After I told Athena about Luka being my mate, she started laughing which had me very annoyed. She absolutely knows how much I wanted to be mates with alpha Edon instead. Him and I have so much in common, but a week ago the moon decided my fate.

When Odysseus threw me across the field, Luka being alpha broke my fall by using his body to prevent me from slamming hard against the brick wall which I'm entirely grateful for, but it didn't just end there. The moment our skin touched overpowering sparks erupted like pure electricity between us.

A few seconds ago, I didn't even know his wolf scent until then as it overpowered my nostrils almost like a perfume that becomes too strong after you smell it after awhile. What was suppose to be a beautiful moment that I was waiting on since a kid ended up being the complete opposite. The face expression Luka had after we felt the sparks made my heart drop down to my stomach.

Even though, Luka is undeniably handsome, I must admit Luka isn't at all what I want in a mate from what Athena once mentioned before about his bad wolf ways, being a player, immature, cocky, and just a complete arrogant alpha entirely opposite from me. However, his face of pure disgust as he glared at me was enough to shatter my self esteem to the ground.

Luka immediately got up leaving me on the floor as he sprinted back to the battlefield like nothing ever happened between us. I was speechless about his actions not knowing what to do, but I made my decision to do the same as him and that was act like nothing ever happened even if my wolf whimpered.

"Thank you so much goddess Alyja for coming," Azure casually says breaking me out of my thoughts.

I have no idea what made me decide to take upon this insane request, but I did. As much as I dislike Luka, I also don't want him hurting. From what Azure mentioned, he's completely devastated about his mother's illness. I have yet to find out what is wrong with her and how I would be able to assist her besides the fact that she wants me to freeze her body.

So here I am sitting on blue leather seat bored hoping Luka's empire isn't far from alpha Lysias. I've never was a traveler due to never having the privilege to leave Odysseus empire always being trapped inside his controlled empire. So I definitely hate traveling finding it weird and unknown.

"Of course it's my duty to help with whatever I can," I half smile.

"Must be odd for someone like you to be mated to my little brother."

"How do you know about us being mates? Did Luka tell you?," I steer the subject.

"Luka definitely didn't tell me... you see him and I have a difficult relationship. We don't speak, you know how teens are such rebels," Azure chuckles.

"Right, so who told you about us?," I raise my brow suspiciously. If Luka didn't tell him then who did?

"My mother did," he responds.

"Mother? I don't understand... how would she possibly know?"

"That I do not know, she's very secretive with everything."

"Is she psychic?," I say very confused about the entire thing.

"I have no idea Goddess, like I said she's very secretive," Azure reminds averting his attention away from me staring straight onto the road.

I huff brushing everything to the back of my mind not wanting to overwork myself eventually giving myself a headache before I even get to the empire.

After a few hours, we finally enter alpha Luka's empire which is absolutely stunning and new something I've never seen before in my life literally. White snow is everywhere and coming down from the sky. This is so magical to me, I only read about snow in the books, but never seen nor felt it.

I'm completely amazed by the entire foggy beautiful view from my window as we pass by. Goosebumps start to appear on my arms as the cold temperature strikes us as we drive deeper into the empire.

"Beautiful," I breathe astonishingly.

"You act like you've never seen snow before," Azure utters.

"I haven't."

"Wow, then you'll love this," he says stepping on the gas pedal making a turn going into a different path.

My silvery-blue eyes almost bulge out of their sockets as I observe every detail such beauty of nature presenting itself to me as of this moment. Pure white snow covers the road we are driving on, trees are completely filled with snow giving such an elegance and fairy feel to the entire place, and how can I forget the soft snowflakes that still keeps falling down the sky. All I want to do is get out of this car and touch this beautiful snow.

"We're almost there," Azure announces intently watching me.

"This empire is absolutely stunning so unreal," I truthful say meaning every word. This place is so magical, I wouldn't mind at all living here the weather is so me in a way.

Azure smirks not saying a world continuing to admire my reaction while cautiously driving up the snowy road. I make a note to myself as soon as I get the chance to adventure this area and play with the snow.

"We're here... Welcome goddess," Azure smiles pulling up to a driveway putting the car on park.

I gasp, from the luxurious mansion that flows along with the snow and climate of this empire. The entire place is such a masterpiece natural handpicked wood and engraved stones all complimenting each other very well giving the mansion a sense of comfort and warmth.

Luka is very blessed.

I had no idea that Azure was out of the car until he surprised me by opening the door extending his hand out for me to take which I did stepping out of the car. The front door of the mansion opens, two maids make their way towards us grabbing my luggages from the car. Azure leads the way as I slowly follow behind him not at all knowing what to expect. My heart is thumping out of my chest from the sudden nervousness from seeing those crystal blue eyes again.

Just as I expected the inside of this masterpiece mansion is so lovely, warm, and elegant along with a nature smell I can't get enough of. Almost feels as if the air is so fresh and clean unlike anything I've ever smelled before.

"Oh little brother!," Azure calls out loudly, a mischievous smirk plastered on his face.

I furrow my brows confused on why he's doing this. I'm sure Luka knows I would be coming, but I definitely one hundred percent know he doesn't want anything to do with me. He made that crystal clear a week ago.

Footsteps are heard coming from downstairs straight ahead. Each stomp making my heart beat irregularly. My palms becoming sweaty nervous to see my mate.

Once the footsteps are heard coming to a full stop, my head tilts up curiously feeling a strong gaze fixated on me.

My silvery-blue eyes meeting his beautiful crystal blue eyes at the exact same time.
