"Liliana..." I stare at her confused. Her face is as shocked as mine.

"Wilder. What... what are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing." I tell her. My tone hard.

Staring back at me she looks down until Alpha Amel stands next to her. "I take it this is the girl you are looking for?" Asking as he wraps his arm around her waist pulling her closer to him.

"Is it that obvious? Didn't the shock on my face answer your question?" I retort clenching my fists on my side as I glare at his arm around her.

"Wilder." Liliana warns now looking at me. 

"It's alright baby girl. I do not blame him for being confused. I would react the same if the girl, my ex no less, that I was looking for was found in another man's house after being away for two years." 

There is no response from either of us. I continue to glare at them until Amel speaks again. "I believe the two of you need to speak alone." 

"No"

"Yes." she and I say in unison. Liliana glares at me.

"I already told Wilder what I needed to tell him."

"You did not tell me anything that explains why you left, where you have been and why you are back." Taking a step towards her I notice Amel taking a protective stance. 

"I really do not need to explain anything to you Wilder. Except that I left and now I am back to finish school... and that I am with Amel." 

Squinting my eyes I hold off from blowing up at her. Especially at Amel who still has his arm wrapped around her. I feel like ripping it off.

"Lili..." He tells her softly, caressing her cheek with the back of his hand causing me to growl lowly. "I think you need to."

Liliana looks into his eyes then at me taking a deep breath. "Fine."

Kissing the side of her head he turns his head to face me. "I will be in the living room if you need me." Being curt he then leaves the office while she and I stare at one another.

The door shuts close and the staring contest between us continues. "So, you are with him now." I say more of a statement.

"Yes."

Shaking my head in disbelief I ask. "For how long?"

"Over a year now."

"Hmm... a year. Interesting." I say as I begin to walk around her then stop behind her. Leaning down so I was above her ear I ask. "Why?"

"Why what?" 

"Why did you leave? Why are you back...and why are you... with him?" I ask still behind her. His scent on her causes me to scrunch my nose in disgust.

She stays quiet until she turns around to look me in the eyes. The way she used to when we were together. The way she used to when she had something important to say, especially when she would tell me she loved me. I was always able to know through her eyes when she was telling the truth or what she was feeling. Her beautiful chocolate eyes could never keep anything away from me. "I already told you Wilder. My dad had a job offer and we had to leave as soon as possible."

Looking in between her eyes I know she is lying. Even her heartbeat tells me she is. "Why are you lying? You always told me the truth about everything. When did you start lying? Especially to me Liliana. We always told each other the truth." Holding her face in my hands.

Trying to pull away I keep her in place. "Look who is talking about telling the truth." She spits pushing me off her. "You think I am lying about why I left? How about all the lies you have told? Huh? I had no choice but to leave. I was a minor and had to do what was told by my parents. I did not have the luxury to defy them and stay back. Is not like you could have done anything about it."

"What? How the hell was I lying? I have never lied to you Liliana. You would be the last person that I ever lied to. I loved you. I would have had you stay with me. How could you not know that? I wanted you by my side. It killed me when I went to pick you up the next morning and the house was empty as if no one had lived there for years. I called you and your phone was disconnected, called your parents and the same thing. I searched everywhere I thought you would be, but you vanished. I even hired a private detective. No leads or clues to where you went to. Now two f**king years later...you are back as if we meant nothing to each other. Living in another man's house. A f**king Alpha of another pack. Not only that but you are in a relationship with him? HOW THE F**K DID THAT HAPPEN?" I scream now in front of her.

Standing her ground, she glares at me. "All you need to know is that... that I had no choice." whispering she turns around.

"I understand you did not. But you still could have told me. My parents would have let you stay with us. They loved you as a daughter, especially my mom." 

Hearing her scoff I hear her mutter. "Yeah, right Wilder."

"What, they do. My dad even hired the private detective to find you." Explaining to her what he had done so she could be found.

Spinning around she looks at me confused. "He what?"

"He hired the detective."

Liliana shakes her head from side to side. Why would she look upset? "What's the matter?"

"Nothing. Just... forget it Wilder. Forget everything and specifically us. Whatever we had was the past. All you need to know is that I have moved on and so should you. It should not be hard since you..."

"Since I what?" 

Liliana stares at me for a while. Her face expression shows pain but masks it. "...since you are with Kendra." 

"I am not with her." Holding both sides of her arms. "She is nothing to me."

"If she is nothing to you, then why are you having sex with her? Why is she all over you then?"

"Lili-" I try explaining again.

Stepping back, she brings her hand up in a stop motion. "Do not Wilder. Do not say anything. We are not together. You can have sex with whoever you want. Just like I can be with whoever I want to be with... and that is Amel."

My jaw clenches as my fists. "You are still mine Liliana. Just because you disappeared two years ago and came back does not mean that I gave up or give up on you. Amel or no Amel." Gritting through my teeth I pull her closer to me and kiss her. 

Feeling her small hands on my hard chest, she pushes me off. "You have no right to kiss me Wilder. Now leave and do not come back. We are done."

Walking to the office door she opens it and stands next to it. Staring at her I walk up to her. "This is not over. I will find out the truth of why you left Liliana. Do not think I believe that bullsh*t excuse you gave me." And before actually walking away I tell her. "Do not also think that because you are living in another pack and in the Alpha's house that I will not make you mine again. Because mate or no mate, you will always be mine." I kiss her forehead then walk out of the office. 

I could care less if Liliana is with Amel and lives under his roof. She belonged to me then and still does whether she likes it or not. She will see.

Hello guys. How are you? I know it's been a while, but I am a busy person. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are getting ready for Christmas in the next few weeks.

Anyways, hope you like the update. What will Wilder do to find out the truth about Liliana's departure? How did she and Amel actually meet and why is she living with him?
