaders..
A roar sounded, golden eyelights flaring as the skeleton jumped into the air, swinging his twin swords down on his enemy's sheild.
The shield cracked under the magic weapons, the soldier glaring from under his helmet at the other as he pushed back.
They had been fighting since the battle had commenced, neither stepping down.
The skeleton swung his swords again, this time the golden magic blades meeting the other's dark ones. He grunted at the slight ache that shot up his arms, him struggling against the other.
There was more clashing between the two, the skeleton managing to finally win the stalemate between the two. He breathed heavily, his grip like iron on his swords as he swayed slightly.
"ARIUS!" , A voice rang through the air, catching the skeleton's attention immediately. His head shot towards the voice, his golden eyelights meeting lavender.
The owner of the voice was struggling against an enemy, his cape flying wildly in the wind caused by his movements. The other's crown glinted in the sunlight..
The skeleton called back, him starting to race towards the other with a slight panic," My Majesty!"
The king kicked his enemy away, giving the other skeleton enough time to reach them. Arius threw one of his blades towards the enemy, effectively dusting them on the spot.
He made it to the king's side, him panting heavily as he spoke," Are you alright, King?"
The king nodded, him studying the other for a moment before he glanced away," Yes... Are you alright, love?"
The shorter sputtered, his face filling with a blush that matched his swords colors," My Lord, now isn't the time for flattery! ...... But yes, I'm fine..." Arius coughed awkwardly into his hand to dispose of his growing blush, him becoming serious once more," The enemy keeps coming... If we don't stop this soon, there will be no one left to fight with us.."
The king looked back at Arius, his expression matching the conversation," I know... That's why I plan on going after Mordred myself."
Arius frowned," That will be near impossible.. He has Excalibur in his grasp... The power he gained from your sword is making him near invincible!"
"I know. But, I hopefully can use this and take back what's mine...", The king spoke, him lifting up his staff to show his point. The staff was the same color as his magic, the crescent moon attached to it's top glinting in the sun's glare.
Arius spoke up, worry in his tone," Are you sure about this, Arthur..? He can easily kill-"
The king set his hand on the skeleton's shoulder, him speaking determinedly," I know that as well... Arius, you are the bravest knight I know.. You mean well, you always have. Will you stand by my side once more?"
Arius was quiet for a moment, unsure how he should respond....
Then he sighed, him speaking reluctantly," alright... I will."
The king smiled then, it genuine," Thank you, my star.... Let us go and finally win this battle...."
".....Together....."

Error grinned, holding up the finished quilt with a flourish.
It took what felt like ages to make.. But it was worth it! His eyelights are practically stars with how cool it looks!
The bottom still retained the same royal purple and gold accents as the top, the blade a sparkling silver with runes engraved into the metal. The runes seemed to glow in the light of the au as well, which was an even better touch in Error's opinion.
Error felt proud of himself, seeing as he didn't even have a image in his head when knitting the design. That was a plus.
The fabric was soft, now that he could focus on the other aspects of the material. And he could tell it was warm..
He wrapped it around himself, snuggling into the fabric with a smile. That's better...
He started putting his supplies away, humming a tune that he forgot the origin of. He kept the quilt out, wrapping it around his shoulders as he stood.
Now that he was done with the quilt, what should he do.... Maybe visit the Moon sanses?
.... Yeah, that sounds good.
Error nodded once to himself, opening a portal to Nightmare's castle.
