Acting Skills
•Prince's POV•
"Wonderful!" I exclaim as I pick up my package. "It's finally arrived!"
"Ooo! What is it?" Morality squeals. I bring in the package and place it on the coffee table.
"It's my limited edition Moana t-shirt, signed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, The Rock, and Auli'i Cravalho themselves!" I start to tear into the box.
"Wow, somebody call the Disney Fanboy Club," Anxiety walks into the living room.
"Actually, I did! They were pretty excited to see that I got my hands on this shirt!"
"Wait, that's an actual thing?" he scoffed. "I'd hate to be to president of that club."
"Didn't you say Lin-Manuel Miranda? Isn't that the guy who wrote Hamilton?" Morality asked.
"Yeah! How do you even know about that? Hamilton seems a little bit too... PG-13 for you."
"There's a million things I don't know, but just you wait!"
I finally get to my t-shirt underneath all the wrap and plastic it was packaged in. I hold it up to examine it. "Looks alright to me, never been worn, this was a good buy!"
"More like an idiotic buy. You payed like what- a couple hundred dollars- for some fabric with some scribbles on it? Not a smart move, Princey. All those diamonds on your crown aren't going to pay for everything."
"W-what?" I was taken aback by Anxiety's rudeness. I know he can be a bit harsh, but I just thought that since all that happened...
"Aw, is that little crown on your head making your ego hurt? Maybe we should get it resized to fit your big head."
"Lay off him, Anxiety," Morality scolds in his 'angry dad' voice. Anxiety was immediately quiet. All I could do was stare back at him.
"Have fun with your t-shirt, in out of here," Anxiety mumbled as he left the room.
"I wonder what's up with him," Morality looked over to see the look on my face. "I mean, he's probably just in a bad mood. He's just saying stuff to say stuff, don't let it get to you."
"I know, but..."
"But what? Did something happen between you two that I don't know about?"
"No, nothing happened." I felt bad about lying to Morality, but no one needs to know anything until I figure out what was going on.
"Aw, you two seemed to be getting along pretty well earlier! Especially that karaoke night."
"It was just an act, Morality. Nothing else."
Was it just an act? Maybe Anxiety never liked me this entire time, maybe he just leading me on. I could be over analyzing, but...
"Well you sure had me fooled! You two should try acing more, you guys were pretty good!"
"Especially Anxiety," I grit my teeth.
