Alpha I Will Not Accept I Only Reject!

Chapter Nineteen

Alisa’s POV

I felt my blood run cold as my body became numb. Hearing what the doctor had just said. His words made me feel more pain then what my dad had ever put me through. I had never felt anything like this in my life, my heart felt like it was shattering into pieces. I could hear voices in the background but could not make out what anyone was saying or even whom. It was as if I was not fully here in the room but knowing I was, I was so scared not knowing what was happening to me then  I felt arms wrap around me hugging me close to them I knew who it was so I let my body fall into Lucas.

“Hey sis, shush, it’s going to be alright I promise I will help you,” he said. I could tell he was trying so hard not to show he was crying but I knew how he felt through our twin link, then all of a sudden it was as if something snapped inside me! I pulled away from him and ran out of the room,  but before I could escape the room I felt  my brother grab me then a sharp sting in my arm, my body collapsed into Lucas which I was thankful for, as I knew if he was not holding on to me I would have collapsed to the floor. I felt him move me to the bed alongside my blue eyes and I leaned in closer feeling sleep taking over me.

Lucas’s POV

After I knew Alisa was asleep I looked to the doctor.

“How far along was she?” I asked.

“About one month,” he replied sadly. I nodded as a lump formed in the back of my throat.  I looked over at Caprice and saw her body shaking from her sobs I walked over and hugged her trying to offer some sort of comfort.

“Caprice; Clarisse and I will watch Alisa and Ricardo; please go get some rest ok,” I said, as I knew she had been through so much the last month.

“Clarisse will you help your mum to her bedroom please,” I asked, not knowing where this knew strength was coming from, but gladly accepting it as I needed to be strong for everyone in the room right now.

“Ok” she said through her sobs, I placed a kiss on her forehead and thanked her. After everyone had left the bedroom and it was just the doctor and me left.

“How bad were they?” I asked not really wanting to know, but at the same time I needed to.

“If the two Alpha’s didn’t get to them when they did both of them would be more than likely dead by now,” he said in anger. I had so many questions running around in my head but then decided to ask what I knew my sister would have asked.

“Will my sister be able conceive more pups?” he looked at me for a long time before he replied

“I am not sure, she is still in the healing process but it will be only time before we will know for sure.” I stood there for a while taking everything in.

“One last thing, are they going to recover from this?” I asked hoping he was not going to give me any more bad news because to be honest I do not think I could cope with any more.

“The injection I gave them will calm them down, health wise there are healing well. Nevertheless, mentally I am not as sure as they have been through more than what most werewolves’ would go through in their entire life. Losing their pup seemed to finish them both,” he took a deep breath before he continued, “They will need all of you to be there for them and help them through this ,but with the love and comfort from all of you there is a stronger chance for them to get through this.” He said.

“Thank you doctor I really appreciate all you have done and I will personally make sure they will have everything they need,” I said meaning every word.

I was sitting on the sofa in deep thought when Clarisse came and sat beside me, I felt her body sinking into me, I leaned down I kissed her forehead

“I promise you I will never ever be like my dad Clarisse, how can he do this to her? To them both I HATE HIM!” I said, with so much anger.

“Baby I know you will never be like your father, you have a big heart and if it wasn’t for you; your sister would not be here right now,” she replied with so much love.

“I love you so much Clarisse,” I told her with everything in me, looking deep into her eyes as they sparkled.

“I love you too Lucas and we will help them both through this ok,” she said with all her heart. I kissed her lips softly.

A few hours later, the doctor came back.

“Ok you two, I need you to go to bed and rest as you will be needed a lot over the next few days,” he said in a don’t mess with me tone. I went to say no but the look he gave me I knew not to argue, I went over and kissed Alisa while Clarisse kissed Ricardo before we both left for bed.

When I woke up I grabbed my mobile of the bedside table to check the time.

“Oh my god!” I shouted, as it was one in the afternoon I couldn’t believe I slept in that late.

