Z: Zappai
A/N: This is the last official chapter of 'alphabetically poetic'!! I honestly couldn't have done this without the endless love and support that I receive! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for taking out time and not just reading but supporting my work as well! Thank you so so much!
PS: This last form is dedicated to the poetry form that brought me into this genre. If it weren't for haikus, I don't think I would've ever considered writing poetry. Since Zappai is somewhat similar to haikus, I think it's only befitting for my last form to be 'Zappai'!
That's all I want to say, enjoy!
The end...or not?
It is not the end,
I'll come back soon, but only
if you vote, comment!😉
▪WHAT IS A ZAPPAI POEM?▪
Zappai poems are like haiku, but not. Or maybe more appropriately, they're like senryu, but not (or maybe they are). This poetic form definition may sound kind of wishy-washy, but zappai are poems that have a 5-7-5 syllable pattern that does not contain the seasonal reference expected of haiku.
In other words, zappai are all those haiku people write that haiku poets recognize as not being haiku. Again, senryu could fit this definition as well, but senryu also can have a looseness with the syllables, much like haiku, so that 17 syllables are not mandatory.
Zappai should still be poetic, but they're 5-7-5 poems that don't include the seasonal reference.

Hey guys!
Here's poem no.26!
Let me know what you think and how I should improve.😊
Also, it doesn't cost anything to click on the '☆' so please do it if you think my work deserves it!
That's all for now;
Don't worry, it's honestly not the end! I still have to write a thank you chapter and maybe a few bonus chapters!!🙂😘
Adios amigos!❤❤
