Conduit!Bete Noire is the next Conduit to come after Conduit!Cell, now having been given the title as the Forbidden Conduit of Fear. This Bete Noire originated in Glitchtale, but now has been given the position as a Conduit by the Cycle's immense power.

Backstory:

This version of Bete Noire follows the same backstory as the original. Bête Noire was created in the aftermath of a conflict between Agate, Copper, and Amber Lightvale. Before she existed, her soul resided in Agate Lightvale.

When Agate and Copper began to argue over the barrier, their tempers flared, and they fought, while Amber watched. At the end of the battle, Agate lost, humiliated; thus, she lost her trait and fled.

While Agate was gone, she sought a trait that could defeat Determination.

When Agate returned to the kingdom, Copper and Amber gave her a warm welcome due to her long disappearance. However, what they didn't know that she had inverted her soul, so after some time, she fought her brother against his own will. Amber tried to escape during the fight, but her sister blocked her from escaping by using one of her magical blasts and murdered her. This caused Copper to lose his trait and sit there, frozen in fear while his sister was killed in front of him. She then stabbed her brother, killing him. Agate then realized that her soul was damaged, and she was slowly dying after she inverted her trait. This damage was because her soul couldn't adapt to the sudden change of it being inverted. Knowing that her time was running short, she used her soul and Amber's body for a spell that would create a powerful creature that would never let humans and monsters live in peace, the Bête Noire.

When Frisk opened the Barrier and tried to make coexistence between Monsters and Humans possible, Betty was soon awakened and intervened. Although she did not do it yet, due to the fact that she needs to grow in strength. So, she separated herself from Kumu, and took on a more innocent appearance, and she used her power to make it look like she is about to crash into a vehicle, only to be 'saved' by Frisk, who was under the affect of Betty's spell.

And it is there that she decided to initiate her plan. She went to Jessica in order to manipulate her into getting her revenge, when in reality, she wants to make sure that humans and monsters do not coexist, even if it means killing both sides, despite the fact that she was created by a human. Her first victim was Sans, and when she took his soul and gave it to Kumu, it is when she decided to torture Jessica into giving her the vial of Hate. But this act only confined Jessica to side with the monsters, who she had once discriminated so much.

When Betty rose, a war between her and the 2 species she is trying to separate came to be. Seeing how dangerous Betty is, they moved in to try and attack and kill her, in order to make sure that their loved ones are safe. But to do this, both Humans and Monsters had to join forces, all in an effort to stop it, something that Betty was not prepared for. Instead of making the Humans and Monsters separated, she instead United them.

During the war, she mad pink creatures that act similar to Kumu, as they went around and consumed the souls of monsters and humans alike, and that is all in an effort to try and give Betty as much power as she can. And during all of this, during the fight between the humans and monsters, as well as Frisk, she was able to capture and kill Asriel and take his soul, which made Frisk mad enough to the point that his LV rose up, and he began to overpower Betty. But Betty than used her power over Hate to resurrect Sans under her control, although this did not last, as Papyrus, the younger brother of Sans, was able to break him through the Hate that Betty placed on her, and this forced Betty to retreat. Having little options left, but still growing more powerful with the souls that she is consuming, she than use her power to summon Asriel under her control, and she than used her power to fuse with Kumu once more, and went into her true form.

When she did, her powers became immense, so much that even the royal family of Toriel and Asgore could not handle her, Muffet and Grillby are defeated by her, and even Mettaton got defeated by her. When Betty tricked Toriel into attacking Asgore, Betty tried to kill her, but was stooped by Gaster, who than came out to fight her. Bete shields herself from any more of Gaster's attacks, one of them causes holes to appear in the Arena's wall and she escapes through one of them.

Outside, she questions why Gaster is in the Arena in the first place. Sans suddenly shows up behind her and shoots a Gaster Blaster at her. Annoyed, Bete mocks Sans and Papyrus, saying that they are merely a 'jester and his lackey'. She tells them that she isn't scared of them but gets punched by one of Gaster's hands and is sent flying, only to hit a wall. Bete says that they have trapped her in a chain, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. She targets Papyrus and tries to hurt him but Papyrus attacks her before she does, a bone slams her into a building. One of Gaster's hands punches her again and she flies through an office building then Sans uses a Gaster Blaster to blast her into the ground. Bete lands on a wall and pushes herself to jump at Gaster, she is stopped midair using telekinesis and is slammed into a wall.