“WHAT?” Clarisse shouted panic clearly in her voice, making me laugh at her sleepy panicked look.

“What?” she said looking at me like I was mad.

“It is one in the afternoon we slept in,” I said, trying to control my laughter as she looked like she was getting mad with me now.

“Then why the hell scream out. God I thought something bad had happened,” she said with a mixture of anger and relief. After we cleaned up and got dressed, we went to see how Ricardo and Alisa were this morning.  I was just about to open the door only to be stopped by Alpha Jackson resting his hand on my shoulder. 

“Hello son,” he said with a small smile.

“Hello Alpha,” I replied, while Clarisse ran up to her father giving him the biggest hug and he hugged her back. I could see so much love in his eyes, as I looked at them I tried to think back to our dad, as I had never seen that look in his eyes. This made me feel so sad, but also made me realise that our dad has never really loved us, it was as if he had us for a purpose more than to have a family, which made me feel sick. It was as if Clarisse sensed how I was feeling as she came over and hugged me, she then placed a kiss on my cheek.

“They are both sleeping and the doctor is in there now, come on you two let’s go and get some lunch then you both can see them after ok?” Jackson said, while leading us both down the stairs. As we reached the kitchen, the table was full of food I did not realise how hungry I was until I seen all the food. I quickly took a seat and filled my plate everyone looked at me and laughed.

“Well someone is hungry,” Caprice said with a small chuckle, I laughed and got stuck into my lunch.

As soon as I finished Alpha Jackson asked me to follow him. As I followed him into his office he walked over and stood in front of the big window, he just stood there looking out as I took a seat on a big leather sofa across the room from him.

“I need to talk to you about your dad and your dad’s pack,” he said in an Alpha business tone.

“To be honest I don’t care about my dad and as for the pack a lot of them seem to be as bad as him so I really don’t think there is much to talk about,” I replied calmly. As my best friend, Mason betrayed me as he was in on everything with my dad. Even though he was to be my beta when I took over as Alpha, I knew I could never trust him now! Alpha Jackson looked at me, studying me hard for a minute, my wolf did not like it at all but I knew he meant nothing by it.

“Look as you are soon to be Alpha of your dads pack, and also soon to be my son in-law. I need to inform you that your mother along with other pack members did not know what was going on. And others did not have a choice, as you are aware when your Alpha makes a command your wolf will do anything to obey his command,” he said. I thought over what he was saying but even though I knew he was right I didn’t think I was ready for all of this.

“I know what you are saying is right, but how can I lead a pack I do not trust! What if my dad comes back, as no one has found him yet,” I replied with some of my doubts.

“I understand everything you are saying, that is why I called you in here as I have come up with an idea I want to run by you,” he said with a look of nervousness along with hope. I nodded for him to continue.

“I was thinking if we both interrogate every wolf in your pack and the ones you think are trust worthy we will allow them to stay the ones you don’t trust we will keep them under twenty four hour surveillance, that way we can keep a close eye on them. In addition, just for now we could join the packs up that way I will be able to help just until we catch your dad. Then you and Clarisse can take over your rightful places as Alpha and Alpha female of your pack.” Everything  he said seemed  good but the one thing I wanted more than anything was the death of my dad, that was my main concern as I wanted him dead so I knew that Alisa and Ricardo will be safe and be able to live as all mates should.

Alpha Jackson and I spoke for a good few hours and then I went to see Alisa and Ricardo were I knew Clarisse would be. I knocked on the door and walked in, and seeing them both awake I ran over to them, not been able to hold back the tears of joy seeing them both awake. They both laughed at me along with Clarisse but they all had tears in their eyes too.

“I have been so worried, you two better not leave my sight again or I will kill you myself ok?” I said using my Alpha tone, they all laughed as my Alpha tone wouldn’t work on them as Ricardo is soon to be Alpha and Alisa his Alpha female. I laughed along with them then and it felt good as it felt so long since I truly laughed.
