Chapter 1
It had been three days since Sheronica's disappearance and none of the remaining three leaders were able to sit in one place for too long. They were always on the move, trying to figure out what happened. It was really obvious how her disappearance had affected the whole group, especially Izz.
Aieyn walked into the huge space of a room that served as their relaxing space, just next to the kitchen where Sheronica would normally do her job. Everyone turned their head to look at her. Miezza's mouth twitched into what it seemed like a forced smile while Lily simply nodded at her before turning back at Miezza's to continue their conversation in a very low voice. Jyra was nowhere to be found.
Aieyn's eyes roamed through the room, watching everyone silently before her eyes settled on a guy who was sitting on a chair with his eyes staring across of the room, to the kitchen, looking like he wanted to be anywhere but there.
"Zul." She called and the guy raised his dull eyes to meet hers.
"Oh hey, Aieyn. Sorry I didn't see you there." He said, straightening his posture. He was okay with the leaders, especially Sheronica, but not with Aieyn. Aieyn had this powerful aura with her that screamed fight, and he definitely didn't want to get to her bad side.
Especially at that particular time.
She walked to him and sat on the space beside him.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
Zulfikar tried to smile, but it seemed more like a grimace as he turned to her.
"Are you?"
Aieyn didn't answer, but watched as he sighed and rubbed his face with his palm.
"I don't know Aieyn. I really don't." He leaned from his seat and clasped his hands together on his knees, his head hung low.
Aieyn patted his back in what she hoped a comforting gesture. She wasn't used to any contact with anyone except with her fellow leaders. She even flinched every time Sheronica surprised her with a sudden hug.
"It wasn't your fault, you know.." she started but stopped when Zul turned to her. If she wasn't naturally thorough, she wouldn't able to see the hint of tears in his eyes.
"I should've gone with her. I should.. I don't know, did something." He stared at his hands. "I don't even know what to do now. She's gone and I.."
Lily and Miezza's seemed to had overheard their conversation, as they had both stopped talking to each other. Miezza seemed to be sniffing a little while Lily had her stone face on, but looking at her, Aieyn knew the girl were trying really hard not to break.
"We are going to find her, and we will punish the one who did this." She said to Zul who shrank back to his position before. Aieyn then looked at the other faces in the room and stared at every one of them with such intensity. "We will make sure of that."
"What if.." a small voice said, and Aieyn snapped her had to Miezza. "What if they.. killed her?"
Aieyn could feel the heat coursing through her veins, so hot that if she was not careful, she could burn the entire place down.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, they were shining, and Miezza almost choked in her sob.
"If they dare to touch a single hair on her body, I will destroy them."

"Try to look for signs." The guy with bright blue eyes said, looking around the place.
"What signs? We've been searching through this area for three days." Danish groaned.
Farra did not answer, however looking closely for any kind of signs that Izzudin meant.
"There must be something. We can't let go now." He said, looking at random trees and through nearby bushes.
"Dan is right. We are searching blindly for clues. We don't even know what we are looking for." Hisham voiced out, and got rewarded with Farra's glare. But before he could say anything to add in his point, Izz had his collar in his fists.
"You might think this is stupid, but Sheronica is not stupid to not leave us any kind of clues." Izz said through gritted teeth.
"We do not come to play nor do I want to waste your time. My friend disappeared and we are all to blame." He seethed. His anger were slowly taking over him that he tried so hard to contain for the past few days.
"Izz," someone called him, but he didn't seemed to care. His grip on Hisham's collar tightened.
"Izzudin!" the voice called again, this time harder and full of authority.
The three guys snapped out of the tension and looked up.
"What the hell are you doing up there?" Izz asked irritatingly.
Farra was standing on a sturdy branch of a tree nearby, crouching as she stared at them.
"You idiot bunch of guys." She muttered. "I think I found something."
She had to wait until all of her friends were on their own branches near the one she was currently sitting on.
Izz had fly to the top of the tree, looking around for any signs. Danish had had managed to settle himself on a branch, while Hisham just arrived next to Farra.
"What are you doing here?" She asked, "go find your own branch."
"I'm afraid you'll fall down. It's like twenty feet high." He said. "How did you got up here anyways."
She rolled her eyes. "I jumped. We can fly, did you not remember that?"
"Oh, yeah.." he trailed off, thinking how he had wasted his energy climbing the tall tree just now.
"Why didn't you remind us?" Danish asked, his eyebrows scrunched up together.
Farra grinned and swung her dangling feet. "It's fun to see you try hard to climb."
A soft thud was heard nearby and all three heads looked to Izz who was standing fearlessly on a branch not far from them.
"What did you find?" He asked, and Farra gestured at the forest floor, small clearing where Sheronica went missing.
Izzudin guessed it was where she disappeared, because the area was wet, like it had just rained, but it hadn't, not when he found that only that particular spot was wet.
Hisham were looking around confusedly before realising it. He looked to Farra whose face was unreadable and to Izz who seemed like he was about to go rampage any time soon. Danish also seemed shocked.
"What was it?" Danish asked, mirroring Hisham's own thought.
"So they have her." Izz said in a low threatening voice, that made Danish gulped.
"I'm going back. It's time for war." Izz continued, and jumped down just as Hisham said, "wait."
They watched as the guy reached the forest floor unscathed, and ran back to the direction of their fortress.
"Farra, explain." Hisham said, his voice serious. She glanced at him briefly before diverting her gaze back to the ground.
"Sheron left us something." Farra took a deep breath.
"You know her power aren't made to fight." Hisham and Danish both nodded slowly. Farra continued. "She have the power to heal. Lately the leaves are turning yellow and brown.."
Danish nodded again. "She kept complaining to Noorizan that the season are murdering her crops."
That got both Farra and Hisham chuckled.
"You know how she love her fruits." She said, and the seriousness returned. "She used her powers to heal some of the fallen leaves to create a symbol, a clue, that is." Farra shook her head. "Though it must have taken her a lot of power for it to be fresh until now. After all, fallen leaves will die."
"That is a symbol of water." She pointed to a smaller mark. The symbol was fading away, because it had been nearly 72 hours since her friend disappeared. Smaller leaves were already turning yellowish, and it was only in a matter of time before everything blended into the soil.
"That means Rusdi has something to do with this." She added, her tone slightly different.
Danish and Hisham looked at each other.
Who know that he will be part of it? No wonder the leaders had been so distrustful of him since the beginning, especially Aieyn. She was really against of him, that she can't even be in the same place as him. Farra had to be there to stop the fights that constantly happened between them.
"But what does that mean?" Danish pointed to a bigger symbol on the ground that was drawn near the water symbol.
"That.." she took a deep breath. "Is the symbol of Number clan."

Here is the first chapter. I know it completely differs from the original one, but that's the point, I make this so it would be different, for now.
I decided to fix my update day for this. For now I'll stick with Wednesday and Sunday, in any time of the day, most probably late in the evening or late night. Should I not be able to update in any of the days, I will update the day before or after in exchange, but no, I will not update twice a day.
So this is it. I hope you enjoy this, and I'll see you next time ;)
