-Broken!Gradient
Gradient is the eldest son of Error and Ink. He is both a Creator and Destroyer at the same time, and is a trusted henchman of Error404, and the new servant of the Creators, who needed him after Ink had been corrupted
Appearance
Gradient still looks the same as before, but he is now taller and his outfit has some rips and tears, with holes in his pants, revealing his knees. He no longer wears glasses, due to now having his eyesight fixed and improved. He has 2 red eyes in his yellow eye sockets, the left one has an X Shape in the eye itself. The sleeves have also been slightly torn a little bit, with the left one having been torn completely off, and replaced and stitched with a white sleeve, that is leaned with eyes that resembles his own eyes, 3 that resembles his right eye and 3 that resembles his left eye. The lower part of the jacket had been ripped, and has now been replaced with lower pieces of a white coat, which are long enough to reach down in between his ankles and knees. His scarves, which is wrapped around this waist, is now a bit more dirtier, and yet, somehow more longer than before. He constantly has a stern expression on his face. He wears a grey fingerless glove on his left hand, as it covers the eyes on the back of his hands. The left palm of his hand has an eye that looks like Gradient's left eye.
Personality:
Because of the traumatic experience that he had been through, combined with the training that he had with Error404 Sans, and with his 2 personalities fusing together, has become cold and distant, showing signs of annoyance whenever he feels like time has been wasted for him to take advantage of. He now no longer enjoys making art, as he now uses his creative skills to act as brutal and ruthless as he possibly can. He now keeps his own thoughts to himself, no longer being blunt and honest, now not wanting to speak whatever it is that is in his mind. Having trained harshly, yet patiently, he remains calm, even if he does get a little bit angry. And thanks to Error404, he is skilled in manipulation, and he can lie just like Ink by faking his actual self, only to show his real self later.
Despite this stern, no-nonsense behavior he has, as well as his cold and ruthless demeanor, old parts of his original self does still exist, and is saddened he had to become like this, but pushes these feelings down and his original behavior, so that it can be easy to get whatever job he has done. Even after a couple of years of being separated, Gradient still carries a fond affection towards his brother, Paperjam, his sister-in-law, Omni, his Nephew, Monochrome, as well as the rest of his half-siblings, and is saddened that he never could be with them in the Omega Timeline, feeling like he had abandoned them when he had to sacrifice his chance to be together with them, and now currently tries to find a way in, having to try and use different locations to try and find a place that can be acceptable to use his portal on. And on the inside, Gradient feels deep regret with what he had done, being forced to kill and destroy AUs and people in order to get his task down as soon as possible, but he knows that he cannot show it on his face.
Gradient now has a much more improved memory, and he can recall events far more easily, and even if he does forget, it'll be temporarily gone and would resurface again.
Biography:
Gradient, the eldest son of Error and Ink, had been forced to flee from his father, along with the rest of his siblings, after his father tried to consume them. Stranded in Outertale, they had an encounter with Infected, who had been trying to cannibalize on Lux, and were saved by Dream Sans and Starcross, Lux's younger brother. They were able to meet with CORE Frisk, as they had explained that because of the danger with Ink and Infected, the Omega Timeline would be at risk of being destroyed, and thus, they got as many survivors as they could, and try to escape into the Omega Timeline, which Ink had attempted to enter to and tried to consume Gradient and the others again, and was only stalled by the efforts of various people who tried to slow him down. But when Gradient and the others were the last to reach the portal, Hollow Ink had fought Seraphim Sans to defeating him, who had tried to hold him back, but to no avail. Ink Sans was too close to the portal, and Gradient, realizing that he had no choice, pushes his family to the other side, said goodbye to them one last time, and closed the portal.
Gradient than tried to escape from what was once his father as much as he could, having been evading him for overly an entire month, before having gone to the Anti-Void, and meting with his father, Error, and then the both of them fought against Ink, but were easily overpowered, and Error404, the mender of Error Sans, stepped in to same them, and trained Gradient after he had emerged Gradient's 2 personalities together. But since escaping the horrifying being that had once been Ink, Gradient would at times have nightmare about Ink, and sometimes we like even hallucinate Ink, as he wound sometimes see him whenever he goes.
