(Third day of heat)

Todoroki got up from his bed. The cuts and bruises from yesterdays training where aching to the point where his body was trembling. He had passed out and when he woke up he had missed pretty much more than half of school. No point in going now.

He went to his dresser and put on some simple clothes, including the hoodie Bakugou had given him. It was just a plain black hoodie, on the back it had red lettering that said

Todoroki was planning to head out to go visit his mother. He started to see her more frequently, the first time was the hardest, but eventually it started to become more easy to talk to his mother. She had apologized so much to him and he forgave her. He understood it wasn't her fault. He enjoyed seeing her now more vibrant smiles. It was for the best she was far away from Todoroki's devil of a father.

Todoroki stepped into the psychiatric ward. He had white roses in his hands, they reminded him of her. Both of them being unique and beautiful.

Todoroki knocked on the door that he did come to enjoy seeing. He could hear the small voice of his mother welcoming him in. He opened the door and stepped inside.

"Hm.... Shoto?" His mother spoke as she looked at him, her voice curios.

"Yes?" Todoroki asked as he placed the flowers on his mothers side table.

"Are you seeing someone?" She asked. Todoroki looked away for a second before sighing and sitting on the bed. His mother sitting on the chair she usually was in.

"Why do you ask?" Todoroki questioned.

"You smell strongly of a male alpha." His mother stated. Her eyes looking over her sons face, trying to see if his expression changed some how.

All Todoroki could do was stare wide eyed as a blush appeared on the bridge of his nose and ears.

"I.... ya, I guess you could say that." Shoto mumbled as he looked away. He started to fidget with the hem of the jackets sleeve.

"I guess? You are wearing his jacket, no? That's definitely not yours. It must be your boyfriends. Tell me about him. Name, what's he like?" She asked. Todoroki sighed before explaining how Bakugou Katsuki had made his heart race every time he saw the hot headed blonde.

Rei was quite enjoying seeing her son describing this Bakugou. She could tell this boy was something special, cause not just anyone could tame her sons heart. She also believed he was the right person for her son. When she learned Shoto was omega she was scared that she would never have grand children. She knew that he would take suppressants but the fact she could smell Todoroki told her that he wasn't and she still had a chance.

"I want to see a picture of this boy." Todoroki's mother stated. Todoroki hesitated before pulling out his phone and showing his mother of picture Momo had taken at Nejire's party. Todoroki pointed at a certain explosive teen. She smiled to herself before nodding.

"I want you to bring him when you visit sometime. I would like to meet him." She uttered as she stood up and walked over to the white roses Shoto had brought.

"Um... ya, I will have to see." Was all Todoroki could mutter. He was a little nervous about having Bakugou meet his family, but maybe if it was just his mother it would be okay.

"Mmmm, white roses. They smell lovely. Thank you." Rei hummed as she placed the roses in a nice clean vase.

"Your welcome. I better head home. I have homework to do. I will try to visit you this weekend." Todoroki stated as he stood up from the bed. He walked over to the door. He was then surprised when he was pulled into a hug. He looked down to see his mothers white hair. Yes he did see his mother often but it had been awhile since he had felt her warmth. He liked this feeling so he hugged her back. He buried his head into her calming white hair.

They had stayed there for a moment in complete silence. Shoto just wanted to savor this moment. Rei wished she could hold her son for longer, her precious son that she cherished so deeply.

Rei let go of her Shoto. She smiled at him before looking over to the white roses.

"You better get going. You got to make sure to keep up with that homework. Like I said, I want to meet this Bakugou Katsuki." She stated before sitting back into her usual chair.

"Hmm, I promise I will. Bye. I'll visit you again soon." Todoroki said before walking out of the room and heading out of the ward.

Todoroki stepped onto the street, he was gonna head to the store but he was interrupted when his phone vibrated. He looked down to see it was from Momo.

~Message~

Momo:

Hey! Where were you?

You weren't at school today and I was worried.

Todoroki:

Sorry. I was having a headache so Fuyumi didn't let me go to school.

Todoroki hoped that Momo would believe his lie. He didn't know what else to tell her.

Oh ok. You better get better real quick because I am having a party tomorrow. You are gonna be there so be prepared.

Oh I convinced Bakugou to come so😉😏

Todoroki sighed as he set his phone back into his pocket. Partying wasn't really his thing. Hopefully he could just stop by and the leave. But things weren't that simple.

Simple is a word defeated by all most everything.

"Well guess tomorrow is gonna be interesting."
