So my high schools "Barrel game" was tonight

It's basically a football game against another high school

I left at the third quarter and let me just say it was 47 (I think...) to 6 my high school in the lead so I mean
Did we really have to stay to find out who won?
Nope so we left after the half time performance

It was hilarious though

The band started marching and they marched in a circle with the drummers in the middle
Here's the best part
About halfway through doing this the people making up the circle stopped playing their instruments and just lost it
They danced like crazy with the drummers still playing in the middle

I leaned over to my mom and told her it looked like they were preforming a ritual and we both just broke out into laughter 😂

And then on the other side of the field where the other high school say they had this HUGE sign here's a picture

I don't think you can read it but it says
"Send those Devils back to"
And then flames and a trident beneath it so I'm guessing you can tell what it meant

And then our cheerleaders were like

"WHAT DO WE EAT!"
"COUGAR MEAT"
because their mascot is a cougar

They take school pride freaking seriously

I only really went to see my friend who goes to the other high school and is in there marching band

But if you are rooting for my high school they won't even let you over to their side

I just wanted to see her and make sure we are still friends...
