Ren's P.O.V
"What were you thinking you stupid child!" The Alpha roars from three doors down. "He wasn't going to hurt me father!" She states. "No your right! HE WAS GOING TO KILL YOU!" He growls out something shattering as I assume he throws something across the room. "Darling" another voice warns "I'm alright dear" the Alpha replies his voice dropping three octaves. "Clara your to stay in this house untill he is gone and you are to stay away from him, in fact, Zeke will be with you from now on at all times." "But d-!" She begins to protest "BUT NOTHING!" He commands "Out Now!" I hear a door open and slam as angry feet pound by the door. The door opens and the women from early steps in a man following behind her. She has fear in her eyes but she masks it with a fake smile. The wounds on her neck have scabbed over the guy that follows her sits in the corner his eyes watching her. "If you don't mind I'd like to run some tests while your awake" she says timidly not facing me. "Of course" I reply rolling my head popping the bones in my neck. She turns to me and runs a machine across my forehead it beeps and she scribbles on a pad of paper in front of her. She uses a tesescope to my chest, "I'm sorry about earlier" I tell her as she writes more down on the notepad. "It's alright, Like Clara said" she looks at me "who knows what you've been through the last three months." Sticking a needle in my arm she draws three vials of blood. "That should do it for now, the Mrs. made food it's down in the fridge your welcome to help yourself to anything, the only thing our Alpha asks is that you stay as far away from his daughter as you can." I smile as I pull the T-shirt on that she hands me. "He doesn't trust me" I say. "He doesn't trust anyone around Clara" I nod. "She's a female I understand that" she nods "That has a lot to do with it, But she's the Alphas daughter and you know how rare that is." "It would have been rare if she was his only child but she's not last time I checked the Alpha of the Northland's had four children a boy and three girls." She nods "and if something were to happen to the boy" she states "a girl would become Alpha" I say tying the knot together. "Exactly" she states "so she's like gold" she laughs "a bit more precious" she responds. "I'm done for the day we'll run some more tests tommorow" she replies walking toward the door. The man in the corner steps toward her she takes his hand and they leave. The door clicks close behind them and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

1:00 AM

Walking through the silent house nothing but snores fill the area around me. Stepping off the stairs I look around the dark living room. Turning to my left I walk into the kitchen startled by the girl standing at the fridge. She turns a glass of water half-way to her mouth she gapes at me. Striding forward I reach into the fridge behind her pulling out a plate of food. She stares up at me not moving as I unwrap the plate and put it into the microwave. Nudging the fridge close she walks silently out of the kitchen. "Sleep well Clara" she pauses for a moment before continuing on. "You as well Alpha" she whispers respectfully disappearing into the darkness around the corner.

Over the next three days moments like that would happen over and over again. I'd walk into the kitchen and she'd be at the sink. I'd walk into the living room and she'd be at the book shelf. She'd avoid my eyes at all costs. Never say a word. I'd find myself searching for her curious about her. Like an invisible string I'd follow it through the house into each room untill I accidentally run into her. She hurry of course, whatever she was doing and rush to leave pushing past me.

Three Days Later
"Ren, Two Wolves passed on to our territory two days ago. Were assuming that their your parents" the Alpha states. "Quite Nieve of you" I reply. "Oh trust me, Their being followed" he states. "Their almost at the border of the wood why don't you go greet them." Jumping to my feet, I take strides down the stairs and across the living room. Crossing the yard I stand half way to the boundary waiting for the two to Cross the threshold. Two lanky males Cross the boundary and I smile course dad couldn't come himself, had to send my boys to rescue me. I shake my head as they get closer smiles on their faces. "Bro!" Grey says bear hugging me. "Grey, Darion" I nod. "You guys Hungry?" I ask and they nod. "Starving dude" Grey says slapping my back. Leading them into the kitchen I make a few sandwiches and pass them to them. "So where you been? " Darion asks through a mouth full of food. "That's a conversation for a different time" I say crossing my arms and leaning against the counter. "Why so secretive? " Grey asks Downing a glass of water. "The walls have ears" I respond calmly. "So drop it" they both drop their eyes in response. Suddenly. Laughter filled the room as three boys burst in pushing each other around. "Were going to play football if you guys want to join" one of them states as they file out the side door. Grey looks at Darion "I'm down" he states and with a nod I follow them out into the clearing. But I could feel eyes on me, her eyes on me.