Powers:
Creativity-training from Ink Sans when he had gotten his new soul from the Unnameable has allowed Gradient to be as creative as possible and even allow him to fight with his mind, turning his digital paint or even something of the environment into whatever he needs or wants, though admittedly, it's not in the same efficiency as Ink's and is only extremely close to his level of skill.
Trained Blue Magic: Gradient has received training with Error404 Sans on his ability to use his blue magic, with the length of how far he can move them at a total of 200 Meters, which became 245 after having his soul he filled with a piece of an Unnameable's.
Gradient Blasters: These Blasters now fire a yellow beam of magic, able to reach the length of 5 Meters, and is able to obliterate anything in its path.
Unfaltering Strength: Due to having gained a piece of an Unnameable's soul after losing 50 percent of his original soul, Gradient has now gained enhanced strength, and while it is weaker compared to Ink and Error404's strength, it is enough to give them immense trouble trying to pin him down.
Immense Speed: Due to the piece of the Unnameable's soul, Gradient is now extremely fast, so much that it resembles teleporting to an extent, and can even give Ink trouble catching him. However, he's slower than Error404.
Flight: Like Ink, due to having a piece of the Unnameable's Soul, he can fly.
Devour: Gradient can now devour AUs in order to make himself more powerful than before.
Pixel Manipulation: Gradient originally used these pixels in order for destroy other universes or to make whatever objects that he needs. Thanks to Error404 training him, he can now use it for some other stuff, such as using it on his wounds as a substitute for healing himself.
Defect Whip: Taught by Error404 in the MainFramr in order to try to use a Glitch Whip of his own making, using either his stylus as a handle of through his own hand, he can swing either stylus or hand to use a power similar to the Defect Ray, except that, like the Glitch Whip, it is a whip-like beam of light.
Blue Strings: Having been taught by his father, Error, he can control people by wrapping the strings around the souls, and later from Error404 in siphoning magic and energy from them.
Red Strings: Due to his father originally being Geno, Gradient has inherited DT inside of him, and now can use Red Strings to cause immense pain to the people he is attacking, with the pain as being similar to hot lead being wrapped around the skin. But unlike Error's red strings, Gradient's strings can physically torture people, not mentally torture them.
Yellow Strings: Gradient is able to use yellow strings to inject and infect an entity with a pathogen version of his own code, which will than spread all over the host, at which point, their entire personality is overridden, and they become an extension of Gradient's will temporarily, until after 2 hours. It can only work on entities weaker than him. It does not effect stronger entities, or other Errors.
Fear Strings: Strings that he had gotten from taking a piece of the Pink Soul of Fear from Glitchtale, he has made them into strings where he can make people see what they truly fear the most, allowing Gradient to incapacitate them for him to make his attack on them, or simply as a way to slip by said person undetected.
Grey Strings: Can be used to trap people with a soul, but has no effect on the soulless, who can easily pass right through it. When people with souls are trapped, they Gray Strings will sedate the soul and make the person go to sleep
Gremlin Ray: Can fire a powerful bright yellow ray from one of his index fingers, which can be used to erase people from existence to those that dare to get within its way, regardless of it is organic or inorganic, or destabilize powers to the point that it works against the one that is using them. It's firing power is as strong as the Glitch Ray.
Eyes of the Observer: The eyes on the left arm, all the way from the shoulder to the hand, with a single eye on the palm of the left hand. It is currently unknown as to what it does, nor...how Gradient thinks of the eyes that have appeared on the left hand...as he has never commented on those things before.
Transformation:
M.O.T.H: A weaker yet controlled version of the B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y form that Gradient managed to accidentally obtain by absorbing safe powerful portions of the Multiverse' code and infusing them into the piece of the Unnameable's soul, with Error404 manipulating the code and infusing them into Gradient's soul, this form will allow Gradient become strong enough to give Ink and Error404 Sans a very hard time in beating him. The form is weaker than Error666, but is able to cause serious damage to any out of weaker than him, and even gave Error404 a hard time trying to beat him. The only downside to this is that it can strain his body if he continues to be in this transformation, though by consuming more universes or powerful individuals to make himself stronger, he can lessen the weakness, and even store more of the Multiverse's Cods inside of himself in order to make the transformation more stronger than it has been before.