Betty tried to escape, but Papyrus was able to stop her, only for Betty to attack Papyrus and knock him out, but Sans and Gaster took the chance, and attacked Betty, making her more susceptible to the Hate and forcing them away. She then tried to kill Papurus, but Sans blasted her, and than tried to use a lot of Gaster Blasters to kill her, only for Betty to take the chance and steal them, and was able to knock Gaster out briefly when he protected Sans, only for Sans to be forced to waste his Determination and die for the final time.

This act made Gaster snap, and he than used his full power to kill her, and he killed her in the most painful and agonizing way that he can think of. He ripped her legs off, pierced her body with purple hands, blasted her under her, and used all 9 hands and a Gaster Blaster to finally kill the Construct.

However, as her body had been taken over by the Hate that is within her, one of the Cycle, who sensed her, took an interest in her, and used its powers to not only resurrect Bete Noire, but to turn her into a being of pure-godlike power. She became known, as the Forbidden Conduit of Fear.

Appearance:

Conduit!Betty shares most of her original appearance when she is fused with Kumu. She has brown hair with tips of pink on the edges that's about medium-length. The closer she is to be able to use her Rhabdophobia magic, the pinker her hair will be, starting from the bottom. Once Rhabdophobia is available for her, her hair becomes completely pink with no trace of brown. She wears a magenta skirt which had its edges torn, a light purple turtleneck with a large light pink stripe at its bottom, light purple leggings and brown boots that are pretty close to reaching her knees. her sclera is a dark shade of magenta, her pupil becomes a much darker shade of pink, and has a mouth similar to Kumu, with sharp teeth and strings of flesh attached to her wide mouth. She also has pink arms that she can use in order to make weapons with her limbs. However, Betty's face is also having the same, cute innocent appearance that she once had before fusing with Kumu, as her face is a fusion between her fused self and her disguised self. Her physical build even resembles that of Anomaly!Core's, and it looks just as beautiful as her. 

An extra piece of clothing that she has is that she wears a purple jacket that reaches down to her knees, and possessing a very graceful and beautiful look, despite the fact that it is all just as torn up as her skirt

Personality:

Bete is an entity that is known to cause a lot of pleasure for herself when she causes pain to others that she wants to agonize. indicating that she has a very sadistic, ruthless, psychotic, and violent. She appears to enjoy hurting her opponents before she kills them, in fact, Bête is known for attempting to kill anyone in her way. It's also clear that she has no problem lying to, or betraying others, as she manipulated Jessica, into doing what she wanted them to do. Another example of this is when she casted a hallucination on Undyne, causing her to kill Alphys instead of Bête, or when she tortured Jessica by showing her a hallucination of a Alina, to get the hate vial.

When it comes to battles, she often becomes arrogant, which results in her underestimating her enemies. This, along with the fact she's not a very good strategist, probably due to her lack of a brain, and relies on brute force means a bit of planning can easily outsmart her, as shown in her fight with Gaster. Although, it is observed that she is able calculate, and knows how to get what she wants, but nevertheless seems to not be able to plan to an extent.

However, after she became the Forbidden Conduit of Fear, she began to change a bit more. Because of the fact that she is now a being of godlike power, she began to act different. She began to learn and to think for herself, and although sadistic and arrogant, due to her defeat and death by Gaster, Betty began to learn to not underestimate the power of anyone that is actually stronger than her. And due to this, she will began to think much more tactically, and she began to become much more intelligent, no longer relying on brute force this time, and instead, relies on tactics and strategies in order to give herself a win. Because of this, she had became much more dangerous than ever before, so much that even some Conduits that are stronger than her are very weary of her, as she is now analytical and thoughtful of how she approaches things, and how she fights in combat. And ever since her death, she became unhinged, and yet, she remained in control of herself, and made her tone similar to how she is when she manipulates someone, that being in she is naturally cheerful and wielded a somewhat happy-go-lucky attitude, and never seemed to worry about the future, as she was never seen feeling hopeless, and sounds like she treats her peers with great friendliness, and she even adapts a soft spoken one that makes her sound shy, which makes her all the more creepier.

Conduit!Bête Noire has also began to learn of the emotions that both monsters and humans feel, and while she can finally feel them, due to being a Conduit, it is much more twisted and distorted version of them. Despite this, she had full understanding on how they work, especially in the natural ways that mortal emotions work, and will use said feelings of others in order to manipulate anyone that she targets into her cause.

