(Third Person P.O.V)

Alternate Nya strolled into (Y/N)'s room with a huge smile on her face. Her enthusiasm and joy were so infectious that even (Y/N) could feel it rubbing off on herself already.

(Y/N) looked at her friend with an uneasy smile. She wasn't used to infectious enthusiasm and joy so it was creeping her out.

"Hi, Nya are you feeling ok?" (Y/N) said trying to keep her tone neutral as to keep Nya calm and not entice her to lash out in any way.

"I just got the news. I'm here to help you." Nya said with eyes glowing with excitement.

"News? Help?" (Y/N) questioned unsure what Nya was talking about to her.

"I'll handle everything so you and my brother can just focus on getting ready and having a good time." Alternate Nya instructed (Y/N) with a huge smile on her face.

"Ok?" (Y/N) said out loud use of what to say. "Now let's get ready!" Alternate Nya assured (Y/N) and dived into (Y/N)'s closet and started pulling out outfits for (Y/N) to try on.

(Y/N) noticed that almost everything Nya pulled of the closet was some shade of red.

"Nya?" (Y/N) questioned holding up a red item of clothing. "Oh, Please." Alternate Nya pleaded with (Y/N). "It's my brothers favourite colour. It would make him really happy that'd you'd be willing to try wearing it."

(Y/N) let out a gruff sigh and said. "I'm already regretting this." Which Nya took for a yes. "Well, that was easier than I expected." Alternate Nya chuckled to herself and went back to pulling things out for (Y/N) to try on.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Ouch, my head..." Lloyd whined as he came to. Lloyd instantly sat up, taking in the view of the surroundings. Beside him was Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane lay sprawled out on the cold sidewalk.

Their experimental device must have worked, but had it sent them to the right place?

Once the Ninja's had awoken in their own dimension and realised their alternate selves were gone along with (Y/N) they realised something was very, very wrong.

It may have taken Zane, Jay and Nya a long time to build their own device from spare parts from Jay's parent's junkyard and Zane's memory about how the device was structured.

But once they had the device up and running they set off to find (Y/N) and bring her back.

Lloyd lent over to the nearest body and shook Kai's shoulder to wake him.

Kai let out a groan as his eyes fluttering open. "Did we make it?" Kai asked still groggy from the inter-dimensional trip.

"I think so, look around." Lloyd answered and Kai sat up. Soon after, Jay jolted awake in a blind panic, immediately going into a coughing attack.

"Why do I feel like I got hit with a brick?" Cole groaned, rubbing his head slightly.

"Hey, you guys okay?" Lloyd asked and they groaned back in response to his question.

Zane looked around and then turned to his brothers. "Brothers, did we make it?" Zane denoted to the others as he stood up.

"Well, it would be too easy if we just appeared right at the location of (Y/N)." Jay laughed to himself. The others nodded in agreement. However, they were unaware of what would be lurking up ahead...

The streets were really quiet. Almost too quiet. Lloyd and Jay were physically creeped out by the lack of noises you would ordinarily hear in streets.

There wasn't anyone, not even a rodent was in the streets. The Ninjas stepped cautiously, not knowing what would happen.

Out of nowhere, they heard something click and a high pitch whistle noise past them, along with a dash of wind. "RUN!" Jay screamed, the Ninja's desperately scrambled to get out of harm's way.

The Ninjas dogged and weaved until they were almost off of the streets and inside a warehouse, that was until they heard a pained scream from Cole.

Jay turned around, to see his best friend had been shot in the back with an arrow and dragged him inside the warehouse for safety.

Lloyd and Zane gasped in shock and quickly rushed over to help Jay with Cole.

"Cole! Are you okay?!" Lloyd screamed in panic, his face paled when he saw the arrow sticking out of Cole's back. Kai instantly fainted at the sight of an arrow sticking out of Cole's back.

"I'm fine, we need to keep running!" Cole winced in pain. They all knew he was lying but continued to run once Lloyd and Zane gathered Kai up and dragged him to safety.

They eventually made it to a safe spot inside an adjoining warehouse.

Everyone's breathing became heavy. However, it appeared Cole was the one who needed breath the most. Cole's breathing became forced and pained, his body was trembling, unmistakably suffering.

Jay was the most anxious over Cole's condition. Zane peaked out of one of the dirty windows, sighing in relief. "Whoever it was that was chasing us, they're gone for now."

"We need to rest for now, put Kai down somewhere safe then help me with Cole's wound." Jay organised as Cole tried to smile at them.

"A little arrow isn't going to stop me." Cole said though the pain was really too much for him to bear, he didn't want to admit that to his brothers.

Jay frowned slightly at Cole claims, as Lloyd and Zane put Kai down somewhere safe but out of the way.

Zane gently put a hand on Cole's shoulder to examine the wound. "It's not too deep I could extract it although I'm going to require some makeshift bandages.

Just as Zane had announced that Lloyd and Jay were already tearing the sleeve off their suits to use as makeshift bandages for Cole's wound.

Lloyd held up Cole so Zane could draw the arrow out while Jay held Cole's hand for support.

Cole screamed as Zane tore out the arrow as quickly and cleanly as he could then tied the makeshift bandages together and over Cole's wound and Jay screamed from how tightly Cole was crushing his hand as Zane treated Cole.

Unfortunately, for the Ninjas Cole and Jay's screaming attracted the unwanted attention of those outside their hiding place.
