was completely and utterly shocked, how could this happen. I loved Alex as my best-friend , yet I had the urge to follow his every command. A werewolf being bound to vampire had only ever led to terrible things. The vampire would soon grow feelings for the werewolf and grow jealous of their mate causing the werewolf to kill their mate, but the were wolf would soon go insane because it lost its other half. I pulled away from Alex, reluctantly, and started sobbing.

"Alex, we can't do this, you know what will happen!" I shouted at him through my sobs.

"Nothing will happen Willow, your over-reacting." Alex said to me.

"No, I'm not. How is Ash going to feel about this? Don't you even care about what you just did? You have a real mate out there Alex and she's going to be heart broken when she finds you." I told him with my voice cracking when I said Ash's name. Alex grabbed me by the neck and smashed me into the wall with his face inches from mine.

"I do care about what I did, if i hadn't done it you wouldn't be standing here. I actually saved all three of your mates, plus I don't feel that way about you Willow so Instead of being like a couple we can continue being best friends." Even though he was looking at me with determination the entire time I could tell hear the uncertainty in his voice. but instead of questioning him I hugged him. He held the hug a little longer than I liked but I decided to let it go. I ran back through the doors to Ash who had a big frown on his face.

"Ash, is everything okay?" I asked cautiously.

"No, my mother and father are having marriage problems and I need to stay down there for awhile, but my mother isn't very fond of werewolves." Ash told me.

"Why can't Alex go?" I asked

"I don't know, my mom asked me to go specifically. I tried to say I was busy but she sounded desperate to have me come." Ash told me

"Okay." I said and with that he was off, and I was stuck with Alex.