Most importantly, while she is still fearful of death, having gained much more intelligence and new ways of manipulations, she will calmly try to avert her own death, no matter what.

Powers:

Spear of Fear: Based off of Agate Lightvale's Spear of Bravery. Bete can use magic energy from her soul to create a pink spear to pierce her enemies, when harvesting souls, the spear has a pink string attached to retrieve the spear; shown with Sans and Alphys. However, it can simply be used for attacking, as demonstrated with Gaster and Mettaton. It can also be used to fuse with Akumu to access her true form. It also has a purpose in that it is able to release a magical explosion, assumingly increasing the attack power of the spear in order to damage anything or destroy something. She is even able to pierce and reel in AU or perhaps more to the position that she is on.

Scythe of Fear: Bete is able to create and summon a scythe made of Fear Magic. Due to HATE's original effects on her scythe, she is able to keep the ability to create enhanced explosions. But as a Conduit and is stuck in her fused form, she can morph her hand into a scythe hand to create a magical explosion beam by stabbing it in the ground, or she can merge both of her hands to make a large scythe, as well as cover the blade with a much more larger one. It also has the ability to amplify the weapon's attack damage releasing black, smoke-like energy at the tip of the scythe. Bête Noire can also use an extremely powerful slash with their scythe. She can use this power to such an extent that she can detonate an AU that she's on, as well as 39 other nearby AUs that are surrounding the AU that she has exploded. It also has gained a new effect, for it can now cut and tear apart the minds of any man, monster or abomination, as well as other Conduits. The Blade is nigh-indestructible and can slice, kill and destroy just about anything that the blade is able to find in its path. But even if it does get destroyed, she will be able to make another one.

Multiversal Speed: Bête Noire's speed has increased to an insane degree. Now, not only does she look like she is teleporting, but she is now able to go to the center of an AU in just a matter of seconds, and can even travel to the very ends of the Multiverse in as long as 10 minutes. She is even fast enough to keep up with Conduit!Cell.

Mind Reading: Bete is capable of viewing the memories of others through eye contact. It does not matter if the memories are either forgotten or suppressed or hidden behind someone's facade or even alternate personality, she will be able to see what it in the memories of the person she is making eye contact with, as well as force said person to be forced to look at their own memories, unable to do anything.

Fire Manipulation: Bete can manipulate fire, thanks to Bravery's affinity for it. It is unknown if she can generate it on her own. But ever since becoming a Conduit, she is able to do it on her own. Her flame rivals that of Sandhya, who's flames surpass Avalon and Gabriel, and their's are able to melt even stars. This means that Bête Noire's flames are so powerful, she can melt stars with less effort than Gabriel and Avalon, as well as match Sandhya's flame.

Life Creation: Bete can create Fear Blobs which act as her minions, not to mention acting similar to Kumu in one function. They go around collecting souls for her so that she can drain their life, and she often uses these to collect the souls of powerful monsters in different AUs.

Soul Draining: Bete can grab souls and drain the magic out of them to enhance hers, as well as being able to enhance her physical body, and unlike her original self, the stat increase is a permanent one. It is unknown if she can collect the souls of Conduits to strengthen herself. 

Enhanced Regeneration: Bete, due to her exposure to hate, kept her ability to regenerate her body, such as being able to regenerate her limbs and even revers the half of her head, while also being able to restore her eyes, and since she no longer has hate with her, she can regenerate without getting corrupted, and still remains herself every time.

Mind Control: Bete is able to keep her power over mind control, by using her powers to show them of something that they hate. While they cannot speak, due to them being inside of their heads and speaking there, outside, their bodies will be a still as statues, although their movements will act erratic and jerky and glitchy at times. But when they fight, they will not hold back on the power that they have.

Limb Modification: After fusing with Akumu, Bete can modify her arms into various shapes, such as extending spiked tentacles from her fingertips, claws, morphing her entire forearm and hand into a spear-like blade, morphing her hands into shields, morphing her hands into scythes, extending her fingers out of the ground to attack opponents, sizing her limbs and even extending her forearm to great lengths with tentacle-like flexibility.

