"It's been a century that these creatures existed"

"Creatures?"

"It's a goddess destiny"

"Destiny?"

Three unique eggs lay on a metal box fire candles lit around them keeping them warm. These eye catching unique eggs only tempt my curiosity as I start approaching them wanting to get a feel on them. Just as I was about to touch one the fire candles blows right at my face.

Fluttering my eyes open in a panic sitting up on the bed, I realize it was just a dream that felt so real. However, here I am in the same room I was introduced to last night by Azure. After a while of getting my composure together. I get out of bed getting into the shower to start my day. Whatever it consists of.

After dressing myself, I open the door stepping out into the hallway looking around seeing no one. I decide to walk straight down the hallway until I hit the stairs slowly stepping down not wanting to make any kind of noise in case anyone is still asleep. I start hearing my stomach grumble only meaning I'm hungry.

"I wonder where the kitchen is?," I murmur to myself.

Just as I was about to make a turn, a maid steps out of a room bumping into me.
"I'm so sorry goddess Alyja... please don't hurt me," she begs terrified.

I furrow my brows confused on why she would think such of a thing of me. "I'm not going to hurt you," I reassure placing my hand on her shoulder calming her down. She takes a deep breathe thanking me in sparing her life.

"You must be hungry. Follow me goddess," she hastily says grabbing my hand softly.

Once sat in the dining room, the nice maid brought my plate full of pancakes with a small tablespoon of butter on top placing it on the table in front of me. The smell of it has my mouth watering and I didn't hesitate to start digging into the delicious breakfast. As I was adding syrup onto my pancakes. A presence I'm not so fond of bursts into the kitchen.

"Bring my plate," Luka coldly commands taking a seat across from me.

I don't bother looking up at him even though my wolf wants me too, but I ignore it's craving due to avoiding an insult which seems to always be the response I get every time I see him.

"Still here I see."

I don't bother responding stuffing my mouth with pancakes enjoying every bite of it. "It's rude to ignore a alpha," Luka spat taking a bite of his pancakes.

"Funny you say that since you be disrespecting your goddess," I bluntly respond. My eyes locking with his. I hate the strong connection he has towards me. Maybe that's the reason why I'm always trying to avoid his gaze because of the power it truly contains over me.

Luka stays quiet throwing the most hateful glare towards me. I avert my eyes away from his intense glare no matter how much I try to beat him in the stare down, I just can win.

"I'm taking you out later today, so be ready," he blankly says abruptly standing up from his chair turning his heel around to walk away.

I'm stunned on what he said instead of asking what time, it took me awhile to process what he said. There was even a moment I thought I was dreaming or hallucinating, but as much as I pinched myself on the arm I kept seeing the same kitchen room realizing this is in fact all real. Alpha Luka, my mate is taking me out today not sure where or why, but I must admit my heart must of done a thousand flips within the minute.

I'm currently getting ready for my day out with Luka. I have no idea what time, but I'm making sure I'm ready ahead of time for whatever time it is. I decide to straighten my hair only applying mascara and eyeliner nothing to drastic just simple and natural. I'm wearing black leggings, dark brown boots, a ivory scarf, and a dark brown coat knowing it's freezing outside especially during night time. Not being used to this empire's weather, I realize I need to go buy some warm clothes during my time here.

"Let's go," Luka suddenly murmurs from behind me causing me to jump in fright. I turn around seeing him standing causally a few inches from me letting out a small chuckle.

However, I couldn't remain mad being struck by pure beauty as I take in his appearance. Luka is the definition of beautiful in my opinion. Striking crystal blue eyes, soft clean skin, those small pinkish plumped lips of his, his brownish brows giving his features that badass look that flows well with his baby face, and definitely can't forget his shiny smooth platinum blonde hair that just makes him stand out completely from anyone I've ever seen before. This man is everything any she-wolf would pray for.

"Not funny! You scared the crap out of me!," I spat breaking myself out of my admiring state.

"Always have to be on your toes here goddess... take that as a heads up for staying here now let's go," he mutters turning around exiting the room.

I roll my eyes following behind him. As I walk behind him, I can't help, but think to myself how this alpha keeps wondering into my room without making the slightest sound. I wonder if he watches me while I sleep since apparently I can't detect him at all.

After a long quiet drive which alpha Luka practically ignored my presence the entire time. We finally arrive at some place I'm not at all familiar with.

Once out of the car, I'm completely astonished by the beauty surrounding me right now. Snow everywhere of course as little flakes keep falling down from the foggy blue sky giving the place such a beautiful scene. Lights are all hanged around trees and buildings giving everything such a Christmas feel to it even though it's not at all close to being that holiday.

"Is this how your empire always looks like?," I ask Luka admiring the view as we both walk further down the snowy sidewalk.

"Always," he blankly responds.

"So beautiful," I compliment noticing more lights of various colors hanging loosely around street light poles, buildings, trees, and benches.

"Yeah it's okay I guess," Luka yawns.

"What made you take me out?," I steer the subject no longer being able to hold back my curiosity. After all Luka has pushed me away and insulted me more than once, so for him to bring me out so suddenly it's just so weird.

"Don't take this as I date now"

"I'm not! I'm just asking since you're you," I roll my eyes crossing my arms across my chest.

"Heard you never touched snow before, so I thought I'd take you out since I was bored at home today," Luka briefly says.

"Right," I murmur stepping aside to crouch down taking a small portion of snow into my hand. My first impression about snow is how hard it is. I thought it would be soft, but either way it's still amazing.

"Cold ain't it?," Luka says from behind me. Standing back up, I turn around facing Luka. "It isn't cold," I murmur still having the chunk of snow in my hand.

"Of course it isn't since you're the ice goddess," he raises a brow observing me and the chunk of ice lying on my hand.

Suddenly, it's starts snowing more heavily and I extend my hand out dropping the chunk of ice to feel the beautiful flakes. Luka's empire is incredible. However, a small sparkly flake reminded me of my dream last night. For some reason that dream has me curious of what it means it almost feels like some sort of message we'll that's what I think.

"Alpha?"

"What?," Luka blankly responds.

"I had a dream last night about three eggs looking like dragon skin. In the dream it was mentioned these haven't existed since a century ago. Do you happen to know anything about such a thing?"

"No. Come on we have to leave now,"  he hastily responds turning his heel around walking away.

I crease my brows together not understanding his sudden reaction to my dream. However, I don't question anything following behind him. As I walk, I notice a huge clock tower in the middle of the city noticing it's 11:20. My eyes turn away to Luka who's power walking his way to the car.

"Hurry up. I have a place to be after I drop you off at the mansion," Luka rudely says stepping inside the car.

"Where do you have to be at this time?"

"Mind your business goddess," Luka mutters.

Rolling my eyes, I take a seat curiously thinking to myself where he has to be at this time just like yesterday. Maybe it's an alpha duty, I have no idea, but one thing is for certain I want to know what exactly he's up to. So I decide to not stay in tonight after I'm dropped off at his home.

I'm going to follow him.
