(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) followed Alternate Kai out of her bedroom, once his sister was done helping (Y/N). Alternate Kai was excited to get to spend time with (Y/N).

Alternate Kai lead (Y/N) all the way to to the entertainment room, movie already waiting to be played and fresh food just begging to be eaten.

"You know something? You really are...the most beautiful thing in the world." Alternate Kai told her as he sat down on the large couch then gestured (Y/N) to sit beside him.

(Y/N) sat down and gave him an awkward smile, she really wasn't used to this.

"Um, thanks. I think." (Y/N) said unsure how to respond to that.As the pair sat on the huge couch watching a bad horror movie.

(Y/N) burst out laughing furring all the stupid movie deaths. Alternate Kai smiled as he watched (Y/N) laugh before gently patting her head.

"T-This is so funny! Haha!" (Y/N) chuckled softly as she continued to watch the film and Alternate Kai was munching on some snacks.

"(Y/N) you have no idea how good it feels to hear you laugh." Alternate Kai said to her with a big smile.

But in the back of his mind Alternate Kai was trying to hold back tears as a sudden stab of guilt hit him, not for kidnapping (Y/N) and helping remove her memory to make her their (Y/N), but for all the things he's done in his past life to (Y/N) before he'd lost her.

Alternate Kai began sifting and twisting in his seat. (Y/N) becoming more and more aware of the Ninja next to her having a slight panic attack.

Alternate Kai hated himself for what had happened to (Y/N), he still felt like the worst person in the world. He'd put her through so much before, now all he wanted is to give her all the happiness she deserved.

"I swear to god. If anyone ever hurt you, or ever made you the tiniest bit sad I will throw them off a cliff." Alternate Kai promised in a stern voice, jarring (Y/N)'s attention from the movie.

"Why'd you say that? Did something happen?" (Y/N) asked the red ninja next to her with a look of general confusion was on her face.

Alternate Kai panicked he hadn't meant to say that out loud. Alternate Kai quickly shook his head to clear his mind.

"A little argument before the explosion but other then that not much." Alternate Kai lied.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow to this and Alternate Kai burst out into tears. Repeating over and over again. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Burring himself into her arms as he did.

"Kai!? What happened? What's wrong?" (Y/N) questioned the Ninja of Fire, who was sobbing his eyes out in her arms.

Alternate Kai pulled back and looked into (Y/N)'s eyes. Alternate Kai's heart raced, he knew damn well that (Y/N) would only hate him even more if she found out they'd lied about everything.

He was once terrified to confess his feelings to (Y/N), thinking she would be weirded out and never talk to him again.

But now he was terrified that (Y/N) would find out they'd erased her memories and told her lies about who she is to ease the pain of losing her once before. And how'd he had been hoping he could win her heart this way.

(Y/N) would not only be even more weirded out! She'd be furious!

Alternate Kai wasn't going to let this happen, he couldn't! He can't let go of the one person who he'd done this all for, despite what he did! Alternate Kai wrapped his arms around her.

"You know, one of my favourite things to do is hold you like this." Alternate Kai murmured into her arms.

"It is?" (Y/N) said taken back a little at his comment."When you're in my arms I know that you're safe." Alternate Kai kissed (Y/N)'s cheek softly.

"I will make you the happiest person in the world." Alternate Kai nudged (Y/N) closer to his chest, she felt so warm and strong, yet gentle too.

Alternate Kai smiled to himself (Y/N) was here, safe in his arms. That all that mattered, right?

(Y/N) was going to live a long happy life with them, that they had a second chance to do this. To love each other. For them all to be together again.

That was worth all this guilt... Wasn't it?There was a loud crash as a body came falling through the entrance of the room.

Alternate Kai let out a gasp of horror as he watched (Y/N) raced to the person's side and turned them over... It was Cole.He was bloodied, bruised and unresponsive.

"Cole... Cole if you can hear me please say something." (Y/N) pleaded with the Master of Earth.Alternate Kai looked up to see Alternate Zane standing there with a smug look on his face.

"Maybe next time he will listen to me when I tell him there will be consequences if he messes up." Alternate Zane hissed at Alternate Cole.

Alternate Kai saw the look of rage in (Y/N)'s face and stood between her and Alternate Zane.

"(Y/N) don't." Alternate Kai warned fearful that Alternate Zane would hurt her too."Help Cole." Alternate Kai pleaded with her to save him.

(Y/N) looked at Cole then Zane, then back to Cole. Before deciding saving Cole was more important than beating up Zane.

(Y/N) gathered Cole up in her arms and took off to her room. Screaming for the others to help her as she did.Alternate Kai turned to Alternate Zane.

"What the hell did you do to Cole, Zane?" Alternate Kai asked in fear.

Alternate Zane let out a cold laugh. "He failed to protect (Y/N)." Alternate Zane pointed out to the Ninja of Fire.

"Don't fail at that and you'll have nothing to worry about." Alternate Zane warned before leaving.