Magic Blasts: Bete can summon dark magenta triangular projectiles, or pink slashes to launch at her opponents. They also explode on impact, as Fear's uncorrupted form, Bravery, is known for its explosive magic. She can also create a dark magenta shockwave by morphing her hand into a scythe and stabbing it in the ground, which could tie to the said explosive magic. Bete even used this power to damage certain conduits, and even the strongest conduit is not able to be unharmed from this type of blast.

Forbidden Conduit of Fear:

Bête Noire, due to the power of the Cycle, has turned into the Forbidden Conduit of Fear, and thus, she is one of the most dangerous conduits ever in existence. Due to the fact that she had become a Conduit, all of her previous abilities have been enhanced to ungodly levels, being able to affect the Multiverses and the cycles, due to her immense power. She is even such a dangerous threat to some of the top most powerful beings, such as other Conduits like Conduit!Cell, Conduit!X, and Anomaly!Core, and is also even threats to Sol, Ido, Ser, and Mes of all entities, even though the last 3 are all Polothorn God and are much more stronger than Sol.

Soul Attack: She uses her Fear and Magic to stretch the opponent's soul out to an unbearable scale, causing the soul to almost fracture or even break, causing the opponent to submit or die.

Pure Agony + Fear = Dread: This ability allows Bete Noire to shoot beams of pure terror at the opponent she is facing, causing them to die of pure fear if their will is weak enough and body as well.

Intense Fear: Betty, due to her Conduit Soul, is able to make a presence so immense that it can affect the entire Multiverse, causing the denizens of AUs to feel intense and nearly-killing Fear on themselves. And even someone as power as Conduit!Cell is not safe from an ability as powerful as the this.

Fear Mastery: Bête Noire is able to use her power in order to turn any type of Soul, mostly a bravery soul, into a Fear Soul, and manipulated how a person will act in the way that she converts and programs the soul into being able to change the personality of that person.

Hallucination Casting: Bete is capable of inducing a hallucination upon others. This is shown to be limited to one person at a time. The target who has been placed under said illusion is seemingly unable to discern reality, nor break free from the illusion on their own unless done by Betty herself. She can use this at a advantage for extra help on the battle field, similarly as if she was mind controlling someone. But ever since becoming a Conduit, her powers are over Hallucinations are now no longer given restrictions to one person at a time, and is now able to use it on multiple people simultaneously.

Fear Vision: Working alongside the Hallucinations, Bête Noire can see what a person or a group of people fear separately or together, and when doing this, she can manipulate their fears to make it even more worse than ever before, so she can scare them much more further.

Fear Absorption: Betty is able to increase her power in another way, by absorbing the fear of other entities, or of entire Multiverse, including Genocide Timelines and AUs that are still negative, which can give her the most fear to absorb. Although, similar to Dream and Nightmare, she can only use this as long as she continues to feel it, and if she doesn't feel it anymore, the power boost becomes temporary. However, she can avert this and gain a permanent power boost through draining Souls, and giving herself a slightly greater Power Boost at the same time, thus, she uses her Soul Draining when she is unable to feed on Fear whenever it disappears.

Fear Sensing: Bête Noire is able to sense a person's fear from very far away, even if they are from an AU that is extremely far from her location, such as light-years away.

Subconscious Manifestation: Bête Noire has a unique ability in that she is able to spill a person's own inner fears into reality, in order to attack them with their fears.

Rhabdophobia: Bete's special attack allows her to generate a large negative-color dome. Any magical construct within this dome, be it one of Gaster's magically created hands or Undyne's spears, it's color changes to pink, is commandeered, and put under her control; Rhabdophobia uses the original casters magic to supply the weapons. This prevents the affected target from dispelling the stolen weapons but does not affect their ability to create replacement weapons. There is no cooldown for this attack, but it takes large amounts of magic on Bete's part, but now does not need a cooldown as a Conduit. She even once used this power to take control of Conduit!Cell's CELL Multiverse Cannon, which is by far his strongest attack, which proves and showcases how dangerous that Bête Noire is.

Relationships:

Error404: The God of the Multiverse himself, Error404 once tried to force Betty into his group of Henchmen, but when he turned into Just404 and tried to destroy her with his Omninova, she was able to use Rhabdophobia in order to attack back. Nowadays, Error404 just leaves her be, and only attacks if she tries to foil his plans.

King Multiverse: Betty and King Multiverse had met and fought against each other before, with Betty being able to win, but was not able to kill him nor drain his soul, due to Error404 forcing her away. Despite this, she has not given up in trying to take his soul and use it to empower herself.

