Where Is The Caroüsel.

"Are you sure they'll be okay with it?" Justin nervously asked me, gripping his microphone.

"I imagine they'll be quite pleased." I placed a hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down. Not well, though.

"Hey, fellas!" Martin Garrix, the DJ that night taking care of the mashup, skipped down the stairs behind the curtain. Wait, that name rings a bell. Oh yeah, Justin and I danced to one of his songs at that underground club! "I did a few test runs, and Where Are Ü Now and Carousel both sound amazing!"

"That's good to hear, right, Justin?" I grinned up at him, but his sullen face stayed. I sighed.

"Mel, you're on!" My agent pushed me onto the stage, which flew the skirt of my newly-bought lavender dress.

"Good evening, Rome!" I sputtered into the mic, which effected more applause in the auditorium. "Before I start off the usual concert, I have a special treat for you guys... a guest is here with me today to perform a duet."

The room was filled with roars and screams, and the anticipation was so thick you could feel it in the air.

"Here we go..."

I started to sing Carousel as I usually do, but i stopped my dancing and held my breath at the second "And it's all fun and games..."

"That I need you," Justin gestured to me with his long arm as he sauntered out, heaving out those 4 words. All my fans shrieked and jumped, pumping the clear beach balls even more to the ceiling.

"See? They loved it!" I tugged on his arm as we entered our hotel room. He nodded excitedly and smiled. "They really did, didn't they?"

I laughed myself silly. I didn't know what it was, I was just in such a playful mood. I'm only like this when i'm drunk.

I lost control of my feet and felt myself stumble into him by the wall of the room. He grabbed my wrists and twisted me up towards him. I felt him heave in air quickly, his breath sharp and cold. I kissed him, and he didn't stop me. In fact, he let go of the support of the wall and we collided onto one of the twin beds.

"I used to be the one begging," he whispered to me. "Now i'm the one playing hard to get."

I arched my back and sat on his knees. I ripped off my sweater and slipped off my lavender babydoll, and he flipped me on my side and glided his hands across my chest and backside. He bit at my neck and said, "No chocolate, I just want to."

Monday, two months later

"My parents love you, are you kidding me?" Justin led me out to the back of his childhood home, where he had a beautiful garden, even if it had no flowers.

"Justin," I gazed up at him. "That night, two months ago, in Rome..."

He set the tea down, and put a hand on my shoulder. "I was okay, right?"

"Well, I think okay can get a girl pregnant, so, yeah."

His eyes became saucers as he gazed down at my stomach with a grin. "T-there's a little person in there?!"

I nodded, rubbing the side that was most apparent. He was shocked.

"I promise to love you," Justin held me in his arms. "You, and our child.... the children."

I parted from his grasp and smiled. "I love you t--"

Justin's eyes glazed over with a dull gray as he went limp. I gripped to his hand. "Justin? You okay?"

He fell to the ground to reveal blood streaming out of his back. I dropped to the ground and cupped my hands over my mouth, the teacup breaking, which made Justin's parents flood outside.

I gazed up quickly, but the shooter was gone. His parents dropped down as well and sobbed, cradling each other. They grabbed onto me and we huddled there, staring at his pale, lifeless body.

Eyes like hazel, twinkle in the starlight, even when they're crying...

Even when he's dying, our love will still be trying...

Never thought that something so tragic could ever happen to our peaceful, little, perfect, family...

Shots were fired on Monday morning...

You make moments last forever...

Not all my books are fun and games. That's the end of another book, guys. Happy Summer.
