Week of Punishment
•Prince's POV•
"Holy shit. Now I know why my mind felt at war."
Anxiety and I stopped fighting, though he was still forcefully pinning me down. All eyes were on us.
"Prince, Anxiety, what is going on here?" Morality folded his arms. The tone in his voice showed he was upset with us.
"Well Princey over here thought it would be a good idea to pick a fight with me," Anxiety glared down at me. My rage ebbed inside of me.
"That's bullshit and you know it! And get off of me," I send my foot flying into Anxiety's chest. I probably hurt him pretty bad, but least he was off of me now.
"Prince, do not hurt him like that!" Morality rushed to Anxiety's aid. "And watch your language or you'll be grounded!"
I sit up from the floor. "Oh that's ironic, you see the finger prints on my neck and this black eye he gave me?"
"Is that true, Anxiety?" Morality's anger shifted from me to him. Anxiety remained silent as he glared at me.
"Okay, guys," Thomas steps in. "What is going on here? And please, don't try and kill each other while explaining."
Neither I nor Anxiety spoke. I couldn't say anything, I was the one who pushed him first. Then they'd want to know why I pushed him, then why I was mad at him, then why thought he never really liked me... They don't need to know everything.
"Will one of you two just say something?" Logic finally spoke. "It would be easier on all of us."
"Fine, I will," Anxiety rose to his feet, sending a smirk my way. "Princey came into my room and pushed me, so I had to defend myself. Simple as that."
"Sure, and I have a million bucks in my pocket," I scoff.
"I'm sure you do, princes are very rich you know."
"Shut up, Mr. Depression."
"Mr. Perfect."
"Stop it you two," Morality interrupted our insult fight. "Now, is that what happened, Roman?"
"Okay, maybe. But he chocked me! And he slammed me against the wall!"
"The both of you have gotten completely out of hand!" Morality placed his hands on his hips as he scolded us. "Why would you do this to each other? Especially when you seemed to be getting along so well!"
"Well, you can forget about that," I mumble, glaring at Anxiety. He gives me a sarcastic smile, tilting his head to the side.
"I'm out of here, by the way," Anxiety began to leave the room. Morality grabbed him firmly by the arm.
"Oh no you're not, young man. We are going to stay here and discuss your punishments. Fighting with each other is a very serious matter!" he practically threw Anxiety back to the stairs. It took Anxiety a moment to regain his balance. "Now both of you will be spending the rest of your week in your room, and you can forget about any electronics!"
"Are you sure that's fair, Morality?" Logic questioned, adjusting his glasses. "I mean you're not exactly their-"
"Shut your mouth!"
For once in my life, I witnessed Logic actually be quiet when someone told him to. Most of the time, he would keep talking and talking about useless stuff that no one cared about. Then again, it was rare Morality had to use his 'Angry Dad Mode' on him. Logic was always the one who never got in trouble.
"Look, I see that you're trying to be a helpful father figure and all, but I simply don't care," Anxiety crossed his arms.
"You don't want to sass me, Anxiety. We can make it two weeks."
"Why don't we make it three, just for fun?" He chuckled as he moved closer to Morality.
"Fine, a month."
"Two months."
"Three."
Morality was practically fuming in Anxiety's face. Thomas, Logic, and I exchanged glances that all seemed to say, "what is going to happen next?"
Of course, what happened next was totally unexpected.