Infected: The First Destroyer, Infected had fought against Betty, and he is so terrifying that even Betty is unnerved by how sadistic he is compared to herself in so many ways, despite the fact that he is supposedly weaker than her.

Alpha!Betty: Her other self from Alphatale, as well as a created experiment by the Defiled Witch, she mocks this type of Betty, due to only getting very few powers compared to her, and is not able to grow stronger, not to mention the fact that she is in the process of going blind in the next 2 years.

Conduit!Cell: A version of Cell!Sans, who had been exposed by the power of the Cycle and became the Forbidden Conduit of Evolution, Cell and Bête Noire have a very bad and not very present relationship. On Cell's side, Bête Noire is seen by him as an enemy, and thus, has done all that he can to make sure that she does not harm the Multiverses, and makes sure that she is put down. But on Bête Noire's side, she feels a toxic sense of love for Cell, and has tried to force him into a relationship with her countless upon countless of times, even one bedding him at one point when she manipulated his vision to think that she is Sandhya, thus, Cell has a strong hatred towards her for that incident, but Bête Noire feels toxic obsessive love to him.

Anomaly!Core: A version of Core!Frisk who has turned into the Forbidden Conduit of Reality, both Core and Bête Noire despise each other, due to Bête Noire remembering Frisk, who became the reason her plans were foiled. But Core hates Bête Noire for her attraction to Conduit!Cell, as well as what she had done to him, and thus, Bête Noire is technically Core's love rival, albeit a very bitter, heated rival.

Prism: The Forbidden Conduit of Fear has met the Forbidden Conduit of Disorder before in the past, and the encounter was not a pleasant one, due to Bête Noire making the mistake of attacking him, only for Prism to have done something to her and somehow defeated her. Since then, she is doing all she can to hunt down Prism so she can kill him.

Sandhya: The Daughter of Gabriel and Zarla, she has an immense hatred towards Bete Noire, due to the fact that she had forced herself onto Conduit!Cell without any remorse. Because of this, she and Anomaly!Core worked together in order to make sure that she suffered for what she had done to him. Bête Noire, however, cares less of what she thinks, and does not apologize for what she had done, much to the ire of Sandhya and Core.

Mes: An alternate version of Abyss, who has turned into a Polothorn God, Mes thinks very little of Bête Noire, as even though she is immense powerful, not even she is powerful enough to take control over his powers, much to Bête Noire's ire. In fact, the only time that he does take her seriously, is when she takes over the strongest ability of Conduit!Cell, Conduit!X, and Anomaly!Core, but even then, he still thinks very little of her.

Notes:

Despite how powerful she may seem and look, she is not at the level of Conduit!Cell or Mes. But her intelligence and her powers, as well as her new lethal way of using them are more than enough to make her a threat to them.

Because she bedded Conduit!Cell, she gave birth to an entity known as the Forbidden Conduit of Torment, and this child is said to be even stronger than Bête Noire, but weaker compared to Conduit!Cell.

She is one of the most dangerous and villainous conduits to exist, mainly because as a Conduit, she began to become more and more intelligent and creative with her powers, as well as adapting to new ways of manipulation. While not as the level of power of Conduit!Cell and Anomaly!Core, her intelligence is more than enough to be able to give people of their level trouble.

It is unknown why she has a toxic love towards Conduit!Cell, despite the fact that he is a monster. But it is possible is because of the fact that she is simply made for the purpose of no coexistence between monsters and humans back as a mortal, and these do not reappear when she became a Conduit, thus, having some goals of her own, and the fact that Cell is a very special type of person in her eyes, due to his unique physiology when involving the CELL Cores and his unique powers, and thus, desires him.

Bête Noire, due to becoming a Conduit, has been able to gain an identity and a will of her own. Because of this, she now has her own ambitions, as well as her own type of goal.

The reason why Glitchtale Betty was used to become the Conduit rather than her Alphatale self is because of the fact that, while she is weaker than Alpha!Betty, who's insanely stronger than her, Conduit!Bete's powers are perfected compared to Alpha!Betty, and unlike Alpha!Betty, she will not suffer from blindness in a couple of years, which Alpha!Betty would have still gotten, even if she had became a Conduit by the cycle. Plus, she has way more abilities compare to Alpha!Betty, who only has a total of 3 abilities.