OnlyGradient/Maalik: Similar to Error404's transformation, Just404, Gradient has a manifestation of a TransVoid entity, this one being of Gabriel, who put a piece of his own soul into Gradient's body, which was living next to Gradient's own soul. The manifestation gained a form, and soon a consciousness. ONLYGRADIENT is capable of manipulating flames that is hotter than all overs in the 10 realities, though his flames are weaker compared to Gabriel, and has more extreme and dangerous versions of his own attacks. But despite this, Maalik is surprisingly peaceful, due to Gradient trying to prevent him from seeing what is going on outside.
Appearance: Maalik's clothing is charred black, as of the coat has been burnt, with the green color of the coat, and the turtle knew I sweater changing to a burning yellow, as Malik lacks eye lights, and is instead only empty yellow eye sockets, with the mouth also being a fiery yellow. His teeth are also resembling a Gradient's teeth normally, except that the teeth are able to be separated. He has horns having grown from the sides of his head, with a tail coming out from behind him, which he can use to act similar to an extra limb.
Relationships:
Error: His relationship with his father had gotten better than it was before. Previously, it was awful, as Error would try to destroy him. Currently, while Error does not care for him much, he now developed a slight protective father instinct whenever Gradient is in a very serious trouble, especially with Ink.
Ink: Gradient missed the person who he once was, as Ink had been the father to raise him when Error hated Gradient, but knows he cannot think of his old feelings for his now corrupted father, which will make him vulnerable, but still tries to think of a way to bring his old self back so that he can be with him again, and hopefully have his family be together for once, instead of separated, just like before and now.
Error404: Has a very strange bond, as while Error404 knows of his lineage of being both a creator and a destroyer, he acts like a strict, but caring grandfather towards Gradient, and while he is not above manipulating him for his own ends, he gains a form of familial care to Gradient, even if he does not show it.
King Multiverse: Considered bonding himself to King Multiverse, even though he knows what he is like, so that he can hang out with Error a little but more, but seeing that Ink Sans has bonded to him made him reconsider his decisions in wanting to bind his soul, and now tries to actively avoid King Multiverse as much as possible. King Multiverse's, however, feels like Gradients needs to bond to him to that he can keep Gradient on a leash, and makes sure he does his job.
Infected: Has a deep grudge against him for attacking Lux. Hopes that he can kill him for what he had tried to do to her.
Lux: Has a very odd relationship with her. While they're like brother and sister, since one of Gradient's half-brothers is a child of Dream, and her being the oldest half-sister of Palette Roller, they both had begun to have a crush on one another. Lux was heartbroken when Gradient didn't make it through the other side, and yet continues to hope that he is out there somewhere, still alive from what Ink tried to do to him.
His siblings: Gradient loves his family very deeply, especially his siblings, which includes Omni and Monochrome, his Sister-In-Law and his Nephew. He misses them very deeply and always has a picture of his time together with them, so he can remind himself as to why he is still here, and the fact that he hopes that he can see them again and reunite with them. But for now, he can't.
Homeworld: Digital Sphere
The Digital Sphere is a dimension that Gradient had created, using his Stylus, with the entire dimension being based on the Doodle Sphere. This dimension is colored with a light emerald green color, with small floating glitched islands, with islands being recreated after being destroyed. The background is in a constant state of recreation and destruction, with the destroyed part of the background exposing a black or white color with a glitch portal-shaped hole, only to be recreated in a very different manner, or with the destroyed parts of the background making something inside of the Digital Sphere. There are digital art pictures of AUs shown on screens, though only the ones that Gradient was able to get when they were created, and not the ones that Ink had kept in his Doodle Sphere. But when he does get some of the pages inside of the Doodle Sphere, he can suspend them in the air, and use his powers to turn them into Digital Art versions of themselves, in order to keep the universe safe from Ink, who would want to consume it in order to make himself much more stronger than he was before. Due to this, Gradient answers to both Error404 and the Creators, in knowing what universes that he needs to rescue from the Doodle Sphere, in order to preserve them, or for Error404 to use them. Currently, Ink has no idea that this dimension exists, and only Error404 and Gradient's other father, Error, know about it's existence.