Clara's P.O.V
"Clara? Helloooo Earth the Clara!" Kai says waving his hand in front of my face. "Hmm?" I ask look up at him. "What are you watching?" He asks looking out the window where the boys were playing football. "Can we get back to studying or are you just going to stare at them, or should I say him" he asks his eyebrow raised. "I didn't hear the question" I reply innocently shrugging it off. "In what year did the pack wars happen?" "1986" I reply my eyes wandering back to the window. "And the council was established when? " he asks. "1988" I reply calmly. The laughter from the boys drowned out his next question Ren's eyes met mine as if he could feel me watching them. My next breath caught in my throat as his ash colored eyes bore into mine. "Clara? Earth to Clara" with sigh he shook his head "so useless." Looking away I turned to Kai. "Hey I take offense to that" he laughs "oh now you pay attention, you young ones are so bad" he shakes his head "tell you that you can't have something and suddenly that's all you want." I sigh "I can't help it Kai I feel something when I see him, I'm attracted to him and it scares me" Looking back out the window I bite my lip. "It's the Alpha in him, Your attracted to the power he carries with him, once he leaves you wont miss it" he begins packing up the bags. "Sure" I respond not wanting to argue with the elder. But that wasn't it, I'd been around Alpha's my whole life but with him it was different the air around him made me feel safe and in danger at the same time. I wanted his arms around me but I also wanted to run at the same time. It took all of my being to not break the Alpha's rules and be around him, his aura is like a string pulling me closer and closer to him.

Ren's P.O.V
Feeling her gaze my eyes met with hers. Hazel orbs swirled with green ribbon flecks of gold swirling around in them. Her cheeks are flushed a soft rosey pink. Her lips are full and a deep red. Heat courses through my blood. Closing my eyes I savor the feeling knowing I'd never know her. That her eyes will never meet mine again. Suddenly the football collides with my chest knocking the air out of me. "What are you looking at?" Jaxon her brother asks. I look back at the window to find it empty. "Nothing" I reply throwing the football back at him.

Later that Evening
Walking into the kitchen the house is oddly silent as people have finished dinner and gone to rest with full bellies. She stands at the sink washing the dishes.  Punishment for ignoring her teacher during lessons.  Silently walking over I stand next to her,  picking up a towel I begin drying the dishes she sets on the counter. She doesn't say anything but I can tell by the look on her face she's confused.  She keeps her thoughts to herself as we continue,  her washing and me drying.  I'm unable to keep up and a pile begins to form,  She finishes up and grabs another towel.  We dry together in silence.  Reaching above her head I begin to place the dishes in the cupboard.  She backs up a bit, startled she traps herself against the counter.  I smirk and look down. Her eyes are closed and her bottom lip is trapped in her teeth.  She seems to be concentrating on not looking at me.  The smell of fear and arousal oozes off of her,  I know she can smell it to. Brushing a stray piece of hair from her face I cup her cheek as her face flushes red.  "Clara" I whisper lowly.  Her eyes flutter open but avoid my gaze because she knows that once our eyes meet that's it all control will be lost.  "Clara" I whisper in her ear my lips barely nipping the lobe.  Her breath catches in her throat.  "Look at me" I say my voice barely above a whisper.  I press my lips to her throat,  her pulse beats erratically.  Lifting my face toward her's,  our eyes meet.  Suddenly her lips meet mine deeply and rushed.  Her Fingers dig into the hair tangled at the nape of my neck.  My fingers fit into curve of her hip.  I lift her slightly setting her on the counter.  Her legs wrap around my waist pulling me closer.  I reach up my hand getting caught in her red curls.  Pulling back I trail my lips down her throat nipping as I go.  Little whimpers leave her mouth.  Suddenly I'm thrown to the floor a mess of black fur standing over me snarling and growling. "STAND DOWN!" The Alpha's voice rings out, Causing the wolf to relax still refusing to let me up.  Clara sits on the counter her face flushed red and puffy lips.  Her hair is a mess and little red marks run down the side of her neck disappearing into the collar of her shirt.  "Take her" he signals to his wife who stands in the kitchen door way.  Anger is rolling off him in waves,  I just broke his only rule.  I touched his beloved daughter. Once Clara has left the room he turns to me,  "You" he says menacingly "follow me, NOW!"
