I got up from the couch and before I left I can hear the sound of my mate and luna voice talking and laughing. I slam the door shut out of anger. My own mate doesn't even let me get close to her she still doesn't trust me.

I go to the pack house "MOM!" I yell my wolf voice was also heard too. I walk upstairs and I go to my dad old office to see my mom and my dad there. My dad stands up. "Archie calm down do you want to scare your pack members what is it."

He barked at me while using his alpha tone he doesn't scare me but everyone else is scared of him since he is a very powerful man. I look at my mom drinking blood from her glass. " how can I calm down I don't know want to do."

My mom and dad look surprised because I barley even visit them and I'm not the type of person to ask for help. "What is it sweetheart?" Said my mom I look at her "I found my mate." I look at my parents and they smiled at me. My mom ran to me and gave me the biggest and tightest hug ever.

"Congratulations finally you found her where is she,who is she?" Asked my mom my dad chuckles "calm down Aubrey ask your questions one by one." Said my dad she lets me go and goes next to my father. " she is human." "But she is very feisty she doesn't even want me mom can you believe that."

She shakes her head "sweetheart that a lie she is probably trying to hide her feelings from you remember what I said the mate pull is very strong sooner and later she is going to want you." Said my mom with determination written all over her face.

"I don't think so mom I think something happened to her I'm not sure what it is but she doesn't want me to get closer to her and ......she is scared of me mom she thinks I'm going to harm her." I look at my mom she wasn't saying anything at all but she looks at my father and at me.

"I don't really want to tell you this because you might bring unwanted memories to her but to me it sounds like she was abused in her old pack, does she always wears long sleeves shirt?" My body froze I clench my jaw and a low growl came out.

"Archie what is your mate name?" I look at my father "Ava cooper." He nods "I felt like I heard that name somewhere but I'm not sure." I look at my father with a confused face but I don't say anything to him. "Can I meet her?" Said my mom. "Um...yeah sure but I don't think she will speak to you."

I said to her and she nods "how about tomorrow we all eat as a family we will go to your house tomorrow to see her." And I nod "she also has a sister name luna." And she nods. I said goodbye to her and I made my way to my house.

As I got closer I heard screams and grunts coming from the house. I ran inside to see the house in a big mess. I growl as I see my beta holding my mate by her neck. I threw him off her she was shaking in fear. "Issac how dare you show disrespect to my mate and your future luna of this pack." He coughs and he bows down to her.

"I'm sorry luna I didn't know please forgive me." I look at my mate and back at him "LEAVE!" He bolted from my house and he left I look at luna. To see her hiding herself. "Ava are you alright." I ask her. She looks at me with fear which made my wolf whimper.

"Sorry Ava." I stand up about to leave when I felt my shirt being hold I turn around to look at my mate. She stands up and she does something that surprises me and makes my wolf howl in happiness. She is hugging me both her arms are wrap around my waist. I slowly wrap my arms around her.

I can hear her whimper and she gets more closer to me. "I won't let anyone hurt you Ava I promise no one will ever hurt you again you are safe here." I told her I was trying to reassure her that I will never hurt her. Who ever made my mate this way I'm going to kill him.

" don't leave me al-alone again." She tightens her hold on me and I pick her up I look at luna "luna can you please follow me." She nods and we walk upstairs I look at my mate she wasn't looking at me. I put her down on the bed.

But she wouldn't let me go "s..stay please." I did what she said and all I felt like doing is smacking Isaac for scaring my mate. "Ava please let me in i need to know why you this way I'm worried for you." I told her.
