Week 34
Shoto was feeling good today. It was September 17th, one month from the due date. Today was a calm and cool day. It was relaxing. Nothing could be better.
The omega was just sitting on the bed, reading a letter he had gotten on his door step. It was another note from his Oniichan.
"What's that?" Katsuki asked as he walked out from the bathroom, water dripping down his hair and landing on the floor.
"Will you ever dry your hair right?" Shoto spoke, setting the note on the nightstand and taking the towel from the older. Katsuki sat on the floor, Shoto sitting behind him and dried his hair.
"So what where you looking at?" Katsuki questioned, liking the feeling of Shoto's hands in his hair.
"I got another note from Touya." Shoto stated. The older nodded.
"What did he say?"
"Oh, just saying hi and congratulation us for the engagement." Shoto said, smiling brightly as he poked at Katsuki's hair that was now up again.
"I see... hmmm, do you know where he is yet?" Katsuki asked, Shoto shook his head. Dabi was still in hiding. Shoto was worried about his older brother but he knew the latter would stay safe.
"I wish, but this is for the best. I miss him a lot." Shoto said, standing back up and throwing the damp towel into the laundry basket. He got back up on the bed and picked the note back up. He walked over to the closet and pulled out his box full of his brothers things. The younger placed the note into the box, along with the other letters. There were about twenty of them. Shoto made sure to never get rid of them. He cherished them and read them when he was feeling down or bored.
His brother was his hero, even if the boy was hidden by his villain facade. If the whole world left Dabi to drown in it's dark abyss, Shoto would be there. He would never leave him to drown.
That was one of Shoto's dreams once. His brother falling into a sea of blackness. His red hair darkening and his pale skin being covered in scars.
Shoto had dived to help the older, but the father he dived down the more Touya drifted.
In the end of the dream Shoto went limp and started to sink, Touya being the one to save the younger from the darkness.
Shoto did keep a dream/nightmare journal. He had them quite often but he saw them as interesting and liked to read the journal when he ever wanted to feel nostalgia.
The younger slid the box back into it's place. Shoto started to feel a little faint. His face turning pale as he felt something drip down his leg. Not until the older spoke did he know what was happening.
"Shoto..."
"Y-yes?..."
"Did your-"
"Yes, yes it did..."
Katsuki called didn't know what to do. So he decided to call Momo.
The girl excited and freaking out at the same time as she got in her limo to go pick the omega up.
"Shoto, breath. I read about this in a book. Just stay calm." Momo soothed, trying to stay calm herself.
The hyperventilating boy tired to stay calm. He took deep breathes. He didn't know what was happening. He wasn't due for another month. Why now?
Katsuki had called the doctor. Cussing as he asked what the hell was happening. She had said that this wasn't exactly rare. Early labor was not completely uncommon and to be calm. Katsuki tried his best to note blow up the limo while Shoto was literally steaming. Smoke was coming out of his back.
Momo had to create a fire extinguisher just in case.
~~~
Shoto had arrived at the hospital. The nurse trying there best to keep him from blowing up into flames.
Momo had to wait in the waiting room. She called Shoto's family along with there friends. Telling them the good/bad news.
The omega was going into labor quick.
(okay this labor I am about to describe is what happened to my little brother so don't at me when I don't completely know what I am talking about XD)
The doctor started to worry. Shoto was on his hands and knees, trying to push. The doctor said that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's. They wouldn't be able to do a C-section because of how far the baby had already gotten.
"The feet are coming first. So Mr. Todoroki you are gonna have to hang on." The doctor spoke. Trying not to think about the fact that the baby may not make it.
Katsuki squeezed the younger's hand. He too was sweating, face filled with worry.
~~~
Shoto huffed as he finally could stop pushing. He set his head back but shot right up when he didn't hear anything. There was no crying, nothing. Shoto looked up to see a smile on the olders face. The omega relaxed.
"It's boy." The doctor spoke, handing the baby to Shoto. Shoto smiled.
The boy was smaller than usual. Four pounds and eight ounces. That was not good. The doctor said that they where lucky that the baby survived. The fact that it wasn't breathing when it came out.
Shoto gave the small baby an Eskimo kiss. Loving it's red and blue eyes.
"What will we name him?" Katsuki asked as he leaned on the bed. Kissing the baby on it's small head.
"Hmmm...." Shoto thought, then smiled.
"I know the perfect name."
